It's an old hotel that looks tired but as it was so cheap I cannot complain. My only moan is the room wasn't clean and even on a budget that not acceptable. However the good food, great.location, beach and attentive staff recovered my views and I would come back.

Everything great !!! But: Smoking people stink up everything. The worst is the pool area and the beach. Even the live guards smoke right in front of the the balcony. It smells everywhere like an ashtray.

The hotel is in a great location, the beach is beautiful, the water is shallow and warm. The rooms and their quality are totally inadequate for the price, everything is a bit old. Superior rooms are much better and brighter than the Deluxe options. A typically Thai breakfast, as the main guests are Thai people. Once in the morning there were even leftovers from the previous day… most of the ready meals were extremely spicy. Sometimes only the pancakes and fruit were not spicy… They didn't even have muesli or yoghurt. However, that would still be swallowing. Unfortunately, every day in front of the hotel on the beach there is a techno party, the music is so loud that you cannot hear your own thoughts and the windows bounce to the rhythm of the music. They finish between 23:00 and 24:00! Deluxe Rooms are overlooking the pool and are the loudest, because that's where the center of the party is. Similar situation is with the Beachfront rooms. it is quieter in superior rooms, farthest from the beachbar, but still very noisy. If you do not mind the above, I recommend it. The hotel has a great location, nice pool, there is some shade to hide during the day.

We didn't like that the life guards smoke so much right at the bungalows. We felt like sitting in an ashtray. Thanks to reception they moved around the corner for their stinky habit. Thank you.

Liked: Room, pool, food, staff DISLIKED: They let everybody smoke at the pool and beach. The worst are the life guards who sit a few minutes from the balcony and smoke ALL DAY !! You basically sit in an ashtray. There is a little bar next yo it and people smoke like freight trains. Sometimes cannot breathe. What a pitty.

White sand beach has truely the best fine sand and is the most crowded beach of the island. The hotel is located just at the middle of the beach. It offers the best beach pool of the area. There are mostly families in this hotel. If you want to explore all of the beaches on Koh Chang stay in this hotel for White Sand beach. But don't expect too much in term of the room facilty and cleaness or comfort. It is worth to stay for 2-3 nights not more.

Staff very good, check in smooth. Room is ok if not a little dated but clean no problems here. Facilities very good. Excellent pool, right on the beach and good swimming in the sea. Right on White Sand beach entertainment with very nice restaurants near by. Really enjoy staying their and look forward to the nesx time.

Great beach location”
Enjoyed my stay, that is, after I dispatched with a few unwanted visitors. The first visitor, a prehistoric cockroach, challenged me in the bathroom. We stood face to face like a couple of gunslingers, but I drew the faster shoe! His brother undoubtedly sought his revenge, and confronted me in the bedroom. Again, my six-shoeter was quicker. The word must have been spread by the town's roaches that I wasn't to be messed with, and my remaining days were peaceful and clean. The breakfast was average, except for the made-to-order omelets. Quit tasty, and there was a bottle of Tabasco sauce on every table to my joy! White Sands beach is not very long and some sections were rocky, but not at this hotel. Soft sand, and a calm sea made the days relaxing. The pool is nice, but full of noisy kids, but kids will be kids. About the food, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that food vendors occupied a section of the road at night. You don't need to spend much in the restaurants, when you can sample all types of treasures from Thailand. Although not a Thai food, I especially found the kebobs to be excellent. Plenty of souvenir shops, convenience stores, etc. One of my highlights was renting a motorbike (250 baht) for a day and traveling all the way down to Lonely Beach. A fun ride with hills and curved thrills. I would stay again.
