The Kohmak Riverside Resort has an ideal location - beach is one step away, also a main road, however is nicely hidden in the green are with a pond. The accommodation is clean and spacious.

Clean, Quiet and Nice People ”
This is a very nice place to relax! The place is overall beautiful in any kind of weather. When we were there it rained for 3 days in a row so we spent most of our time inside, which was still good. We both enjoyed our quiet time. In the morning you can see the lake and enjoy the sunrise, and in the afternoon is the sunset! The owner is quite friendly. He has a lovely cat named Noodle. Noodle is a very cute and friendly one. He did accompany us during our stay. We highly recommend you Kohmak Riverside Resort if you need a quiet, relaxing and natured-surrounded place to stay.

Quiet bungalow in beautiful setting”
We spent 2 nights at the Riverside Resort and it was just fantastic. Walking distance to everything you need on this beautiful island. The bungalow itself is spacious, clean, very relaxing and over all in great condition. The water in the bathroom has some weird detergent smell but I guess this is due to fresh water supply to the island. Coffee and drinking water is provided daily and has a cool restaurant/bar on site which looked very popular and busy every night although we never tried as the waiting time is way too long due to the place being under staffed.

Large clean bungalows in a tranquil location just minutes from the beach”
It is a lovely tranquil location set back from the road where most of the restaurants are. There are just 5 bungalows set around a small lake. The rooms are large and comfy and each bungalow has a hammock on the veranda - that we spent many a happy hour relaxing in - as well as having two comfy chairs. It is only 3 or 4 minutes walk to the beach and nearly all the resorts on the beach seem happy for non residents to use their beaches - especially if you are having food or drink or a massage there, so we felt we had the best of both worlds. Before booking we had a slight concern that there might be more mosquitoes there because of the lake, but this wasn't the case, in fact we hardly saw (or felt) any mosquitoes at all. We booked an additional 3 nights while there and would have booked longer if there had been availability. If you like cats, there is a very friendly one called Noodle who will be delighted by any fuss you make of her.

A lovely stay”
I had stayed for 6 days in Riverside and I found it a small oasis. They've got six or seven bungalows built right by a pond in a beautiful and leafy surronding and all with decent balcony,which is my favourite, and hammock. The room is spacious, clean and well-decorated. A/C functions pretty well. And the owners, Mr.Rene and his Canadian partner, are very nice person!

Good place”
Not on the beach, but 1 minute by foot and you are on the beach. Really quiet at night, so perfect for a good rest. No noise from other cafes or hotels. The only downside i can think of is that you dont have an oceanview from your room. The food is VERY good!! Especially the masaman curry and the farmer salad (dont forget to offer the cat a bit of chicken). Owner is very friendly. Rooms are clean. And there is a frisbee golf course nearby!!! You have to try that :)

The place is nice and not too far from the pier at all. Room was okay with the price but the bed needs to be more clean as we got some itchy rashes after we stayed over night.

The rooms are nice for the price. While the location is not the best, the island is really small, and with motorbike one can get everywhere. The food was good too.

I went with my friend over new year and it was such a wonderful experience. All of the bunglows are on the beach and are super spacious and clean. The owner of the property is the nicest man we have met! He brought us a gift on new year, helped us with finding places, and came straight away if we had any issues or questions. Would recommend staying here! :)

I really liked this location and bungalow. The bungalows are big and the bathrooms lovely. Outside you have your own hammock just by a big pond. Perfect for lazy days and just reading a book. I only booked two night but really wish I would have booked longer. Would definitely come back.

Really good location. It's quiet and relaxing and the best beaches and most of the restaurants are in walking distance. The cottage is spacious and clean. We didn't have any problems with insects although you can't avoid them completely on tropical islands

Great sized bungalows excellent restaurant ”
The bungalows were really big with air con and a nice terrace with a hammock in front of the pond. Bring mosquito repellent though. The restaurant has excellent food and lots of drinks available. Plus a nice pool table and dart board. We would definitely stay again.

Everything is great, except a lot of mosquitos on the island. Please don't forget to buy repellents before sunset and use it heavily.

Good location ”
Our bungalow was pleasant and spacious. Good WiFi and generally comfortable except for chairs both inside and on the porch. The porch would have been a much nicer place to spend time except the chairs were so uncomfortable. While we generally enjoyed our stay be advised that you will probably never see any staff or have the room, sheets, and towels cleaned or even the garbage removed.

Bungalow are big and nice. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is really cool. The only problem is the "lake" which attract some mosquitoes.
