The place is nice, really good feeling since the begaining. Swimming pool,chill area,friendly staff,,really good vibe place. I booked the hammock,and the hammock space its a little bit hot because no fans,but you have your own plug and WiFi it’s quite fast. Location it’s a little bit far from the city center,but ok for that price. Really close to Warung Lotek Pak Mul,an small street food place where you can try the best Lotek (Gado Gado) that I ever tried in Indonesia. You can search it on google by that name.

Via Via is a place where you can feel at home while knowing that you are supporting the local community. The place is basic, but there are small details that make it unique. The staff is extremely helpful and organized, and the place is clean and peaceful even though it is located in a busy street in Yogya. The activities they organize are a wonderful and easy way to explore the area, but you could also do it on your own for a lower price.

I do not really understand the previous reviews. the hotel was great, good value for money. maybe a bit outdated but it was cheap and the breakfast was simple but good (nasi goreng with coffee by the pool). The location is great as its close to many bars and restaurants. hoghly recommended

The hotel has a large parking lot inside & out because they use the whole ground floor for parking. I booked 2 Standard rooms for my family and niece. The room is clean, hot water running well & safe (it cannot get to hot), and the staffs there are very nice & welcoming. The breakfast is also good, even though they only served 2 menus but different everyday and the taste is good The downside are no cabinet in the room, no kettle and dispenser in dining room doesn't work for hot water. You can only get wifi signal in the lobby, but considering its price those downside are acceptable.

The homestay has a nice garden. Very clean everywhere. Our room was big and has an air conditioner. We didn't figure out how (if possible) to get a warm shower though. The breakfast (paid extra) was basic but clean and delicious.

I stayed in the dorm room. Its perfect for solo travellers - cheap and best. Location is amazing because you have quite good cafes and restaurants hardly 5 minutes away. All the tours to Borobudur, Prambanan and other tourist attractions can be booked from hotel itself. Staff is super friendly. One of the hotel guy named Dito personally took me to Ulun Sentalu Museum in Kaliurang area because there were to tours available to that place. That was really sweet. Overall, I had a nice stay.

The room was advertised with a bathtub... It certainly didn't have one. When we asked for another room they said they were all full. Not the best first impression but at least they were smiley and friendly. Relatively clean although in the morning we found a dead cockroach in the bathroom, I guess it's very difficult to prevent them from getting in the room when you are on the ground floor. I would definitely stay there again as it was a very cheap option, clean and with friendly staff. Just a basic place to spend your night and nothing more. Location wise was very nice. On the first parallel street there were loads of nice restaurants and cafes (as well as pricier hotels).

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our room was great, we even had a small veranda. Free breakfast which was good and filling, free snacks too which were served in our room. When we left early for the sunrise tour they packed food for us. You can also book tours in the hotel for an affordable price. Near lots of restaurants and pubs too. Best of all the staff were kind and friendly. Would definitely book this place again when I return to Jogja. More than your money's worth!

The hotel was located in the heart of the tourist area Prawirotaman. It was not difficult to get around but I felt it would be better to stay at the other area Sosrowijayan, which was in the north and close to the attractions such as Borobudor and Prambanan. Anyway it was quite a peaceful and laid-back place. The staff in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Whenever I had questions or requests, they tried their best to help me. They even offered me free souvenir if I filled up their questionnaire. On my last night, I was trying to confirm my cab booking for my early morning flight. The staff on duty couldn’t speak English but he tried his best to help and called his colleague. I got up at 4 AM and he prepared breakfast! One bad thing that I didn’t expect was that the standard room didn’t have hot water. Only the ambassador rooms had it. You can say it’s my fault that I didn’t check thoroughly when I booked the room. But it was really very surprising to find a room without that nowadays. Many local tourists stayed in this hotel and they woke up very early and talked quite loudly. No offense but that really affected my sleep. The room was basic but clean. The toilet often had problems but the staff came and solve the problem quite quickly. There was wifi. Breakfast was really good!

Hot shower inside the room, breakfast with ftuites, rice and toasts with coffee in the center of Yogyakarta I think is already more than enough for their cheap price. After this I closed my eyes on dirty old room wich need to be improve its appearance. By the way they cleaned it perfectly immediately when I asked for room clean. Also staff is very friendly, really helpful and have a good sense of humour. I enjoyed socializing with em. Recommend

A perfect place to stay. Quiet spot within the city centre with excellent infrastructure. Enough parking lots for motos and cars. AC worked well, big rooms with sitting areas outside. Only minus is that there is no hot water in the shower, a plus if you are tired after a long hike.

I book this for my mom. She is a bit disappointed since the hotel is old, and she stayed alone.

The hotel's location is great close to all you need to see around jogja. The breakfast served is good and the rooms were really clean. Stayed in room 2. The staff are super nice and will do their best to accomodate you. The price was much cheaper online than it was if we had to pay as walk ins, so we booked online. Would return to this place if back in jogja.

Very clean hotel. Arrived at 7am but was not allowed to check till 3pm. Service was ok. Good buffet breakfast selection. In the standard rooms, the toilet and bathroom are in the same room, so when you shower, everything gets wet! Large pool which was put into good use as it was quite hot in Yogya during our stay. Very good spa nearby the hotel which was cheap as well. Many tour booking outlets from which we booked to see the Ramayana Ballet while we were in town. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Grand Rosela!

We stayed at the Indah Palace for two nights. The staff were extremely nice and courteous, which was the biggest plus point for me. The location is a little from the main centre, but easy to get to by taxi or tuk-tuk. The rooms were nice and with standard facilities. The best facility of the hotel as a whole was the restaurant. Although the buffet breakfast is fine, I think you should try a bigger meal in the evening. We did so on the first evening and it was a lovely meal. In fact, the nasi goreng we ordered was the best of our whole trip to Indonesia.

hotel is relatively old and would need renovation, but the rooms were clean, staff pleasant and helpful and location good for walking sightseeing of the town. breakfast was ok, for other meals there were a number of good restaurants around within the walking distance from the hotel. neighbourhood was quiet, without heavy traffic on the street passing by the hotel.

Stayed for two nights here and the service was great. We had to depart early for a sunrise tour the next morning and the hotel packed a simple breakfast for us to bring along which was a really nice gesture. (Do inform the front desk staff if you would like to request for packed breakfast to go too) We were booked in the standard room and didn't realize that it does not come with a mini bar. Breakfast selections were good but the food was pretty average. There are several restaurants located near the hotel - I highly recommend "balebebakaran" restaurant which is located about 5-7mins on foot from the hotel. Super cheap indonesian food and super delicious! They do offer takeaway as well. :)

A good experience staying at RedDoorz properties across Indonesia or other country. Feel comfortable with the friendly staff, the room also linen and other amenities is totally clean. This price is really value of money. Will recommend to others for staying here. Good job!

We actually made a last minute booking for this hotel as the hotel we stayed at previously came with a lot of problems. Upon arrival at Tune, we were dismayed that the hotel had a power blackout and the power would only be back on in an hour's time. Killing time, we swam at the small pool that the hotel had. When the staff managed to get the power up and running, we proceeded to the room. Being a no frills hotel, we came with no expectations, only for the hotel to be clean, which they delivered. Room was clean, toilet shower was amazing, overall a very good hotel to stay at. Only downside is that it is quite far away from any shopping malls. We frequented Jogja City Mall which was a 25min taxi ride away (approx IDR 50,000). Staff however were amazing. They remembered us by name and were very attentive to our needs. We had a few questions and even though they tried their best to answer, they didn't end there. To get the correct answer and come back to us, that is effort, which is what they did. Anywhere else, the staff could have just carried on with their activities. Kudos to the staff. One issue though, is the breakfast. It was horrible. Salty, lack of choices, you name it. It wasn't an international buffet where you have a spread of choices, it was just a few food storage shells and horrible food within. Not recommended if you have a thing for hotel breakfasts. Overall, if you are looking for a clean, affordable place to stay (get your own breakfast), I would recommend Tune.

Great location with several food options near by but the rooms are in need of updating and there is no sink or hot water in the bathroom. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Fairly cheap and great location. The staff was very helping to show me how to get around. Definitely will stay here again whenever I need to fly to Jogja.

We absolutely loved this place! Staff were fantastic, very friendly and did they best to accommodate us! Our phone didn't work and we needed to book a table at a restaurant so one of the ladies did that for us, we went on a tour and had to leave before breakfast time so they prepared us a packed breakfast at 3am! The room was big, very clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was also clean, shower was good but water temperature was difficult to control as it came really hot or really cold, and it also wasn't draining very well so we ended up with a puddle in bathroom. The pool was also nice, the hotel was quiet when we were there so was lovely. The breakfast is absolutely amazing!! You can have american option of coffee, fresh juice, concentrated juice, milk, cereal, eggs, French toast or normal toast and fruit. Or you can have Indonesian option with all the same drinks and fruit, then noodle soup or fried rice.

We moved get after spending one night in another hotel. This was the perfect location, we had worried that it was too far from the main part of town, but actually it was ideal. They're are so many cafes and restaurants nearby, and it's only a 5 minute walk to the bus stop to go further afield. The pool was also exactly what we needed after a hot day in Jogja! I would definitely stay here again, the room was clean, staff were friendly and attentive and the breakfast was great. When we had to leave early for the airport, a breakfast to go was made for us.

Only stayed two nights, but the manager in charge couldn't have been more helpful, securing me a driver to see all the sights starting at 0530, despite not having arrived until 11pm the night before. Clear professional, with experience. Other staff v helpful, but with less English/experience. Hotel has a lovely retro Art Deco design, which makes it look more like a 4 star than 3 star hotel. Good location for the 'back-packer' bars etc, though possibly not the 'scene' it's intended clientele would be after. Balconies in those rooms look inward on the pool, and are nice to relax on, of an evening.

Our stay was worth every penny. wait untill u see the room. The room was really nice and tidy. There was a nice balcony too. These was very suitable for family too. But the water heater didnt work well most of the time. But we really enjoy our stay and it was located near city centre too. It was a really nice stay overall. I would recommend this for my friends/relatives and surely will go staying on this hotel for next visit to Jogja

It's a bit hard to find, located in an alley. We used taxi from the airport and the driver didn't know where to go so we have to call the hotel couple of times. They provide good breakfast, free tea and coffee. Clean and comfy and homey and the super nice staffs were really helpful and friendly. The owner born in France but truly an Indonesian, loves Yogyakarta with all his heart. We also can rent motorbike from the hotel, cheap and easy. We had a great time.
