Recommended Hostel”
One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Location was really close to the main tourist areas. E.g. Bui Vien (backpackers street). The staff were really friendly, attentive and helpful. The bed is super comfy. Definitely had good sleep. Would stay here again for sure when I visit Ho Chi Minh again.

Perfect hostel in great location with lovely staff”
We had initially booked 3 nights here but ended up staying for 9. We had 2 beds in a 4 bed dorm. The room was clean, comfortable beds, good air con and there was smalll lockers available for valuables. The staff at the hostel are very helpful especially Thu who is super friendly and always so happy to try and help you. The location is superb. The hostel is away from any noise as it’s situated down a small side street but you are only a few minutes walk away from Walling Street with all the bars, places to eat and nightclubs etc. As it’s down a side street it can be a little difficult to locate for the first time. I’ll definitely use La Saigon hostel again when I’m back in HCMC

Excellent!”
Stayed here for only a night with my friend at their dorm because our first hostel has no available room for our one night extension. This hostel was really great! I loved their common room though they don't have an elevator. The staff were great, always smiling and saying hi haha. Also the lady owner of this hostel was nice and very attentive. She let us leave our bags after check out so we could go have lunch and shop at Ben Thanh. The room was nice, the bed was big enough for one person, aircon was great, i love their blanket I wish i could bring it home haha. Though the hostel was kind of hard to find because it is located inside a compound and has a small sign. But the location was great, just a minute walk from bus stations and backpackers area. Also, I wish the bathroom was a bit bigger.

I have really good experience at the hostel, gia was nice and friendly staff, I was unwell for a day and she helped me with medicines and fruits and stuff, so caring. I felt at home. they clean the rooms quite often. I would definitely stay here again if I go to Saigon. total value for money

Great place”
Central location in district 1. Close to food, bars, the backpacker region. You will arrive to an alley and if your new to Vietnam you might get a little shock but don't worry the actual hostel is clean and perfect!

I stay in this hostel for 2 nights.The room is clean and big，and the staffs are helpful.Working to Phan Ngu Lao street spend about 2mins.And they also help me booked a bus ticket to Mui Ne.I will live here again if I stay in Saigon.

Great place, but...”
Excelent place. Super clean, bed very comfortable, pleasant room. The price is good, but you can find other great places for the same price (or $1 more) that offer breakfast. Location is excellent. Walking distance from main attractions in Saigon. And it's super quiet. The roof top has potential - but we couldn't really enjoy because that's where staff dries sheets. The BUT is that we confirmed 2 nights but got there and where informed we couldn't stay the second night because someone booked it through Booking at the same time. A little disappointing at first, but we managed to find another fantastic place (Cozy House) just 800m away.

I totally recommend La Hostel in HCMC. Location is perfect, rooms are nice and clean and above all staff is super friendly and helpful. One of the best hostels I visited in Southeast Asia!

Overall a nice experience”
Hostel was a little bit hard to find especially at night. Rooms were clean and okay but looked like a little bit old. Staff were accommodating, helpful and very nice people. We booked our Cu Chi Tunnel-Mekong River tour through them without any hassle. Fast to reply to my email inquiries. Made our stay comfortable and peaceful. We got what we paid for. Not that expensive especially for budget travellers.

Nice quiet hostel, convenient and well priced”
Pros: right in the middle of District 1, but it is in an alleyway and is surprisingly very quiet. You don't hear any noise from the outside when you're in the dorm. Great value for money. Cons: The beds were very creaky. Bathroom is useable but very basic. Hot water takes a minute or so to heat up. Sink was very very small and a bit hard to use. There is no locker. Just a few drawers and commodes. Conclusion: not bad if you need to stay for a couple of nights, but if you are staying longer, I recommend looking for a nicer hostel in the same price range.

A good place to stay in Saigon”
A very good and economical place to stay at the heart of Saigon. Staff are very friendly and location is very near in all city attractions. However, the toilet room is somehow narrow. Good ventilation. Will check in here again.

Here are some of the things i'd like to point out why I gave them 5 stars: ✔️Good service - the people are so nice. Thwy clean the room everyday. ✔️English speaking receptionist - this is a must here in Vietnam ✔️Towels for each guest ✔️Toiletries - they have toiletries except for soap but that's okay since we only paid 200/head/day ✔️Working bidet ✔️Hot or cold shower ✔️Fast and free wifi ✔️Good location 10 minutes walk to ben than market and 5 minutes walk to Buy Vien ✔️Cheap - like I said, 200php/head/day and their bed is thick for bunk beds ✔️Late check in accepted. We arrived at 1am ✔️Clean ✔️They do laundry service ✔️Lockers - they have lockers for your important things. You just need to bring your own lock. I suggest, if you're planning to get wasted, just leave your passport in the locker. ✔️24 hour reception service. Plus the place is secured. Upon check-in they will give you 2 keys. 1 for the door in your room and 1 for the main gate since they lock the gate at night.

Great”
I showed up late because my flight was delayed four hours. The gentleman that checked me in (Khoi) was more than helpful and not only helped me switch rooms when I asked at the last minute, but also gave me some good information on stuff to see the next couple days. He also let me know the local ins and outs, such as how much I should pay for things so I wouldn't get ripped off and where to watch out for scams and such. Not only that, but after I came in a couple times after being out he (hopefully not against his will) chatted with me and was a pleasure to just hang out with. The location is also great, maybe a five minute walk to the backpacker district. All in all, all the staff was very nice and friendly and I highly recommend this place.

A nice place with great people ”
The location is super nice, it's quiet and close to each everything. The hostel is nice comfortable and clean, nothing special to say about it but it worth the money. What makes the difference between this hostel and others I tried is the staff. The night staff was funny and nice, and the owner is incredibly nice. She is caring and so kind. People there are speaking English (for all the staff I met at least) and they really take there time for any question you may have. So I recommend if you want a place to feel welcome :)
