Beautiful boat, friendly staff, very organised”
Great experience. I booked 2 night, 3 days which I would recommend, having the extra full day means you see a lot more of the islands. I also booked the return transfer to Hanoi via limo bus and it was very well organised, and the buses were very comfortable. Once on the boat, the itinerary was provided on a piece of paper so you knew the timing of activities/what to wear bring. Staff were very friendly. The room was stunning, the only thing to note is there is no bathroom door, just a blind. I was travelling solo so it didn't bother me, but may bother some people sharing . I was also upgraded to the la Regina Grand boat for my second night due to maintence on the legend, they even gave me a room upgrade! The process of changing boats was seamless & it was nice to experience both boats. Food was good on both boats - very similar. Only real difference in food from Regina to Grand is the breakfast on Grand you could get eggs to order - this wasn't available on legend.

Gorgeous sites, lot of energy, nice staff and boat. Activities timed so if you go for a 1 night trip and you want to see/do what's offered, you have activities nicely packed... 40 mins kayaking, 20 mins swimming behind the boat (great moment), visit of cat ba cave... A good option if you don't have much time and want to see ha long bay without having to worry about organization... Ha long bay is amazing

What a Cruise, absolutely the best of the best”
You can see the other boats when you are leaving the bay, and when you arrive at La Regina, you understand you are in another league not comparable to any other company. The service is out of this world, special shoutout to Lilian who made the trip just perfect. The food was just too good, and the evening BBQ was epic. The activities outside the boat are ok, but it is what it is, the bay is getting dirtier and dirtier, and I didn't see anyone trying to clean it up.

Being a vegetarian (no meat, no egg, no fish, no chicken etc.), La Regina Legend Cruise took care of my mother and my dietary needs very well. The Ship was in a good condition and the Princess Suite was very well made - clean, hygienic, spacious. The Ship Manager/ Hotel Manager Mr. Duy was a gracious host - very entertaining, very informative and helpful. The only Con was that the journey from the Bay to the Ship in a speedboat is quite long and it feels like it takes away a lot of the distance you would ideally want your cruise to move.

Better opt for the transport from Hanoi city by La Regina. Very smooth trf to and from hanoi. Staffs were extremely good and the view is spectacular. Top few cruises in the Halong bay area and its worth it. 2d1n may be a little short to enjoy the stay, better w the 3d2n which i chose. Do not expect city lifestyle, its really meant for relaxing w the views and slower pace of life on the cruise. 5stars for sure

Going to Halong bay is a must. The beauty you wake up to and sleep to is unexplainable. But I realised staying in the cruise for 2D and 1N is alot if you are not in a big group. Also all activities for a short stay are back to back up from the minute that you check in. Kind of gets tiring. But the cruise, the staff and the rooms all were amazing

Golf for the price”
when you arrive to the port they take you in a small motor boat to the cruise (30 minutes trip). Once in the cruise there are a lot of activities but I suggest you just do one of the tours and then enjoy of the cruise which is very nice. Food is good. Staff is very friendly. My room bath did not worked and the shower water was or too cold or too hot. Those are my only two complaints. All the rest was Excellent! I would repeat!

Very impressive ship”
Halong area is incredibly stunning and this ship hotel only underscored it. There isn't much to complain about as you are on vacation and relaxed but I would like to mention two things. In the first place is the lack of information flow to the guests and the second very, very poor knowledge of English, both in understanding and in pronunciation. Considering the price you pay for two nights, it is a pity that these shortcomings are no longer taken care of.

The whole trip was as per the itinerary. The room was nice and comfortable. Water during the shower was only lukewarm when turned to max hot. One needs to top up for drinks during meals except for breakfast.
