This is the first time I choose to stay near West Lake, the area is nice, quiet & relaxing. The hotel is exceptional clean & staffs are friendly. Would definitely recommend.

This place was close enough to the main hub of markets and a short taxi ride if you didn’t want to walk (about $1-$2 Aud) A quiet street but with several great restaurants and coffee shop next door!! The place was clean and you wouldn’t find a more accomodating Manager (Anna) and staff. They went above and beyond customer service and were happy to help with everything. Am going back for more dental work and will definitely be staying here again!!

Mid range hotel with very helpful staff”
Located in the Hanoi old quarter. Most hotels in this area are very small in size. However, their strength is in the very courteous, obliging, and ever smiling staff. They arranged day tours through Wati travels. Offers a good breakfast, and we enjoyed our four day stay very much. The downside is that the hotel is located in a place far from shopping areas and restaurants.

the bathroom was a bit dark as there were no bright lights fitted and quite congested. wifi was good. breakfast was good with varieties. one can walk around the hotel as there is a lake and also lot of eateries around. good value for money

Staff were fantastic and extremely helpful but the location is not great and there was never a chef so no lunch or dinner available or room service! So didn’t feel like I got everything I payed for.

No including breakfast as advertised on Agoda. I got told that service is stopped since covid pandemic but Agoda not updated, water in bathroom is very weak, it took me a while to get done shower. Entrance wasn’t tidy enough, the 6 hours stayed should have explained better in agoda, stuffs are nice tho.

Most of the elements of the room that I had stayed in were satisfactory. However, for the price that had been paid, I was disappointed by the lack of hot shower water. I visited over the last week, when temperatures in Hanoi had dropped to 10 degrees (and lower at night). For a hotel like this, you would expect that hot water in the bathroom is essential - but after standing in the shower for 2 minutes, the hot water fizzled out and turned freezing cold. After enduring perhaps the shortest shower of my life, I gave a quick call to the reception, who said they would send someone up to check. Upon checking, I was told that the hotel had a very old water heater system that only provided up to 5 minutes of hot water (and this was with the tap on moderate flow). This meant that I was left with no choice but to bathe with a trickle of hot water - something I could live with, but certainly not something I expected given the price of the hotel.

Disappointing staff”
To go to the hotel I took a taxi that charged me over three times the normal amount. I refused to pay the full amount and agreed to pay the normal price. The taxi driver followed me inside the hotel and harassed me in front of the staff. The staff admitted that the taxi driver was trying to cheat me but they did not stop the driver from harassing me inside the hotel. The staff (several men) should have kicked him out but they did not. Very disturbing and shameful behavior from the staff.

Wonderful experience”
We had such a pleasant time in Hanoi, thanks to La Sante Hotel. The hotel was new, so all facilities were still in excellent condition. The staff was friendly, but not over-caring, so they made us feel very comfortable and at home. It was located near the Old Quarter and Long Bien bridge, and surrounded by a lot of Hanoi's famous local eateries. Within the walking distance from the hotel was Cha Ca La Vong and Home restaurant. We especially loved La Sante Spa: Ms. Xuyen, our masseuse, gave us the best hot stone massage I have ever had. I will definitely come back for a second stay at La Sante hotel.
