Lovely hotel, great location”
I was on a business trip & had work to do so didn't venture far, but it was an easy walk from the station and close to town. The room was really nicely done & clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful & the food at the attached pub was great.

Very pleased with the Hotel - a good choice”
The Lace Market Hotel was very nice and we were pleased we chose it as it was very convenient for our visit to a concert at the Motorpoint Arena. The staff were very helpful and the facilities were fine for what we wanted. There are two small and two large car parks a short walk from the hotel - we managed to get a space in the nearest one which is in the same street. The bed was very comfortable and there was no excessive noise to keep us awake or wake us too early. The only area of real improvement needed is in the breakfast restaurant area, where a system needs to be put in place to properly manage service - as it was a bit chaotic and a little slow - but the breakfast itself was very nice and there was a very good choice of options available either via self service or via the menu. We would stay there again if they were to make the breakfast service more polished.

This room was all we could get in Nottingham because the test match was on. It was expensive but it was a huge room with two wash basins and a large bath. In a very convenient location near to excellent pubs with not much noise.

Lovely room, however you could wait a while at the reception”
The room was lovely, clean and I had a good night's sleep. The coffee/tea selection was the best I've seen in a hotel for a while. I would definitely stay here again. However, I was bit disappointed with the reception side of the stay. When I checked in, I waited a while for someone to check me in. When I went to check out, no one was at the reception. I pressed the reception bell. It rang. I waited a few minutes, and still no one showed at the reception. In the end I just left my key at the reception.

Great location shame about the room”
Special birthday treat and know the area well. Unfortunately the room was disappointingly small and the window didn't open. I guess as it's a historic building but it was warm even on a January night. Ceiling fan and portable fan provided but didn't help. Couldn't see the view of the church because of condensation. Breakfast OK. Staff excellent Have stayed other places with more space.

Not for sleeping. ”
We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. When we arrived we thought we had made a really good choice. The Studio Suite was lovely, spacious, clean and plenty of windows. However it was the windows which were the problem, they didn’t keep out any of the outside noises. Unless you are a very heavy sleeper you have no chance of sleeping. They definitely need soundproofing. There was loud noises all night. Might as well sleep with the windows open.

Delightful Visit”
I have recently enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Lace Market Hotel and found the whole experience to be thoroughly enjoyable. The hotel is staffed with young people who are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Room was very nice, bed a delight, and the bathroom quirky and very well equipped. Breakfast a treat, room overlooked gorgeous church and the food choice extensive. Delightful chap and young lady serving made it very special. If you like modern, funky with first class service would not hesitate to recommend, I will BE COMING AGAIN VERY SOON. With many thanks Vicki Gell

Staff Customer Service really shines”
We enjoyed our stay at the Lace Market hotel, but what stood out beyond everything else was how helpful everyone at the front desk was. Americans are told not to expect the same level of service in other countries, but the front desk would have exceeded my expectations at home too. We probably interacted with 4-5 people a few times each and they always went out of their way to take care of every little whim for us. Thank you guys for helping a jetlagged and ill-prepared couple have a wonderful stay!

Staff and Breakfast”
The staff are very friendly and do make all the effort to customise as per your needs, as much as possible. The breakfast was so good. I would go back to have this wonderful breakfast in that tastefully decorated hall. The location is city centre and walking distance to the theatres, castle, shopping mall, car parks and supermarkets open till 11 pm. The hotel is next to St Mary's and the Justice Museum. There is also an exhibition centre nearby. Many other attractions within walking reach. Also, the tram stop is handy.

Got a last minute deal which made it good value for money. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Central location in a nice street but not noisy. Room was a bit too hot, that is my only negative. Would definitely stay again.
