Me and my partner stayed for 1 night, I booked a few months ago and looking at the pictures it looked beautiful, the rooms looked spacious and in a perfect location. Unfortunately when we arrived, even though I had booked a while back, our room was Tiny, we were put in an attic room and then found we had no shower. I know this sounds odd but being a couple who showers rather than bathes and with being in and out all day and eve this wasn't appropriate for us. I made a complaint to the receptionist as I had not been asked me preferences nor was I made aware. There were no rooms to move us too but we were offered a full refund if we wanted to go elsewhere. However this is Bournemouth.... we arrived ar 2.40pm and had reservations at 3.30 in the town centre and then tickets for a show that evening, how on earth was I meant to find another hotel? So basically I felt a bit stuck there. The receptionist gave us a free bottle of prosecco as a gesture of good will which was well received! I still felt a bit sad about the room that I'd booked ages in advance and expected a big room like advertised. Another thing to do note is when I booked I chose the option to pay at the hotel, to find the money was intact taken from my bank the day before arrival. It was very lucky I had money in this account! I also noticed the top of the bath panel was a bit grubby and dusty. Overall I'd rate my stay a 3/5 mainly for the location and receptionist. But the room and amenities I wasn't happy with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Langtry Manor Hotel. From the minute we arrived every member of staff we came in to contact with was attentive and helpful. We loved the feeling that the hotel has so much history and the family who now own it obviously take such pride in maintaining the property. The breakfast was delicous, there was a buffet for the cold food and the hot menu was cooked to order. Our bedroom was in the Lodge which is on the opposite side of the road, we did not find this a problem. The room was of generous size considering it was described as a small double. We look forward to returning very soon and would highly recommend this hotel.

Relaxing time in a beautiful manor”
Hi, our experience in the Langtry manor hotel was really good. The manor is lovely like you can see on the website. We stayed In the room with a jacuzzi, this was brilliant , the only issue was in the morning, because we were close to the kitchen, it's quite noisy! Otherwise great hotel
