I enjoyed my stay in Lanna Palace as usual. Great location and easy access to every where. ”
Good location, clean, and friendly. But the hotel should improve to update their telephone in the room, TV set and electricity light bulb.

Not what I booked”
On arrival I was given a twin room though I ordered a double bed, my request had been previously confirmed. The receptionist told me that there were no other rooms left. I showed her the confirmation from the hotel and was told this came from AGODA., however the name on the email was of the room manager of the hotel. When I pointed this out to her she was not pleased and told me to wait!! About ten minutes later she came back and I was given the requested room. I asked about breakfast which was available for THB270, I declined as there are café's around which serve a full BF from THB 80 -100 Baht. Overall the stay was pleasant and I will return.

Good Value and Near Sites”
Overall a fair value for the money although the rooms need some refurbishing and are getting a little on the old side. Breakfast was basic but just fine and the staff was very helpful with all my requests. About a 10-15 minute walk to Night Market and many good multi-ethnic restaurants nearby.

Back In Time ”
This hotel was very retro/nostalgic. It looks like it has been in a time capsule for 40 years. That being said, it was very clean, the rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. Definitely a great deal.

Acceptable”
Just don't go there. The hotel is neglected. Very low shower for days before I arrive. I call and no one answers. It turns out that the phone is broken and they don't fix it. Too bad it could be much better.

Good value for the price”
This is the third time we have stayed at Lanna Palace. The price is right, rooms clean, has everything we like in a room -safe, hot water kettle, free Wifi in the room, etc. The breafast could used an upgrade, but for the price -- it's fine. Staff is friendly, helpful and English is good. We'll stay there again.

Great location. Good wifi. Clean. ”
great location. good wifi. clean. a bit oldish. but good value for money. 5 minutes walk from night bazaar. very calm environment. hotel stuff very friendley and check in and out was so smooth. no cash deposit needed. if u look for luxury look somewhere else but fit the price u pay and the location it's perfect. chiang mai city and the tours around are amazing i would recommend a very good local tour guide that will take u wherever u want to go for a very good price and amazing service. what we manage to see and do in two days with him we couldn't do with all group tours.

Value for the money”
I've been in Lanna Palace for few occassions, conference and this time, a last minute switch to this hotel. I can say it is very much value for the money! The staffs are friendly and helpful. The restaurant provides good buffet lunch with the price you can not imagine! It takes fifteen minutes walk to the night marker or costs you 50-60 bahts bu tuk-tuk. Swimming pool is not well maintained and needed improvement. We stayed in the corner room and with both side windows with spectacular view to the mountains and the other side to the city. We absolutely enjoyed our one-day stay in this hotel. Improvement can be done to the channels of TV as well as the wifi in room!

Lanna Palace Hotel”
Lanna Palace hotel, is quite good by location, not very near to the night bazaar but walkable distance. Many dining outlets near by. The rooms was quite big and not bad but not so new. All in all, it was a nice stay

walk anywhere quickly”
Lanna is located with very easy walk access to the major areas of Chiang Mai. 5 minutes to Night Market, 15 minutes to the moat and things to see along the way. Restaurants every where,,,more booze than you drank in the last 20 years.

Hotel at economical rates with spacious rooms”
Good service. We checked in at 10:00 a.m. and the staff was courteous to provide us the room with good views of the streets below. Although the hotel is old, they have maintained the cleanliness thoroughly. The room was clean and spacious with necessary amenities provided. Some of the equipment or furniture in the room was outdated or used over a long period of time, but one shouldn't complain given their low prices. The hotel staff informed us that all their rooms are non-smoking which is a boon for us non-smokers. You can smoke in the outdoor parking area though. Book on line to enjoy their special rates.

Cool hotel”
Great room although walls a bit thin! Helpful staff and friendly and welcoming! Pity there is not a restaurant for evening meals! Not in a great part of Chiang Mai but convenient for what we were doing. Very clean and easy to keep room cool. A treat in having a bath! The swimming pool is very strange being on the second floor and surrounded by traffic noise! A first for me!

Decent Hotel on the Outskirts of City Center”
Overall the hotel was a good value. It's about a km from night bazaar and other city attractions, so plan on tuk-tuk or motorbike rental to get around - that was the only real downside; we normally stay right near the market - Centara, Surigwan, etc. but they were all fully booked. The hotel was in fairly good shape considering it had some age to it. Our room was clean and did not have any of the typical Thai smells that you can find in some of the other old high rise hotels in the City. Breakfast was decent, but not outstanding. As minor as it may seem, the water pressure and temperature in the shower were awesome! Everything in the room worked properly, including good A/C and the WiFi reception was reliable. Price was respectable. mid-7s on the rating is about right. Would stay here again. No real highlights on staff performance come to mind - except to say that the parking lot attendant runs a real tight ship and took good care of our auto!

Very clean hotel”
Very nice and clean hotel. It is very close to the markets and the rates are good for the service. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a good view of the mountains from the room. The in room service was quite good and reasonably priced. We just hired the Tuk Tuk to go to the markets and the local clothing shop.It is centrally located. There is a massage place just outside the hotel which was very cheap after a long day walking, a good massage was at the doorstep.
