hostel price and resort feeling”
Lanta Hostel give a relieved , no rush reception feeling when you just arrived. Give you detailed facility introduction. The shower room is spaces and super important no sand in ground when you step in. You could put your cloth, makeup pack, tooth paste in a cabinet near sink. They also provide locker to protect your passport. You could control the A.C. room temp as your prefer. When you take a nap, you could ask them to provide a helf hour A.C. and later with fan is so sweet. There are several trash cans along corridor and always keep clean. Much more than you could imagine ,they also notice sun to let my shoes dry quickly outside, just like your family. The tile paving and beautiful pool is as same as other resort. Why not pay hostel price and have a resort feeling +family like environment?

I had good stay in Lanta Hostel. They have nice and cozy living room upstairs where they serve coffee, tea and water. They can book you tours and transportation. They have scooter rental. Owners are really friendly and polite. Recommend this place.

Good Stay”
Very clean, modern hostel with welcoming Thai couple who run the facility. Hang out area upstairs is ok just be aware you can smoke up there. The bonus is you get to use the pool in the resort next door which is awesome.

Great place for a long stay”
Stayed here for 5 nights and it was perfect for a group of 4 having a room all to ourselves. The AC got really cold during the hours it was on which was perfect and turned off at fair times. Staff was good with most requests. Cost of add-ons can add up if you don’t have them. Overall good place to have an extended Koh Lanta stay.

Great hostel”
This hostel must be given the respect that it deserves. Mr Sombat, the owner of the hostel, has strived to establish a top quality accomadation for those backpacking or travelling on a budget. We had arrived to find out that the hostel had only been open for one week. The interior is well decorated in a contemporary, modern fashion. The doorms are also good and what is even better, is the cleanlieness of the bathroom and toilet. Wifi is one of the fastest we've had at a hostel. The entire hostel is cleaned every day including the dorms. What is even better is the fact that the owner allows his guests from the hostel to use the excellent swimming pool facility in his neighbouring resort. We were able to rent bikes from the reception and dealt with changing one of them. Overall this is a great hostel experience and visitors should not be put off by the fact that it is new and has few reviews up till now.

Clean and new hostel”
This hostel is right across the road from Khlong Khong beach. The hostel is new, clean and the beds are comfortable. The There is a 7-Eleven about 10 minutes up the road and there are plenty of food option around. If you are looking for a party hostel, this is not it. Also they don’t provide towels so bring your own.

You can use the pool of the next door hotel. They have a balcony where you can chill. Only problem I had here is bedbug or some bugs that bit me in the night.

All that glitters is not gold”
All that glitters is not gold, said Shakespeare once. A good description for this Hostel. Objectively this Hostel may seem nice and super modern for its price ( thats how most of us booked it). But unfortunately this Hostel was a disgrace. It starts when you arrive right at the desk. You have to almost justify and fight for your confirmed reservation, absolutely annoying. The other thing is the attitude towards most of us. Really unfriendly and super arrogant. So when problems occur for example a shirt was missing in the laundry they did not even care. We had to ask several times for a 2 days..Im glad that i left there. Hope you dont make the same mistake. Dont get blinded by this property like i said: All that glitters is not gold :)

Price is good, the hosts are super friendly and the facilities included are great. The common area is super chill to work or just relax and having access to a resort pool is something I never expected from a hostel.

Well placed and clean”
Friendly hostel, cleaned each day. Female toilets and showers well maintained. Coffee available till midday, breakfast available to buy until midday. No hot water after that, but cold, filtered water available. Two communal areas, one in upstairs loft with work space and comfy seating, the other outside. Both are smoking areas. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bikes available to hire and travel tickets to buy. Use of pool in next door resort.
