hotel is very well managed , location ,service and ambience cannot be faulted . enormous choice of tv channels and all working .unique.restaurant/bar location 100% .my actual room also could not be bettered (on the beach )from the hotel a wide range of services can be reached by foot in 2 mins , but no need to exit .

Although the room was very basic (but at the price we paid we accept that), no kettle and slat windows (buy mosquito spray). The rest was excellent! Great pool, great beach, great staff, and great massages by the beach. Would absolutely stay again but maybe upgrade our room

Great location but rooms need some serious work”
The location of the resort is lovely, and the property is beautiful too. Our room was a 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach which was lined with laid back restaurants and pubs. However the rooms are not that great. Firstly the wifi barely works at all. It connects for two minutes, and them disconnects again for ten minutes. The rooms are not properly sealed off, and that means a lot and I mean a lot of mosquitoes will be visiting you in your room. There is some problem with the plumbing of the bathroom, due to which there was a funky smell in the room at all times. Their was almost no staff around the property and seemed deserted most of the time. So great location, but would not recommend the rooms.

Wonderful island paradise”
This is a wonderful bungalow type resort right on. Klong Dao beach - the best beach on Koh Lanta. The staff are very friendly and understand English very well. There are many restaurants close by on the street or on the beach. There are beautiful gardens surrounding the bungalows. We booked for 4 nights originally, but stayed for 2 weeks.

Lanta island resort is a great hotel, with bungalow under the shadow, near the beautiful beach of klong dao. We spent 5 days in the resort for Christmas time. This is perfect place to relax in couple or with family. The hotel is near restaurant and spa and not far from Saladan for more night activities. The staff is really nice and can arrange eveything for you! I really recommand this place!

Great Stay, Gorgeous Place”
After my initial 2-night stay at a subpar resort further down the beach, I was delighted with Lanta Island. I booked two nights and checked in rather early. My bungalow was right by the pool but I had no noise complaints, it was a 2-minute walk through the resort to the beach, and the beachfront lounge chairs and restaurant were perfect. The bungalow wasn't flashy, but it had everything I needed. There were lots of families around, but the atmosphere was still very relaxing and tranquil. The staff were very attentive and helped me book a ferry ride back to Krabi, although the bus I was promised never came so I had to take a tuk-tuk to the ferry station. I was also disappointed that the business station computers were all under repair, as I was counting on being able to use one. Luckily there was an internet cafe only minutes away. Overall, I had a great stay and wish that I had had more time to spend there!

lanta island resort is a great place to stay if you are looking for somewhere affordable right on the beach. we stayed in a standard bungalow which in tucked away in a rainforest area, amongst the sounds of frogs and birds. it's a little loud at times but after a day in the sun, you usually sleep well regardless. the restaurant does excellent food at reasonable prices and there are massage and diving facilities within the property too. the rooms themselves could use a little tlc (the bathrooms especially) but the friendliness of the staff more than make up for that. it's within walking distance to saladan town (about twenty minutes). a tuk-tuk should cost you about 100 baht if you haggle a little.

Relaxed nice place, with nice Beach and Masagges”
a really nice located place in koh lanta, with a relaxed atmosphere. you can enjoy the meals and masagges just in fornt of the beach. the resort has a small pool, which is nice if you travel with kids. you can set lots of tours out of the resort. i was surprised about the excellent german food and the german hofbräuhaus beer wich is sold here - one of the official brands at oktoberfest -. lot of nature and trees around.

Beach Bungalows”
Firstly I would like to compliment the resort staff - they were very quick to respond to messages prior to our arrival and arranged an airport transfer as well as a ferry transfer onward to Ao Nang for us, which all went smoothly, so thank you! On to the resort, we booked a "beachfront bungalow", which really meant that it was nearest the beach, there wasn't actually a beachfront view out of the bungalow - but easy enough to wander down and find a deck chair. The resort seems to be located about in the middle of that stretch of beach, so plenty of options to find places to eat by either walking up or down the beach to check out some of the other resorts, or out on the main road. The resort ground are a bit sandy compared with a few others we saw, but they are probably more expensive too. The beachfront massages were great! Final point - the resort (and Koh Lanta in general) is full of cats! They are all friendly, and well fed by the look of it, but just letting you know!

we going with 4 adults and make a booking for 2 room. instead the owner upgrade our room with family deluxe beachfront. Awesome! we did have connecting door between us. i would say, the room is great and since i'm a beach lover, i highly recommended this place to you guys. you have beach bar. don't worry about the music. the volume are still acceptable. and most importantly, its peace and quiet at night. bad side : mosquitoes! lol. u can find almost every where there. not only at the resort almost most of the places in ko lanta. just ensure u have mosquitoes repellent with you.

Very nice place to stay. I hade good contct with the owner and her cats. The staff very good. The only negative remark whas the shower whas not so good otherwise I would recommend the Lanta Island Resort to my friends and family.

Decent Resort”
Lanta Island Resort kind of reminded me of a place that would be visited by Scooby Doo. It was nice enough, but seemed kind of past its heyday. We stayed in a standard bungalow, which was standard. It had air conditioning and a fridge, but no tv and you have to pay for wifi. The resort grounds themselves are really nice, with lots of greenery covering everything. The paths between bungalows are all shaded by the canopy, so it is pretty romantic. The pool was nice and the bungalows are all within about thirty second's walk of the sand, which is good. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was nice, but I feel like the resort was just a little bit too run down for the price. Still, not a bad option if your are looking for a quiet getaway.

Very good for Vacation”
Normal resort and do not expect a grand resort in Koh Lanta. At least, not this resort. However, I like this resort so much. Very clean and pretty environment. Comfortable place & room. Many interesting & lazy catsss there, they bring me lots of fun. Hope can improve the Wifi in future, not stable. Air-con is not stable too, sometimes cold or too warm.

the lanta island resort is good value for money. m it is not luxurious but is quite satisfactory; well maintained and well located. the pool is pleasant and the beach is nice. there are chaises longues at the pool but not at the beach. there is a good massage pavilion at the resort. the restaurant is ok but not exceptional.

No frills beach front hotel close to Ban Saladan”
I stayed at the Lanta Island Resort for two nights with a friend while traveling through the Andaman Sea islands. The Standard Bungalow that we stayed in was located right behind the hotel's pool, which is a couple hundred meters back from the actual beach front. The room and bathroom (non-separate shower) were decent and clean, though a few ants and a couple mosquitos found their way into our room. The beach that this hotel is situation on is frequented by many families as opposed to young singles or backpackers. Ban Saladan (where ferries drop off from Koh Phi Phi, Krabi, etc) is just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute tuk tuk ride away.

Superb resort and value”
Fantastic location on the beach just outside the busy town of Lanta. Staff were really friendly and the rooms were spacious and spotless. We ate from the BBQ on the beach for 3 nights and the food was great. Highly recommended
