Great clean hostel on long beach”
I thought this dorm which is attached to a resort property was great value, clean, comfortable, with 24hr air conditioning which is an appreciated reprieve from the lanta heat. This hostel has a pool and a 1 min walk down to the beach, there is a fridge available which is a great addition as most bungalow accom does not offer this. There is a veranda area (or pool )for the dorm to hang out however no other real area, which can be a little loud for sleepers inside if people stay up drinking on the veranda at night. The staff at reception have very limited English so at times it is a lot harder than it should be to find out ow to get around etc... The ladies will give exorberant prices for tours and are reluctant to barter, so it's much cheaper to get tours elsewhere. After exploring all the beaches the island has to offer, I believe long beach or Pra Ae is one of the best for not sustaining rock injuries. Should I revisit Koh Lanta I would definately stay here ! , the owner is a great guy to and is keen to here suggestions on improving the dorm. Also you can hire scooter for day to be returned at 8pm for 150baht at reception

Amazing hostel with the luxieries of a resort”
Lanta long beach hostel was amazing. The pool made me feel as I was at a expensive resort, very relaxing. The location was perfect, close to great restaurants/7-11 and much more. Rentals for bikes and tuk tuk through the front desk, which is necessary for exploring the island. Staff was very friendly. The dorm was huge, very spacious and great air con. As well as patio great for meeting your fellow roommates. Only one dorm room w/ten beds with resort bungalows all around, but you can use all their resort style activities just as if you were staying in the private bungalows. Beach is 1 min walk to watch amazing sunsets onto the water. The only down side were 1) finding it 2) shower water pressure. When arriving tell driver to take you to sunny house which is connected to the hostel and same reception, just very unclear because they didn't know lanta log beach hostel existed (it must be new). A must stay!!!

It was a last minute choice to visit the island Koh Lanta . Was searching a cheap place to sleep . Very surprised when I arrived . It is like a bungalow resort with swimming pool and 2 min walk to the beach . The staff is very very lovely and helpful ! I was feeling very good and happy there . Is a quiet place . Clean !!!You will never get these kind of service for the same price in other hotels / hostels . If I ever will go back to Thailand than only to Koh Lanta ❤️! Thanks again to the nice woman crew !!!

Great Pool”
Being that this is a new hostel, a lot of drivers have no clue where it is so ASK FOR SUNNY LANTA RESORT it is part of that property so you get to use their pool and the beach is a two minute walk away. Negatives; The showers are very weak, the air isn't great, the sink was a bit leaky. Positives; lockers for backpacks (you don't need a lock they give you a key) a safe right next to your bed, pool, close to the beach, nice hang out area in front, and you can't rent bikes from the property.

Great place right by the beach ”
This place was great for a few nights in Koh Lanta. It was only about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool was great to cool down after a long day. There were many restaurants nearby to enjoy. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly!

Excellent place to stay! ”
It has its own swimming pool. A short walk down an alley at the corner of the property and your on long beach. Lots of restaurants nearby on the main road. Kept very clean. The owner came over and chatted with is at night. The owner was not there when I checked in only his parents? Who don't speak much English but still managed to check in ok but didn't really know where the beach was or anything had to ask others in the room.

Backpacker luxury!”
Booked one night, stayed a week! This is one of the nicest "hostels" I've stayed in during 6 months of travelling! You have the benefits of a hotel with the cost of a hostel. When the cleaner comes she spends about an hour and it's spotless when she goes, seems she does this every 4th day with just a bin emptying in between which is a bit too long with 12 people bringing sand etc into the room but it's not exactly a major inconvenience. The only downside is the lack of English spoken at reception (but then I'm not in an English speaking country so important to give leeway!) and lack of general info. I'm not a fan of the lack of a fixed room rate-sometimes they ask 400, sometimes 350 & I get the impression you could probably haggle for less. It means everyone in the dorm will have paid different amounts for exactly the same room. Overall a top-notch hostel which I'd highly recommend :-)

Comfortable beds with privacy curtains, big lockers, individual lights, outlets, and electronic safes. The dorm was very clean and had a very chill laid back vibe. Not a party hostel! The pool was great, laundry service was good, and the hostel is maybe a 1 minute walk down a trail to the beach.

Clean and spacious dorm, with lockers and curtains. Clean bathrooms, nice outside chill area where people hang out in the evening. Very nice swimming pool and next to the swimmingpool there is a little alley which takes you to a big beautiful beach! Great atmosphere, you meet a lot of nice people:) also nice bars and restaurants very close to the hostel! I had an amazing stay!

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed! Amazing staff, so close to nice beach. Waned to stay 2 nights, ended up with 8 nights and still didnt want to leave! Many places to eat in the area. You can rent scooter in this hostel. I can only highly recomend this place!

Spacious dorm, privacy curtains, lockers, a/c, free simple breakfast (plus fridge for guests), use of pool and 3 minute walk to Long Beach. Family run and everyone was really nice. Would stay again.

The pool is great! ”
Felt a tad unwelcome in the beginning but soon changed. Beach has a few rocks but pool is great. Breakfast was not topped up and was empty for 2days which was a bit disappointing but the room is top notch, clean and new and the bathrooms are awesome. Hammocks to lounge on and tables to socialise. Hostel is far better than the bungalows. Food as restaurant was awesome and cheap. Great place to stay.

Amazing place to stay! Super clean with nice bathroom - showers, toilets and toilet papers :D Nice beds with curtains, lamp, power sockets and a digital safe! Also extra locker for rest of your stuff. A/C working all the time. In front of a dorm there is a nice common area with tables, chairs, hammocks also a fridge and some kitchen utensils. There is a swimming pool - nice and clean at the property and the best part - is just one minute from the beach. Owner is nice and very helpfull. I loved this place and I could stayed there much, much longer (I extend my stay anyway) Strongly recommend to visit! Marta

It has a nice pool, is a couple minutes walk to the beach, privacy curtains, A/C and is quiet. There is 7/11, good restaraunts and bars an easy walk away. Breakfast is just toast with butter and jam and coffee and tea but it's more than you have most places. The common area has a couple of hammocks and tables but make sure to bring the bug spray if you relax out there. Overall I had a great stay and would recommend it for solo travelers.

I loved this place. The beds are comfy, there's loads of room in the dorm and space outside to hang out, and a fridge to put your stuff in. The pool is an absolute winner and you're only a minute from the beach.

It gets cleaned every day. You can still have your private space with the curtains. Good place to meet fellow travelers to be friendly with. Close to the beach and pool. Close to 7 11 and nearby food places..

The place is great, just one minute walk from the beach. The dorm is really well furnished everything is new and the pictures don't lie (like in many other places we see around). Another very good thing is that there is a free bread and coffee breakfast. The only down side of my stay was that the swimming pool was very dirty and the wifi was not working in the dorm for the three days I was there. But overall I would still recommend.
