It was excellent for alot of reasons: the location is perfect for everything Hoi An has to offer (which is alot); the Old Town is a beautiful 5 min walk away; the Pottery Village and Palm River coconut boat ride places are close and a super cheap taxi journey away (ask the staff). This place is so central. Oh and ofcourse it has a great semi-indoor swimming pool to chill, drink prices are very very reasonable for a lazy poolside day... However the main thing that really stood out for us was the assistance of the staff. Inparticular the Operational Manager, MILE. Mile gave us all the inside tips and tricks for the area and even booked our sleeper bus to our next location, she gave us alot of advice. When I tried insistently to tip her, she refused and said she did it all from her heart. Thank you Mile and the whole team for making us so comfortable. And what a great place Hoi An is! A lovely hote, we will be back there next time!”
We spent 1 night in Lantana Hoi An last week. We stayed in the Deluxe Double and we're happy with the room. It's well decorated with the Indochine style, full amenities were provided and all the facilities are in good conditions. However, I thought that there would have been a bathtub in the bathroom but there's not. The hotel offers shuttle buses to the private beach which is so beautiful and clean. You definitely should go to the beach during your stay. Besides, we're very appreciated for what the staff did to us. It's my daughter's birthday on the check-out day and the staff surprised her (and us) by secretly prepared a cute birthday cake and brought it out when my daughter finished her breakfast, all the guest around sung the birthday song. A birthday cake may not be expensive, preparing it may not be complicated but it showed that you are truly kind, caring and love your job. My daughter keeps telling me that she wants to be back there in her next birthday. Thank you all!

We had an amazing stay at the Lantana Hoi An Boutique Hotel at the beginning of November. From the moment we were picked up at the Airport, to the moment we left the hotel, everything was excellent. All staff were extremely friendly and Sally and the team could not do enough for us. They were always attentive, gave great advice and recommendations, helped us to book trips etc. Our room had great facilities and was always kept spotlessly clean. There was a great range of food options for breakfast. The hotel was very conveniently located. We have already recommended this hotel to family and friends, and would love to go back again soon ourselves.

Wonderful Staff, Nice Location”
The walking streets of Hoi An are pretty intense and overflowing with tourists--especially at night. You are about a 10 minute walk away from this area, which makes it nice to be able to go in when you want and get away from it when you don't need it. The hotel sits over a little city canal--not much of a river feel to it--but it still gives a little space from your balcony to look out into emptiness rather than right up into a building or street. The staff here are super lovely and kind--always checking to see how you are and they remember every guest by name--which is really impressive. The rooms are nice and have everything you might need. You can rent bikes right from the hotel and they have a really nice breakfast. Overall, I would highly recommend this place.

Perfect hotel for a family holiday”
Lovely stay here at Lantana. They staff were super friendly and very accommodating - they couldn’t do enough for us! Especially when it came to our 3 month old baby :-) It’s in a great location too, a little bit out from the main town so you’re not disturbed but the noise and crowds at night, but less than a 5 minute walk and you’re there. The hotel was very comfortable too. Would happily recommend to others.

The place to stay in Hoi An”
The Lantana is a newer, traditionally designed small hotel with beautiful rooms and extraordinarily friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very clean and the facilities well equipped. The breakfast is expansive, large selection, well prepared and delicious. The location is right next door to the ancient town. We were very happy with the accomodations and location. We would love to stay there again.

Good hotel and location within walking distance to historic Hoi An”
Lantana is a pretty hotel with a welcoming and relaxed amosphere. Staff are very friendly and approachable, they went out of their way to make our holiday problem-free. Breakfast is very good and staff will help with arranging booking tours, etc. When we arrived we had 2 rooms on the ground floor , it was noisy from the lobby and breakfast in morning, so I asked if we could be moved to another floor. They were very accommodating and we got rooms on the second floor which solved the problem. Spa was relaxing for treatments and the heated pool was a big plus. Thanks again for an enjoyable stay.

We simply didn’t want to leave ”
This is a gem of a boutique hotel. The staff are friendly, helpful, kind and gracious. They were very patient with us Country Aussies (who are different to City Aussies). The room was immaculate and the furnishings tasteful and calming. We had two delicious breakfasts and relaxing drinks on the veranda in the evening. The only reason we left early is because of CoV19. We will definitely return and begin our holiday with a stay in this beautiful area, specifically the Lantana. Ironically Lantana is a noxious weed where we live - this gorgeous hotel and it’s wonderful Staff remind us only of the beautiful flowers.

Absolutely delightful boutique hotel”
We absolutely loved this gem of a boutique hotel. From the first, we were made very welcome by the manager and staff. The room, facilities and breakfasts were all lovely. The hotel is well located and only five minutes to the ancient town and is an easy walk. We were lucky enough to be staying at New Year and for New Year's Eve the hotel had a complimentary cocktails, buffet dinner and show put on by hotel staff, for all the guests. Our four night stay was a joy and we would happily recommend Lantana to anyone wanting a personal experience.

Fantastic location and service”
This cute little hotel is literally 5 minutes walk from town and the Japanese bridge.. they offer a bike for $1 s day to ride around and explore. They also offer shuttles to the beach. The staff are super friendly and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had loads of options. I would definitely stay here again..

The staff were attentive and friendly . We had a squeaky bathroom door and someone was upstairs and fixed it quickly . Great sleep with black out drapes and quiet area . Happy hour on the front porch was very pleasant .

The hotel is situated by the river and very near to the ancient town. It is just a 3 min walk to the heart of the ancient town. So convenient that we could walk to and fro for meals, tailoring and attraction a few times a day. The friendly staff makes the stay even more pleasant. The manager on duty was the best and she would recommend good restaurants around the area and always there to provide an answer to your queries.

We loved this location because it was just across the river from the Ancient Town noise but only a few minutes walk away. Staff was very helpful and assisted us with getting show tickets same-day. Room was clean and spacious. Highly recommended!

Far enough away from the craziness of the old town and night market areas for it to be quiet but close enough to them to walk there in a few minutes. Mix up with the booking led to a room upgrade - staff went the extra mile to ensure everything worked out. The breakfast presents a great choice and is all very good.
