The best place. Only 3 minutes to reach Makkah tower. Then 3 minutes to reach haram . Totally 7 minutes you will be in haram . Breakfast really worthy . Very convenient

Everything was perfect. The room was very big and clean with small kitchen. Also, the staff there was very kind and helpful. Finally, there was a shuttle to Al Haram every 15 minutes which takes you the the closest point to king AbdulAziz gate.

Best option for families”
Very good shuttle service. A bit inconvenient for elders to get up and out of bus but staff helpful and wheel chairs provided by Hotel. Great service and facilities at this price and best option with shuttle

Reasonably priced ”
Le Meridien is a value for money place. It’s not some fancy 5 stars hotel, but rooms are spacious and clean enough for anyone. It even has a microwave which was a plus point considering the location was quite a distant from where the shopping and restaurants are. Although they have reliable, frequent shuttle bus, I do not recommend if you’re over 65 yo or have weak legs cos’ you still need to walk another 10 minutes and climb stairs to get to the nearest entrance to Masjidil Haraam. Nevertheless the check in staff Mr Abdul Latiff seemed to be the only person checking us in and working calmly despite many other guests typically, would cut the line and began to demand being served, whilst the rest of the men(staffs), in white jubba hid in the office. Well done Mr. Abdul Latif for your hard work and professionalism at your job. The breakfast spread was enough and delicious too. The hotel staffs and housekeeping are always helpful and prompt with our requests. Overall it’s a good place to be in Mekkah. It’s clean, safe especially to just sleep and rest rather than paying exorbitant amount to be near the Kaaba. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very good room, easy booking through online apps / websites. Peaceful place, good room service. After every room / housekeeping service receptionist call to confirm the service satisfaction. Always bus service is available for Haram. From stop to Haram 5 minutes walk. Staff very cooperative, except maintenance. I call several times for toilet seat cover problem, no one came during 2 nights stay. concierge staff was not much cooperative. Long queue at reception. Reception to be managed properly and staff to be increased.

Not luxury but spacious!”
Don't expect luxury. Room décor look quite worn down. But the rooms are very spacious! The shuttle bus frequency is quick 24/7 and such a short travel distance to the Haram too! Breakfast experience is a mess with the umrah groups queuing the same time as other guests. Should have a separate area for non-umrah group guests! Waiting for a 50+ group entrance queue is something - a rush rugby match for food is quite another experience. Parking is available but will test the most skillful of drivers with its tight spaces. AC is super cold. Bring a jacket and don't sleep in your ihram...it's THAT cold. Overall, quite good value for a weekend umrah.

The suites are ideal for families or groups, we had 2 rooms a living room kitchen and 3 bathrooms, a lot more space then we anticipated If this was walking distance to the Haram then this would be 5* On the Friday the shuttle service stopped and we had to walk to the mosque from the tunnel which was my only complaint otherwise good hotel and friendly staff who are helpful

It was a good experience as far as room services and other facilities we’re concerned. The rooms were spacious and far better than rooms in other hotels. Rooms were clean. The transport facilities were excellent. The staff was good to serve in time. But the breakfast services were not upto standards. The items were less and things had finished before the allotted time and were not replaced in time. The restaurant was not clean at all as rest of the hotel. There were stains in the seat and seat covers were dirty. The leftover crockery on tables were picked in time. Won’t recommend anyone to have breakfast there. It’s a good hotel to stay but without having breakfast there.

Good Hotel but not equal to 5-Star Services”
Breakfast - Good but not as per 5-Star Hotel Room - Good but not as per 5-Star Hotel, dim lights not enough, side table lamps did not work. Only electric kettle, 2x 330 ml water bottles, 5 tea bags and no milk provided. No question of any natural or sunlight, if lights off, feels like in grave. Two single beds were joined to make it big, funny. Bathroom - Good but not as per 5-Star Hotel, Only towels, shampoo/gel and soap (not good quality) provided. Rest all facilities mentioned on Agoda.com website, none of them were available which is professionally not right. Checkout Time: 12:30 noon is completely unrealistic, it is exactly Dhuhar Prayer time and looks it is set to charge more to customers half day rate who wants to pray Dhuhar specially on Friday. Again professionally not right. Location: Good only because of shuttle service to and from Haram- Mosque otherwise reaching to mosque could be a pain in neck. Overall it should rated as 3StarPlus (3-Star+)

I thought Itis going to be an exceptional experience, however the light in the room is so bad. Also, it didn't have microwave, slippers, locker (not working), and parking is scary
