After travelling for 5 months through SE Asia Leo's family has been one of the best! Newly open, it's a great value for money: you get a delicious typical vietnamese dinner included shared with other travellers and a very nice breakfast (3 different options). The beds are comfy and the place is clean. The staff is super friendly and the owner very helpful! We were able to check in at 7am after travelling for 10 hours on the bus. He provided with good information about the city and we were able to rent a motorbike for half a day. We just wish we stayed longer! I highly recommend this place

One of the most hospitable hostels I've ever been in! ”
I couldn't be happier with my stay here. Accommodation was unexpectecly cheap ($6USD for a single room with a double bed), the owner was incredibly nice (offered me to have lunch with his staff the day I arrived) and what really made my stay was the free "family dinners", where there was not only delicious food and 'happy water', but also really encouraged conversation with other travellers with I really enjoyed. And to top it off, they also have some really cute pets, including a very cuddly husky! Overall, this hostel really exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much for the stay!

friendly welcome. nice service quality for moto rental and bus booking. always ready to help. they also cook nice and cheap diner almost every evening, good occasion to discuss with other travelers. good location as well, 10 to 15 minuts walking to the very center town. I recomend you Leo's familly!

Recommended for backpackers”
I came to Leo's at 5 in the morning, was confused whether to wake Leo up at such early hour, but I did because it was dark and I had no where to go. He was nice and friendly and guided me to my place right at once. The stay was good, considering the amount of money I had to pay (60000 VND/day). It was a 8-bed-room and always full. The locker and bathroom was at another room so you need to go to another room for bath or putting your stuffs into the locker, but it's fine if you just put your bags (without valuable stuffs) on your bed, which I did.

Good Budget place”
Location is good- 10/15 mins walk to market and lake. Room was very big but we booked the triple to have a balcony. Small bathroom but great strong shower. It can be cleaner but cant have it all for $8 for 2 inc food. Breakfast was nice- good noodle soup. We booked halfboard but they did not have enough guests so we missed the dinner but we found a really nice restaurant just opposite - pasta food- so its wasnt an issue and they refunded us for the dinners. Theres some lovely dogs and cats wondering around if you love pets too.

The guy who runs this hostel is a real sweetheart who will go out of his way to make you comfortable. You get breakfast and dinner, so it's a fantastic deal. Also, there are 2 adorable dogs and a cat to hang out with. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Good value for money, great location ”
The host team is super friendly and nice. I love the concept of “family dinner” that they offered at a very good price. It’s rather a new business for them so some renovation of facilities or routine maintenance to improve the cleaness would be perfect. Their 02 dogs are also lovely ^^

The staff here make the place, even putting on a free dinner some evenings, which is really nice a sociable. The dorm room looked good, although we stayed in a double room which was fine. Would happily stay again and think its very reasonably priced.

Great Place To Meet Friends”
The stay included breakfast and dinner. for dinner they arranged the tables into one long table and guests ate together and mingled. It was a great experience and we learned ideas from staff and guests alike on how to spend our time in the city!

Lovely staff. Great budget option in Dalat”
The staff were the highlight here, and the family meal every evening (included in the room cost) was a real bonus. Delicious and a great chance to meet and chat with other travelers. The bed was very comfy and the room basic but fine. Hospitality of the staff was some of the best we have experienced in Vietnam! Highly recommend.

Great place ”
First of all, the staff os really amazing and sweet. They offer free breakfast and free delicious dinner, everyday. The dinner is at a set time so you get to meet other travelers and share experiences and tips. The location is a bit of a walk from the main center. The largest downside is the room, which was really not in a good condition, looked old and moldy. The "window's" view was to the corridor. Other than that, the place is great and has a good atmosphere.

4 floors with doms and only one bathroom. And its not even a bath, but a toilet in the room where the lockers are. Difficult to get changed, and have always to wait for shower. Rooms, dinner and breakfast are good. Staff is nice also. They didnt gave me the coffee they offer.

Acceptable”
We booked this place because it was super cheap and they had good reviews. We arrived before check in so Leo offered us tea and showed us the main sights and activities of the region, it was very helpful. We had a problem in our room and without any argument he gave us another room. Rooms are very basic. There was a strong smell of mold and the toilets was leaking, leaving a very bad smell in the bathroom. We avoided being in the room as much as we can. It was very unpleasant. It is located a bit too far to the city center. Staff is friendly but I would never stay there again.
