I almost don't want the word to get out!”
You don't come to Ko Libong looking for a wild adventure or the best in resort amenities. With that said, Libong Relax does a fantastic job at making such a lovely destination all the more incredible. Perks for me were: idyllic beachfront bungalows, accommodating and friendly staff, decisions that seem to acknowledge that visitors come to escape/relax (e.g. relaxed/nondescript bar, many ways to lounge near the beach!), excursion options, etc. Slight drawbacks: reservation snafu with availability of Agoda booking (quickly resolved to mutual benefit!), excursions were comparatively costly compared to next door. Other notes: transport to/from Trang airport is slightly costly, but potentially worth saving time. Easy to go next door to the Libong Beach Resort to eat / for activities. Really enjoyed my stay, and will recommend to any and all.

The Libong Relax Beach Resort , is a Great Place to Chill and charge your Battery . It's a Very nice , quiet , Peaceful Place . The Beach is direct on the front of your Room . And long enough for Walking and the Water clean . Swimming and snorkeling nice . Also you can watch Sea Cow's . ( Dugong ) The Room was big and clean the Bathroom too . Good Breakfast , many chooses. It's hidden paradise”
I prefer not to tell much about this place so people don't start coming here :) We had very comfortable wooden bungalow literally on the beach, with great terrace to relax, no aircon but when you open windows it's so cool and fresh in the room. Behind our bungalow was kind of a river with giant lizards and a lot of monkeys. Restaurant serves good breakfast, lunch and dinner was also very tasty and reasonably priced. At high tide sea is like the pool, you can swim and enjoy corals, no long tail boats here. At low tide sea disappears :) From this resort you can walk to the village, you can find couple of stores and local restaurants there. 5 stars to Libong island and to Relax resort!

Great location and very friendly staff”
Libong Relax Beach resort has a great location on the island. We had some fantastic sunsets during our stay. Recommend you to book a beach front villa, then you practically live on the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful, do not know the name of all but ms June and Mr Nine are perfect examples of SERVICE. Thank you for making our stay extra special. Go to see the dugong, stay and relax”
The goal of our trip was to see dugong and, with the help of the resort's boat captain, we did! Libong Relax is not a big fancy resort, but it (the staff, really) does everything superbly. They are friendly and helpful to a fault. The restaurant and bar are great and quite reasonably priced, too. And, don't forget to have a massage while you are there to make your visit even more relaxing. Have two massages! Really relax. Have the staff help you arrange other activities on the island and on the the water.

Lovely Place on a relaxed island ”
This is how you imagened being on an island in the Amandan Sea! Lovely and welcoming stuff. Greatest view on the beach ( that you can have almost on your own). Nice bungalows with veranda. Life really slows down there. And of you’re lucky you can see dugong - as we did. Thank you to all the people of Libong Relax Beach Resort.

We arrived by longtail boat from Koh Mook (less than an hour away) directly on to the beach beside Relax Resort. My first words were 'wow!' and our three nights there lived up to that initial reaction. Perfect for walks along the quiet beach, a massage beside the beach, good food in the open-air restaurant, relaxing on a sunbed by your cabin. We went on a dugong spotting trip with such an enthusiastic captain who had a real passion for his job - we were so thrilled to see 9 dugongs, thanks to him! The beach isn't as talcum-powdery as Ko Kradan, and water visibility doesn't have the same clarity as, say, Ko Lipe but it is just a quiet relaxing place where not a lot happens. Watch out for the monkeys though... we didn't see any but they raided our half-open-air bathroom one afternoon, throwing our toothbrushes and toiletry bag into the sink, spare toilet roll into the bin and stole our toothpaste (which we later found behind the cabin)! We would love to return for a longer stay.

Very Nice stay.”
We had such a nice time the 3 days we stayed at Koh Libong. Here is not much to do, which is perfect - just what we wanted. The Staff is very Nice and helpfull, though they tend to forget half the order when ordering at the restaurant (we are 5 persons, maybe that's why😊) We didn't see much of the Island from land, bur had a nice boattrip around the Island looking for Dugongs.

We like Relax Beach Resort! Wish we could have stayed a few days longer. Nice clean beach. Very clean and restful. Staff was very obliging. We had a pavilion bungalow with FSn. We really did not need a/c. Just left our windows open for the cool breeze and to listen to the ocean. Thanks Junnie

The resort is excellent. Not super posh but perfect for island living. Our villa was directly on to the beach which was cleaned daily. We have read comments about glass on the beach but this is away from the resort area. Do take care when wandering farther afield. The staff are lovely - many thanks. Breakfast is fine with choices and the restaurant area is very attractive. There are excursion opportunities along with scooter and cycle hire options locally. The key thing for us is that this is a peaceful, friendly place where they are trying to balance local life with limited tourism. Oh, the cold showers were a surprise for us. This isn’t really an issue in the heat but we did not notice this information being provided beforehand.

It's ok to relax but you can't make a noise because the name of resort is Libong relax beach. Customer service is not ok. No TV.

A great retreat for a few days”
This is a quiet and peaceful resort. The beach is clean and with very few people. The bungalows are clean and right on the beach, each with a veranda. Breakfast was included for us and there was a choice although this was limited. The restaurant had a choice of food but this became a little monotonous after 3 days. There are other restaurants at other resorts but the one at Relax resort was better. All extras including food are kept on a tab to pay at the end but you can pay at the time too. There is a nice little bar which is perfect to watch the sunset from. The resort offers a range of day trips but the prices are sometimes confusing as they change with the number of people attending. At times, my partner and I were given completely different prices when we asked. The snorkelling tour we took was good value though.

For Example, If you would like to go snorkeling trip a cost is 4500 THB per way for 1-4 persons if you have 2 persons a price is 4500 THB, but if someone joins with you, the price is divided by 4 persons. it is not confusing at all. Perfect place for a peaceful relaxation”
The room is situated right on the beach and has all the facilities for a getaway. You don't always need a TV or hot shower if you want to get away from things. The restaurant is decent with a free breakfast provided. Tours and activities are also offered at reasonable prices. Staff in all settings were friendly and helpful and went beyond call of duty to assist. Would highly recommend this place for a holiday at an affordable price.

There are only 3 resorts on this island and this one seemed to be mid ranged. Breakfast not included but you can dine in any of the 3 resort restaurants. Food was ok, nothing special and not the best we had in Thailand. Shame there are no local restaurants nearby and you have to stick to resort's food only. The accommodation was good, we went for the airconditioned bangalow. The only thing I would criticise is the use of blankets instead of proper linen covers. In general the place was very peaceful and perfect for anyone trying to get away from crowded busy places.

Laid back, very thoughtful staff”
If you look for a relaxed, nice and quiet atmosphere, this is close to perfect. Especially the Pavillion bungalows with fan have a perfect location right on the beach. Only cold water and no a/c (but it is not needed). The staff is very nice and thoughtful. They even arranged inexpensive transfer to Krabi for me when they were worried that I was set up by a fake taxi company. Thank You! The bar was great, served good drinks and even very nice white wine.

Okay but with some flaws ”
We stayed here 2 nights with a one year old. Breakfast simple. Beach oke for swimming when it's high tide. Low tide means no water so no swimming. At arrival we were told we could extend our stay, no problem. Promises were made but unfortunately they couldn't deliver. Therefore we had to move to the neighboring resort. Tours The hotel offers tours at 4 times the cost of the same tour elsewhere on the island. We did a dugong tour for 500 baht in the fisherman village. Drove there with a taxi for 100 baht and saw dugongs within the first 20 minutes of the tour. Food Food is oké at hotel but expensive. Walk alongside the beach or behind the neighboring Libong Beach resort and eat deliciously at the local village for a fraction of the hotel rates. Alcohol is not available because it's a Muslim village. Room The room is simple and amenities are basic. Cold shower, toilet and a sink with cold water. We had some cockroaches in the room and some mosquitoes. Bed is hard but clean. Deck is nice for sunsets.

Beautiful Bungalows along a beach with no other people than a few other resort guests. Bungalows are comfortable and with a wonderful view & access to the beach. Restaurant is tasty and staff very very friendly. Massage parlour, canoe renting and trips (snorkelling, dugong viewing, transport links) organised by staff.
