Close to airport, convenient ”
Really close to the airport so was really convenient. It was just a bed for the night. Room was not clean with cob webs on the ceiling and smelt damp. No towels or toiletries in the room either. But like I said it was just a cheap bed for a few hours before I flew so did the job. Friendly and helpful staff.
Friendly staff”
Check out was possible late (1 am) but it has been very difficult to get the information as the staff was not speaking English at all. The bathroom Is not very clean but the beds are very big. A bit far from city center and airport, consider to take a taxi. Very friendly staff
Never again!”
Mattress as hard as a rock. Bed sheets weren't changed. Toilet stinks. Disgusting!!
Nice staff, hostel needs renovation”
Wish I could say I enjoyed my stay. I did not get the room I booked but the first floor dorm room with many beds. The smell of mold and mildew was so bad in the room. I sat at the bar to use my laptop, unfortunately the mouse ran me away. The staff and people here are really kind and friendly
The best hostel I have ever been to!!”
Somebody may critisize that the location of this hostel is way too far from the downtown, but actually renting a motorcycle which only costs VND 120,000/day would solve all this problem. The staff here is really friendly and enthusiastic, and unbelievably all one-time toiletries are prepared for you! This is definitely the best and the most considerate hostel I have ever been to! I highly recommend this one to all backpackers!
One of the best”
Definitely one of the best hostels around. The rooms are quite big, high ceilings and the bright and airy rooms are always fresh, clean and the aircon keeps the rooms at a nice cool temperature throughout the day and night. The breakfast of eggs, baguette and some fresh fruit in the morning are a nice touch and are cooked perfectly to whatever style you choose. Probably the best quality though is the staff. They will go out of their way to help you with any problem that you have, whether it is paying the correct fare for a taxi or finding your way around the area that the hostel is in. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Oh! The facilities, tv room, terrace, book room etc are fantastic too!
Good”
The Hostel location is by the lake but far away from the main tourist attractions, it's near to the airport, for those who fly, this may be a plus. But the planes are quite noisy. The staff are helpful and nice.
Near the airport”
It took only 15 min. walk from/to the Int'l airport. But a bit far from some restaurants I think. Thre beds, toilet/shower was clean, so no problem. And friendly staff, thank you all.
Okay for a night”
I would only stay here again for the same purpose as we used it for. A very late night flight, a backpacker budget and this is the closest to walk to from the airport. The room was probably the worst I've stayed in in SEA. Just really old, tired, reeking of mould, etc. The shower pressure was non-existent which is saying something after using showers on the islands in Thailand and Cambodia. Staff were fine but I was tired and handed over too much money for a bottle of water that I only got the correct change for once my partner pointed it out to the staff. If you have the option, organise an airport transfer to accommodation in hoi an and skip this place.
Good Budget Stay”
Had your own Bed with shutters. Had a good sleep. Outside is a main road and it might be noisy outside. But the bedroomnis good isolated and there was no noise. All in all you get whqt you pay, but it is worth it for the money.
okay for a night”
This is okay if you're only staying a night or waiting for a late night/early morning flight. It's within walking distance to the airport, which can also be a problem if you're a light sleeper bec you'll hear the planes coming and going. Staff is okay and friendly. The room I stayed in has big balcony where you can see the airport. They provide soap, tissue and towel. The bldg is old, old furniture, etc. Wifi is unstable. Kettle in the room is broken. But what upset me is that the water was cut off before my checkout time. I couldn't even take a bath or brush my teeth. As I have only about an hour left before checkout, I didn't bother to go downstairs and tell them. I did mention it to them when I checked out at the reception and they apologized.
SUPER BIG ROOM ”
Staff were friendly. Breakfast was toast with butter , jam and condense milk with some fruits. Room were really big that includes a outdoor area with stones however we felt that was unnecessary. There was a balcony too but water were leaking too. Room was not that clean, furniture were very old and bed frame was a bit broken . Limited plug around. Toilet was not that clean and the glass divider seems like it might topple if force were exerted on it. Hostel location is near the airport but far from tourist agency area. I believe is more suitable for people that go there for work because is nearer to the working area.
A Big NO”
Stay at 1st floor (8 beds), mosquito, mold room as no Exhaust fan for toilet which is inside the room. Free a small mineral water. Bed is hard type. 2 pillows. Mold caused smelly. Noisy also as facing to main road. Location is near to a cinema and highlands coffee (within 3 min walk). Cheap enough USD5. Nearby to airport and railway station but not recommended. Stay nearby Big C is preferred.
Nice hostel ”
Very close to the railway station and airport. But a bit far from the beach. Easy to rent a motorcycle so it doesn't matter actually. The only problem is the pillow I used stinks. I guess they could use a bit more washing.
Hostel not in the best condition but ok if you fly early because its location”
Bad: Smells mold strongly, not good for health. The locker under bed was covered with mold powder that I think is poisonous. Bathroom smells, electric hot water needs to be turned on to pre-heat Facing main road therefore noisy at night. Good: Small bottle of free water Very close to airport, with 12 mins walk. Powerful dual aircon unit for a medium sized room that can freeze you if they want.
good”
I stayed 1 night at anapartment room which was good, clean and cozy, traditional interior etc. It is located near the airport which takes about 15min on foot BUT I dont recommend you to go there on foot expecially late night time (I did).
Close to the airport ”
We stayed here one night as we had to catch a flight and it's a great location for that but if you want to be near the city centre or beach this is not the place. The place is clean, the pod style beds in the dorms are nice, the under the bed storage is convenient, the staff is very helpful (even though for some English is limited) and they provided a cute little care package of toiletries. The one note is the dorm on the first floor is very noisey due to its proximity to the restaurant/reception so try to avoid that one.
poor location and unfriendly staff”
unless your priority is being within walking distance of the airport then I wouldn't recommend here. far from anything interesting. would have to hire a bike. Staff member was very unfriendly couple of grunts and sent me upstairs. didn't bother to show me the facilities or say anything. the pods ate pretty goodecent and yiu get some personal space but the bed is very hard. Do what I did and switch to Danang Backpackers Hostel.
Spacious, clean, hard beds”
I rated the food/breakfast a three because I missed it by ten minutes and did not get to eat. The beds are VERY hard (even by Vietnam standards!), but the cleanliness, staff, and overall appeal make up for it. I rented a motorbike from the hostel for two days to take a trip to Hoi an - the staff wanted me to leave my passport but I refused and they accepted a deposit instead (even though I was also leaving my pack behind). I returned from Hoi An and spent one more night here, but left the next day as Da Nang doesn't offer much. Overall the hostel was good but the city leaves much to be desired.
Close to the airport and local bus to hoi an”
Great value. Good location. Friendly staff, especially Hong, who is very helpful and polite ~ there's also a nice park right opposite if you need to burn some calories (look out for the deer enclosure too ^^)
