Covenient location
The collection of the keys is a laborious and difficult process with multiple forms of ID being required ahead of the trip, then requiring you to visit another location to collect the key (which was not something we would have wanted to do in the dark) and then having to go back to find the apartment. The apartment needs a complete update and the standard of cleaning is very poor. Lightbulbs were missing, the shower and bathroom were dirty, the bedding was dirty, a broken window which couldn't be shut (noisy revellers outside being heard all night) and the ceiling fan was covered in a deep and dirty layer of dust. We paid over £500 for two nights, plus a £300 deposit which we felt was very, very expensive for the quality of the apartment. The location may be convenient but the apartment itself needs a complete overhaul.

Location, good sized apartment. Well equipped, clean.
Nice apartment but maybe needs a little bit of tlc. Mainly cosmetic damage. Breakfast bar work top was damaged, one of the beds had been 'repaired' by screwing a large piece of hardboard to it and the bucket chairs in the bedrooms were very rickety. Things that can easily be rectified.

Good location. Clean. Did the job.
Unusually large amount of paperwork, ID and form filling required before we could check in. Wi-Fi was very iffy. No hot water on the morning we left (they would have come to fix it, but we needed to leave. It was just an annoyance). Huge deposit required which was unexpected, although repaid very promptly which was good. Customer service was curt.

A good sized apartment that needs a refresh”

The apartment is a great size. Beds are comfortable and the hosts pleasant. Hosts came over with dishwasher tabs etc that had not been left for us so were very helpful.
The keys have to be collected from a location about a 5 minute walk away. This can be quite inconvenient when you plan to get a taxi etc. However, the hosts were very accommodating on check-out and had someone come and collect the keys from us. The apartment itself is a little tired with grout in the kitchen and bathroom being very dirty, as was the shower head. There was a very active bees nest on the balcony outside so we were unable to open the balcony doors. I'd stay again, but with lower expectations.

Disappointing”

Good location and could be l8cely if maintained properly.
The handles to one of the bedroom doors were lying on the floor next to it and the lock had been taken out altogether. The door could not be shut. The window handle in the same room was also broken. Several of the hinges of a cupboard door in the bathroom were broken too, so the door would not shut properly, revealing a grubby duvet. The door itself, next to the toilet, has not been cleaned in a while. Ditto for the kitchen cubboard doors. The bathroom sink did not drain properly. There was a VERY large wasps nest on the roof of the balcony, so the balcony could not be used. The front door to the apartment is very likely not a fire door. None of these things are declared in the property description. We are still waiting for a reply to the emails we sent about these problems. Over £500 for less than 48 hrs seems extortionate for a property of this standard.

The location of the substituted unit was great and it was quite roomy.
They required a deposit after the booking with no mention of it. They charged it to my card and were suppose to refund it before 14 days, but it took over a month. The elevator was broken and they were putting us on the 6th floor, we declined and they put us in another one of their buildings. The unit they finally put us in was fine but the dishwasher was broken.
