Exceptional”
This is an excellent hotel with the most caring and attentive owner! You can (and should!) rent a motorbike for 200 THB for 24 hours from the front desk - this is the best way to explore Koh Lanta, in my opinion. Unless you're really pinching pennies or used to the humidity, I would definitely suggest opting for an AC room as it will make your stay much more comfortable. Laundry service is also extremely convenient and provided for the very reasonable price of 40 THB/kg. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would return to Lom La Lanta!

Feels Like Home”
We loved our stay at Lom La Lanta! So much so that we extended our stay by 2 nights. The accommodations were really clean, the bed was one of the most comfy we’ve had in Thailand, and the staff that runs this place was so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect – a quick walk from Long Beach or Relax Bay. Breakfast was simple, but we often opted to go next door to the French bakery for almond croissants. Lots of other food options were nearby too. The services they offer like same day laundry and transfer bookings were really convenient as well. After long days of exploring the Lom La Lanta was the perfect place to come home to. Infinite thanks to their staff for making our stay so lovely!

We really enjoyed our stay in Lom la lanta hotel. The lady was really friendly and helped us with everything. We rented a motorbike through her for nice deal and at the same time bought ferry ticket to phi phi. The location was perfect for us. Just in the middle of island. So, it was easy to travel by motorbike around all island. Nice clean hotel with breakfest for good deal.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lom La Lanta. It is one of the best place we have stayed so far during the entire trip. The staff is super friendly and helpful. In case you ever need help with transportation or book a day trip, they do it right on the spot. Very clean and large rooms. Nice spacious bathrooms the shower and the toilet are separated (a rarity in Southeast Asia). Beds are large and very comfortable. It is very easy to feel at home here. A few minutes walk to the beach, lots of shops and restaurants around. I definitely recommend this place for all fellow travelers.

Great little hotel with great staff and hotel cats”
We enjoyed our stay at Lom la Lanta so much so we extended by a further couple of days. The staff are all friendly and it was unexpected to get an included light breakfast in the morning-fruit,toast and coffee. The hotel is very close to the animal welfare centre-10 min walk and the owner has taken in some of the stray cats who are some friendly and playful if you want to if not they are well trained to amuse themselves by chilling in the communal area. The room itself was clean and we had a balcony to sit on however no safety deposit box. The hotel hires bikes for 200 (or 250 baht) which can get you to all the sites you need to see but if you don't the beach and decent restaurants are walkable with a pharmacy and seven11 two minutes down the road. Great job guys keep it up!

We loved staying at Lom La Lanta! The location was the perfect combination: near the beach & restaurants without being surrounded by tourists. The hotel itself was pretty good as well! Clean, the bed was really comfortable, and you could book tours and rent bikes from the reception. The staff went above and beyond into making sure we were comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

My favorite hotel on Ko Lanta”
I've stayed at Lom La Lanta twice and I will definitely come back if I return to Ko Lanta. Sada and the staff are friendly, they offer a basic complimentary breakfast, and the hotel has a nice simple and clean design.

Excellent”
Cute, clean, simple guesthouse with a really good location just a couple minutes walk to the beach and near lots of good restaurants with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is provided but very basic (toast and jam with coffee or tea), and the room at the end gets quite a bit of noise from the road, but overall would still recommend as a nice base to explore Koh Lanta!

Arived for a four day stay, very friendly welcome. I was given room 4 on the second floor, as the building is built side on to the road the view from the balcony was of a old tin shack, but there wasn't a problem when I asked for room further along with view of the street. Rooms are clean, wifi works god on the second floor and all you need is in the room. Coffee and tea in reception in the mornings and my laundry came back smelling great. Hotel is a bit noisy in the day as lots of traffic on the road outside. Great location for shops and bars but not at the nice end of long beach. I would recommend if you don't mind hotel on the main road.

Rooms are very comfortable & clean. In bed at night I almost forgot I was in Asia & felt like I was home in the US. Breakfast is included for all guests, which is a major positive. Laundry service on site is extremely convenient. Property is well designed, with nice fauna. Close to 7/11, which is important. And a short walk to the beach. Overall a good choice for the price.

Amazing”
Simply a great place to stay. The rooms are commodious, cozy, clean (they clean every two days), the beds are huge, the balcony is romantic (full-wall window), shower is clean and modern. Location is good even if you don't have a bike (but you better rent one, because all the best beaches are far down south anyway), Long beach is just 5 minutes away, a lot of cafes and restaurants around, 7/11, pharmacy, clinic. Breakfast you have tosts, tea, coffee, jams, butter, seasonal fruts. Staff is so so nice and helpful, you won't find same anywhere else!! They literally saved my life while I was there, long story that was. Love them.

Wonderful Location, Friendly Staff”
A very comfortable room and an easy walk to the beach. The staff kindly arranged for private transport from the airport to the location (even with very short notice) because my flight came in too late to use a minibus. The staff were always friendly in setting up activities (scooter rental for 200 baht was so much fun). The place itself is really relaxing, the balcony in the room was great for drinking a Leo/Chang in the evening and reading a book. Wifi is a bit weak in the rooms, but the first floor lounge is open quite late and has hammocks to kick back in while handling emails etc.

Lom La Let-down”
After reading all the great reviews for Lom La Lanta we thought it was a no brainer. But after our 7 night stay we were wondering if they had written fake reviews to lure guests in. When we arrived in the room we struggled to put our stuff somewhere without making a mess. There is one tiny desk and a bed, that's it. We chose the fan room with a TV but the tiny fan wasn't enough to cool down the blazing hot room with a big glass door facing the sun all day. The tv didn't work and the fan barely did anything, not to mention no wifi. The heat was unbareable and we were lucky in that there was an air conditioned room available and we moved into it immediately and paid an extra 800 baht after talking the owner down from 1400 ( which was like pulling teeth, even though none of the tv's in the hotel work and nobody was even staying in the AC room). In 7 days our room was cleaned/toiletries were replaced 3 times, and we only got free water on the first night. Overall way overpriced considering the service and lack of amenities. Don't expect more than a bed and a small desk. There is only wifi in the public area and rooms 3 and 4.

Good value for money on long beach”
Good location. Very good value for money. We extended our stay by 2 days as was great. Tea and toast included in the price. Really helpful- they booked our trip to koh rok. Also they did our laundry for us for 40bt per kg. Recommend for any traveller as good place to get to the rest of the island. Near some really nice restaurants.

Great value for money hotel”
Is set a bit away from the beach on the main road but only a couple of minutes walk to it. The room was spacious and modern with a little balcony, and the bathroom was clean and modern (great shower too). Free Breakfast was good; toast, jam, coffee, fruit etc.

Very clean and comfortable Hotel”
I stayed at the second floor, pretty cool to have a balcony there. Unfortunately to the beach it’s a few minutes to walk, restaurants and 7-Eleven are close. Staff was friendly and the rooms are very clean. There is not really something to complain. Would stay again and can reccommaned this place for the money.

Great spot on southern end of long beach”
Rooms were clean and modern, staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was 5 min walk from 7/11 and many bars and restaurants although it is a little further from the nice part of long beach so it's a long walk or a scooter ride. We rented a scooter a few days for 200 baht/day. Overall a really great value with the fridge in the room and breakfast (toast, coffee, fruit) in the morning.

Best place we found to stay in Koh Lanta”
Nice and clean guest house with light breakfast every morning. Excellent service, everything went smoothly. Nearby different cafes with local and western food selection, 10 min to the long beach. You can rent there a scooter to go to other parts of the island. Which is very convenient. Owners are very kind and responsive people.
