Nice location. Reception side is nice. Room is old. Poor swimming pool.”
I thought that the owner didn't invest in facilities for a long time. The reception side is nice, looks like Hoi An. The room and the swimming pool is oposite to the reception side. No one clean the way in the swimming pool side. It's so dirty after other group party there. It's not luxury as 4 stars resort.

Good location but the resort too old and no renovation at all. Equipments in room out of order:”
Telephone out of order( contact to staff and nothing done), refrigerator’s door broken, remote control of air conditioner unworkable ( battery get spoilt)... Receptionists not friendly and when we claim about the rooms in general they ignored. We never come back with such a resort like that

Maintenance Required ”
Beach front resort. Facilities are really run down and require maintenance. Pool side bar is a storage space. Staff were not friendly or efficient. Service staff were on phone instead of working. Staff took 10mins just to find a high chair despite request made in Vietnamese. Restaurant still has celebratory signs up for Luna New Year (since February). Fishing club is long abandoned. Definitely not a 4star hotel as advertised.

Abandoned facility.”
Unless you're an "urban explorer" or big fan of apocalytic movies I would reccommend to stay away from this place.

Awfull ”
Not a single staff member speaks even a little bit English. We got wrong room and never got the right one, horrible service. Beds are horrible, you can feel the springs in your back. Pool cant be used. And the food is way to expensive towards what you actually get. Wouldent reccomend this place to my worst enemy.

Quite, peaceful location away from Vung Tau”
We had a pleasant stay at the resort, it was only for 1 night. It is very peaceful there (must still be low season as not many guests there). We had a room looking towards the sea which was lovely. It was also great to hear the waves crashing. The beach was fine, with fisherman dotted about. It was a pleasant walk along the beach. The staff were courteous and friendly. I did not enjoy Vung Tau, so it was great to be away from that area.

Long Hai Sucks, Stay in Vung Tau”
Long Hai really isn't a tourist-y beach, therefore it isn't kept well at all. There's trash on the beach and probably in the water, and no one (including the staff) has bothered to try to clean any of it up. I thought about doing it myself because it was so bad, but one thing led to another and I forgot. The place is old, but nice and pretty clean. I'm sure it depends on what room you get though, so maybe ask for a room switch if you think it's dirty or something. My bed sucked—you could feel the springs in your back. The coffee is pretty un-drinkable, so unless you like coffee flavored medicine, I would bring your own. Also, the food was hit or miss, and pretty expensive for Vietnam. I pretty much only ordered rice, which was passable. Bottom Line: There are much better places to stay in South Vietnam. Don't stay anywhere in Long Hai, Vung Tau is much better.

Not bad, but not as what was represented”
The resort is about 3 hours drive( in traffic) from the Airport, 20 Km from Vung Tau( quite nice city with a statue of Christ which highly recommend to visit) and within 2-3 kms of Long Hai ( small city with some shops and quite dirty). The resort is almost empty within weekdays and fills up a bit by weekends by rich locals and a corporate meetings. WI Fi is limited to some areas only and we have to walk to the restaurant or reception to get some connection. Almost no one speaks even basic English or Russian, therefore speak with staff using very primitive and simple words( avoid like, "could you please" or "can I have" and use body language. Expect that instead of a hot coffee with milk you will be served with iced coffee. If you want 1-2 weeks of quite relaxation by a pool, this is not bad at all, but to get to the shopping centre to buy something decent taxi will costs 800,000 dongs( about $40USD) for a car return( driver will even wait for 2-3 hours to pick you up back from the city). Weather in November was excellent!

Nice place”
This was a very pleasant stay. It is on the coast about 26 km from Vung Tao and the facility is large and beautiful. Like so many places in Vietnam the maintenance is not there so the place is a little worn but with a little work it could be returned to a five star status

Nice quiet hotel but...”
Beautiful hotel, amazing swimming pool, nice bufet (although crowded and food is not replenished promptly)... got a room with an ocean view, but it was behind the swimming pool (we could see the ocean!) and there was a noisy "gala dinner" by the pool. Blasting music all afternoon and evening until around 9pm, then noisy music from another near-by resort... Not the perfect place for a quiet weekend, but nice resort, comfortable rooms.

A wonderfull get away”
The hotel in it self is really beautifull with all its gardens, full og palms and flowers. The breakfast is served in a really nice restaurant with a panoramic view to the beach. The room are clean and desent. The food we ordered for lunch one day, was really delicios. The breakfast was not as impressive, because it had gotten a little dry, from standing out all morning. I guess I could learn to get up earlier. The only real downside was the lack of sunlougers by the pool. Luckely they have a lot of the traditional plastic chairs. It is funny that they have this beautifull hotel, that is vrey well thought trough...beside the funitures at the pool. Is'nt that most important area of a hotel like this? But, this is a perfect destination to relax and restitute.
