What a place!”
We had so much (relaxing) fun in Lotus Field Homestay. From the homy informal check in, to the 6 fans pointing to our beds and the great family diner all guests were invited for. They took care of everything: Picked us up n the train station, helped us plan our 2 days in town, took us for sightseeing and delivered us back to the train station. Everything with reasonable prices. Overall we payed roughly 100usd dinner, drinks and driving us around during the 2 days we stayed with them. We stayed in the back family villa, which was quiet and still gave us a beautiful view. Definitely loved the entire experience.

Absolutely magical”
One of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. If you’re looking to get out into nature and some peace and quiet this is the spot. Be aware that this is a cabin that is fairly open to nature so there’s no AC and you may have a few “guests” in your room so don’t leave out food and use the mosquito nets (although the bugs weren’t that bad considering we were literally on a rice paddy). That being said, it’s remote, peaceful, beautiful, and natural while still being close enough to most of the activities in the area. The main selling point however is the hosts—the people running the place are absolutely wonderful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The family dinners each night were great, and it was easy to rent a motorbike each day to cruise around the area. Thank you Anh and everyone at Lotus Field, you were the highlight of our trip!

Best accommodation in Ninh Binh!”
The place was indeed sorrounded by a lotus field and had amazing views of the mountains around it. You'd really feel in touch with nature. The bungalows were clean and well taken care of on a daily basis during our stay. The family that owned it was delightful. They were friendly and helpful whenever needed. And finally, the food was probably the best we've tried so far. Everything was prepared fresh and was absolutely delicious, even for my bf who doesn't usually enjoy Vietnamese food.

Beautiful location. Quite peaceful but you can go many famous nearby sightseeings with just by few minutes motorbike riding. Homestay owners are very friendly and willing to help. Highly recommend

Really great home stay experience if you want to get off the beaten path Basic rooms (no tv etc but do have wifi) The family are amazing and helpful they have scooters and bicycles to hire for affordable prices The food was amazing highly recommend having dinner with the family

Incredible Location”
First and foremost, the location is spectacular, with the individual rooms set amongst the beautiful limestone cliffs with few neighbours (other than one who liked house music during breakfast it seems). The free bikes are a bonus and it's possible to circle to most of the local cave and attractions (if you can prise yourself away from the terrace for long enough). The family are very nice and helpful. - The bathroom shower didn't drain properly and room door didn't shut fully. We did have a furry visitor in the night come and try to steal our oolong tea! But he left for good theafter this was put away

Secluded, peaceful getaway”
Just about the perfect weekend getaway from Hanoi. Half a dozen bungalows, all with excellent views. Only kind of a pain to find and get to, but this is part of the charm. You really get left alone here and after the daily grind of life in Hanoi, this is just about the perfect escape. I could happily sit in the hammock and read all day. Or, for those of you looking to see the sights, some are walkable or a short drive or cycle away. In a country full of cinder block hotels and ostentatious resorts, this is a rare gem. Cannot wait to come back.

Meilleur endroit dans lequel nous avons séjourné dans le Nord du Vietnam. Le cadre est incroyable, le logement insolite, les équipements simples mais tout y est, les hôtes charmants et serviable, la nourriture délicieuse. Tout ceci pour un prix très attractif. Einzigartige Lage. Etwas schwer zu finden bei der Anreise. Transport zu Sehenswürdigkeit dann aber unproblematisch mit kostenlosen Fahrrädern, Rollern oder auch Taxiservice. Sehr nettes Personal, persönliche Atmosphäre mit super Essen.

喧騒とは無縁の場所”
バンガロー風の建物が６棟(うち１つがレセプションや食堂で５つが客室)蓮や稲に囲まれた中に建っていて、それ以外周りには何もありません。ただ日頃あくせくした環境に中に身を置いている自分にとってみればここはこの上ない贅沢でした。たまにはこういう場所に身を置くのも良いなと思いました。設備は最低限のものは揃い、エアコンはありませんでしたが、ここでは物質的な贅沢を考えることは野暮のような気がします。おそらく好みは分かれるかと思いますが少なくとも私はまたここに泊まりたいと思える所でした。
