Hien is very helpful, always available and cooks very well! the house was very clean, in beautiful nature, good Wi-Fi to work with! you need a scooter to get around the island, and I really think the location of this hotel was perfect.. Cat Ba city isn’t that big of a deal, we preferred to stay somewhere truly beautiful and peaceful… and we found the perfect place for that! thank you again!!!

We loved to stay there & hope we can come back one day!! The location is a bit remote & hard to find. But we loved that. There's a huge space around the area with a lot to explore, the appartement was awesome. The hosts are very friendly, the breakfast ist decent & tasty. We loved it.

The location is great, in the middle of nature and far away from the tourist area. The bungalow and the beds are very confortable. I really recommend this place and they rent motorbikes so all the island is easy reachable. The cafe in the valley, Lion Farmstay coffee and food, 40 minutes walking is also very nice

We had a wonderful time at Love House - the owners are so welcoming and helpful in figuring out how to get around Cat Ba and to make the most of your time there. The love house is a calming place, a true retreat - helped by the fact that it is a slightly out of the busy Cat Ba Town (only a short motorbike ride away) If you're staying in Cat Ba and you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere immersed in nature then I recommend. Chilling in Cat Ba”

Nice location far from the caloric centre of Cat Ba. Owned by a young couple, it’s a perfect place if you are looking for chilling. Two billiards field too. Nice rooms, good breakfasts, kind staff that cooks lunch and dinner too in case. You can rent motorbikes for 100vnd per day and get to the city in 15 minutes. First nice beach at 10 minutes by motorbike. Great value for money. Really suggested!

Guesthouse has amazing vibe and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. It is a little bit outside of the city but because of that you may enjoy some peace and nature. Dinner was really good as well and we enjoyed spending time in the evening on the terrace playing billboard.

The place is about 5km away from Cat Ba town, which is fantastic if you want to avoid any kind of noisy place! If you rent a motorbike, the town is only like 10 min away. Actually, the trips by motorbike through the roads are quite amazing! The family that rents the place IS LOVELY. They are nice and welcoming, they are available for any doubt you might have and give you recommendations on what to do depending on the weather! Breakfast is nice and they also offer lunch and dinner. The fried rice might be the best one we had during our 27 days trip! They offer laundry and moto renting for really fair prices. The rooms are cozy and wood made, which is really cool if you have to stay there because of the rain, the sound it makes on the rooftop is very chill! They have a common room with sofas and pool tables to play (and cats, which is the best part). The views from there are amazing too!

Fantastic Time, we stayed 4 days instead of the planned 1 night!”

Very very cozy accommodation, cute and clean bungalows. Lovely owner, she cooks every night if you want. It‘s away from the hectic Cat Ba City, but you are there very fast with a scooter (for rent: 100k/d at the hostel, 60k/d in the center). Also, you get everything you need in the hostel (beer, water, food….). If you book trips, you will be picked up there as well. We came in contact with a lot of nice other backpackers there.

The room itself and the facilities were nice and clean. The owner was very helpful and friendly. She organized everything for us and was very willing to answer all our questions. We also rented a scooter on site.
The only downside was with tge hot water which didn't work. When we told the owner about the problem, she took immediate action and it worked again in the evening, which was very nice. Also, the scooters are not in the best condition, but maybe that's just how things are here in Vietnam.
