Clean and easy for a quick getaway weekend!”
Clean and comfortable room with balcony to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the resort. Staffs were nice and accommodating when approached for recommendations. One thing that I see for improvement was the floor was so slippery. We have to walk around the room bare foot to avoid geting hurt or fall. This was my 2nd time here and I would still recommend to anyone.

Highly Recommended Resort with Great Service”
My friends and I enjoy our stay at Lumphawa Amphawa Resort very much. The owner, K. Tham has provided us very considerate service and suggestions to visit Amphawa. We made our own lotus lantern during the Loi Kratong Festival with the resort staff. It was very nice to expereince the local culture.During the daytime, the resort has helped us hired a tuk tuk (around 20 mins tuk tuk ride from the resort) to the floating market, and we also visited Mekong Rail market,and the buddha in the tree. And we also hire a boat at night to see the firefly. We will definetly visit Lumphawa again.

A bit costly but worth every penny, great place!!”
Overall experience at Lumphawa was very good. The room decoration is modern and nice. Most importantly, it's very clean and staffs are very helpful. I also realized all the materials used in the hotel are high quality and safety concern which is hard to find in local chain hotel. The best part is you can even see the firefly from your balcony at night!!!! Had a chance to have a quick chat with the owner during the breakfast. He's also very friendly and helpful person, have no doubt why the hotel are well managed and neat. Only one negative point is that there is no convenience store nearby and F&B in the hotel looks limited Highly recommend for couple, family or event friend outing.

- Good decoration: Very detail decoration even on the ceal. Try and check out at the restaurant beside the river. - Smart staff: Owner actually works as a hotel staff. You can complain or give suggestion direction to the owner. The owner's family is actually there as well. - Clearn room:Smell is so fresh. - Acceptable value: The price is not high compare to other new hotel. - Not far from Bangkok: Samutsakorn is the place to go if you do not want to stay long on in the car. It takes about 1 hour to reach the hotel. - Boating at night: Boating around Amphawa at night is other interesting. - Good food: Plenty of food be served for you in the morning. - New Hotel: The hotel open since Oct 2012. Everything is new.

Pretty resort near the Floating Market”
We wanted a hotel close to the Amphawa floating market, it is a 15 minute boat ride which was arranged by the ever helpful owner. The resort is in small blocks around a canal in pretty gardens. Rooms were clean modern minimalist, very quiet appart from the lovely birdsong. The food was excellent and cooked to order although we had to get the menu translated as it is just in Thai. We also visited the Train Market and a couple of temples by tuc tuc , also arranged by the owner. A pleasant resort, well run and maintained and close to Amphawa.

Hidden gem in Amphawa”
The hotel is quite new with a canal and pedal boats. The property is pleasing to the eyes, nice landscape, and a good place to relax. There is no swimming pool. The canal room is comfortable with a balcony. Tham at the hotel speaks perfect English and is super nice. He can book the boat to take you to Amphawa Floating Market / firefly watching departing from the hotel dock! Nice and convenient. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Excellent”
The staff at the hotel helped us by arranging two boat excursions (evening one to Amphawa floating market and fireflies and morning one to the smaller but more intimate Tha Kha floating market) and a tuk tuk to the Maeklong railway market. These short excursions were definitely some of the highlights of our Thailand vacation......and all made possible by the help of the friendly staff.

modern and quiet place with nice staff”
we stayed over the weekend and brought our toddler. the resort looks very new and modern, you can tell that the owner is a designer. he was there as well and took very good care of all the guests. there are 3 2-floor buildings with rooms, a couple of 'villas', the restaurant area is facing the klong behind the property with a nice area to sit and chill. it's located very close to the floating market. our little one enjoyed running around the place and the boat ride on the little canal that is going through the resort. the rooms are very clean and spacious. breakfast buffet is ok, service great. we surely come again.

A quiet and peaceful stay at a hideaway”
Since we choose to spend weekdays at the resort,things were relatively quiet so to speak. We were surprised by the ultra-modern 2-story building with very high ceiling in our bedroom. The air-condition works remarkably well taking into consideration the very hot and humid weather outdoor. We experience a warm welcome from staff throughout our 3-day stay. We would definitely stopover at the resort on our next visit.

It's brand new resort along the "Klong" linked to floating market. Met the entire family of the owners while staying. They constructed this resort with love. Facilities just like high-end resort. There's a very nice local thai restaurant nearby.

Overpriced Resort”
Room was good and so was location. The hotel is overpriced. The resort is very very small and breakfast is not impressive. Our stay was spoiled by a large group of Thai workers who were on some company paid holiday. These people were bouncing around the resort drunk, loud and aggressive. I think this hotel is popular for group bookings so i would suggest staying g at another resort with your family. Again the resort is very overpriced for what you get. Bed was very small also.

Romantic place”
We had a lovely 1 night stay here. Everything was perfect about this place except for it was too far away from the Amphawa floating market. If you had your own transport then this place is perfect. Any time we wanted to go somewhere, the staff called a taxi for us.

Great value and nice place”
I really like this place and recommended for a couple. The staffs is friendly and energetic. There also have a private boat service to the floating market and the lightbug tour! Really fastinating and romantic. The room is spacious and have a good view. Clean and new. Eventhough the room doesnt block sound from outside. We still can hear noises from the corridor. The breakfast only service until 9 AM. So quite not good for u if u not a morning person.
