Obviously my sister and I were in Mui Ne at the wrong time of year - ocean was rough and this affected the quality of the sea water itself! It is a wonderful city, has many resorts and hotels - not a lot to do when one cant swim everyday Mai Am guest house is a great hotel, right on the beach, the rooms are serviced every day, the whole complex is kept spotless by the staff. We had a room right on the seafront but opted for one room back as it was bigger and we had a lot of luggage. The tariff includes breakfast - make sure you understand what b'fast includes before ordering! It's a choice of two items from designated breakfast pages! Some of the staff speak some English - and all are very helpful. I would stay here again Lynn Australian

Paradise!”
mai am guest house is paradise on earth. we stayed for 6 nights then went to siem reap for 4 days and now we are back again at this very tranquil and relaxing guest house for another 3 weeks. this place is about 3km away from the the very busy and crowded beach "scene" to the west. our very clean and basic room faces the south china sea and the sandy beach front and the view outside our room is amazing. the sound of the waves lull us to sleep at night. the other rooms face into a palm tree filled courtyard. hoa and her staff are friendly and very kind. the women who clean our room sing while they work. the food is also very good.

Warm and friendly hotel with lovely staff...”
Mai Am Hotel is on the quieter side of the Mui Ne Beach and it is everything it promises to be. The rooms are clean and adequate. The staff are helpful and friendly and the beach frontage is perfect for quiet reflection and enjoying the sun. I would definitely recommend it as an excellent value for money choice of accommodation.

A great beach front location”
It's a great resort type guest house with access to a nice beach. The staff is very welcoming and maintains the place really well. The hotel is in the quieter central part of Mui Ne with great restaurants and bars close by. We originally booked for 1 night but ended up staying 6 more. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Cost effective hotel with private beach”
I checked in Mai An Guest House at 09:00pm which is close to Sinh Tourist office of Mui Ne with reception/front desk located at the restaurant, the hotel is lovely but the service there was not really satisfying, firstly of all the working staff at reception could not speak fluent English, secondly they are not friendly to Chinese clients(maybe I was too sensitive but I saw them very hospital to a white man on the second day); There is no telephone in the hotel room, no wake up call service either, The reception promised me to wake me up at 05:00 next morning because there would be fishing tour waiting for me from sinh tourist office in the early morning, but it turned out nobody knocked my door on the second day; After fishing tour when I was back to my room at around 11:30 I found out my room still dirty, I had to talk with the reception again asking housekeeping to clean my room in the afternoon(I can see from their angry face they hated it, but I thought it a reasonable request to clean the room in time), I hope all this mess was about misunderstanding between the hotel's working staff and me; Anyway personly I still love this hotel for its good location, great view of the sea, quiet, courtyard style, lovely bungalow really deserve the room rate, definitely I will stay at Mai Am Guest House again in the future.

Nice beach location”
Nice lay out of the guest house. One disadvantage of Mui Ne that the town has not any character. It is just one long street where all the hotels are located. Opposit of the mai Am guest house we ate several times at the Pin Cafe. Good food and also cheap motor bikes for rent.

Lovely Resort by the beach”
i enjoyed my stay at mai am guest house a lot. initially i booked for a single bed but later my friend decided to join me at mui ne and so i asked for a change to twins bed at no extra cost. the staff were helpful and friendly. it is also convenient as it is just a few minute walks from different tour agencies including sinhtourist.

We arrived in the late evening after a four hour bus ride from Saigon. We were warmly greeted and check-in was easy and fast. We booked a beach front room, which was very clean and big enough for the two of us to move around comfortably. It was worth the splurge. The beach was just two metres away and lulled by the sound of waves, we slept soundly each night. The hotel is in a quiet location, away from the night life. Suitable for families with young children or holiday makers who want a peaceful stay. Hotel also provides bicyles for a whole day's rent at a very affordable price. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have extended it had we not committed ourselves elsewhere. Very good value for money and will return to Mai Am again.

great experience”
My experience with My Am was the best for my VN trip. I was hurt in the eyebrow and the wound was bleeding. The staff was very friendly and patient. She helped me to clean the wound twice and really took care of me. Guests in My Am are also great. They are friendly and kind. All in all, it was a great experience to stay here. I'd like to go back to stay in the place if I'd ever go to Mui Ne Again.

Nice location”
Reception was great, room was nice...unfortunately we did not book a sea-view room, which we will be sure to do if we stay here in the future. The garden area was very nice, as was the complimentary breakfast we received each morning. Staff would bring drinks / food to your room, to the beach, or wherever you requested it. Private beach area was nice. In this area there wasn't a lot of actual beach though. A small rectangle of man-made beach was built up for guests though, which was adequate. The guest house also had bike rentals, which was nice. We rode to the red sand dunes, and through the local villages. It is a short cab ride or about a 30 minute walk along the main drag to where most of the action is, which is nice. You can rent beach towels from the reception for dong per day. Our room - nothing fancy but clean and comfortable - was cleaned every day. If you want it serviced, you place a sign on the door any time before noon. The rooms also have electronic safes. There are also a number of restaurants and shops relatively close by.

al though we only stayed one night here, before we went in to the main part of mui ne, we had a really good time. this hotel has a great garden with a decent restaurant. the property extends right out on the beach and has a great view and beach beds. it was quite windy in mui ne, so the waves were big and it wasn't really the best time to swim. to get to the main part of mui ne you need to take a taxi or motorbike, as it is quite far. the upside to this is that there are no kiters or surfers there and there are not as many people. the room itself was bright and spacious, nice in every way.

Clean Resort for a best price”
A friend and I stayed for only one night. Rooms are clean with AC and fan, modern bathroom and WiFi and TV. Private beach is small, in off season size is enough. Showers and toilettes are available at the beach. For the very low price you can get a nice meal, even you can't compare with three-star restaurant. Anyway, fruits and other stuff were fresh and tasty. We rent bicycles for 2 $ / day, even they're old and sometimes broken. But it was okay. If you don't need a typically western resort style, because you're travelling Vietnam and not America, I would highly recommended Mai Am.

Classy little beach huts!”
Wow what a fantastic treat this turned out to be.... I am back packing around the world but decided to upgrade as my friend was over from England... $15 a night each including breakfast and just divine... Bed changed every day, delicious food to eat and a sunbed on the beach to chill on! This place is as described.... Only downside was hardly any beach but that's Mui Ne not just this hotel! Highly recommended for all types of traveller's... Young and old!

Mai Am guest house is a good place to stay!”
I had a good time in Mai Am Guest House. It is very close to the beach. You can lie down on the beach all day. The atmosphere is great, very quite, so relaxable. I live in Ho Chi Minh city - busy and noisy one, so Mai Am Guest House is definitely a good place to stay. The price is quite suitable. P/S: the internet not good in here but it didn't make me feel uncomfortable.

Modest but nice.”
We stayed here for 4 nights...was a very short walk from the bus that took us to Mui Ne from Saigon. Check-in was prompt and courteous. Complimentary breakfast was simple but adequate, with a number of options to choose from. The rooms all have private entrances from the outside, and include safes. Staff were pleasant in all areas, and the grounds were well maintained. The only thing I found odd (and this is apparently due to sand shifting) was the small man-made beach set on blocks in front of the real beach (which during high-tide is non-existent). It is nice that the property is on the beach side of the main road though. We rented bicycles a number of times during our stay (2 usd per day) and rode to the red sand dunes, as well as to other small village areas. Beach towels are available for rent, as room towels cannot be taken from the room. Sun beds were nice. Decent value for money...I would likely try out a different hotel on a return trip, but would not hesitate recommending this hotel as a good, clean, budget option to travellers.

Small guest house but Bigger service mind”
We arrive at guest house after midnight by sleeper bus from HCMC. but staff are still waiting for us and room was prepare. I can book the tour and bus ticket from the guest house without any surcharge which is different with hotel in HCMC. Their English quite not good but absolutely they can communicate and always answer when we ask for information and suggest for other things. Room is OK but lower than our expect anyway it's resonable for the price but the service more than 4-5 stars Hotel in town.

Great location for beach lovers but not convenient”
The view of the hotel is so nice for a guest house. It is close to the beach and i did enjoyed the sunbeds during daytime as well as in the evening. The food were good. Especially with the breakfast, not many selections but it was adequate. Wished they had the refrigerator and the hairdryer in the room. Also, they should do the maintenance more frequently for the wooden equipments in the room. The electricity sockets and switches were not placed well to bring the convenience for the guests. Especially did not like the damp clothes we have got from the laundry service in the hotel. Generally, not so bad for the price i paid.

quiet but bad bed”
Mai Am Guest house is so convenient to The Sinh Tourist and restaurant. We stayed in the Standard Garden View Room. It's quiet and beautiful. Internet is good. However, staffs are not hospitable. The big bed is assembled by two small beds and uncomfortable after sleeping. The door and windows are made of wood and glass, and the lock is simple which made me feel unsafe. The curtains are not long enough and allow lights through in. No good for couples personally speaking.
