Good Location! Would choose this over Hatten for its quietness & shorter waiting time for lift”
Stayed here for 2 nights. Location wise, it is very near to Hatten Hotel (3 minutes walk), also walking distance to Jonker Street. Since Hatten Hotel provides shuttle service to Jonker Street, so I actually walked to Hatten Hotel to use their shuttle service to Jonker Street. The hotel maintains high service quality, friendly staff. Facilities are awesome. Room is clean & cosy. Price wise, also comparatively cheaper. I would stay here again, definitely.

Good and convenient stay”
Stayed at Novotel Melaka for 2 nights. Convenient parking space for those who drive there (Take note that there is a RM30 of refundable deposit for season parking). Room is clean and breakfast was wonderful. One downside would be that iron and ironing board was not provided in the room and when requested, was asked to return them within 1hr time. Really hope they could provide iron and ironing board across all rooms in future. Overall, satiafied with our stay.

Very new & convenient located hotel. ”
We arrived in a group, parking was being arranged before we reach. When we reached felt like VIPs, the staffs is waiting for our arrivals. Very friendly staffs, nice & clean room, room with rain shower etc... Lots of eatery opp the hotel, foot massage shop & walking distance like 10 mins to a big shopping mall & tourist location Jonker street. Will stay there again.

Deserves 5 Star ”
I am stay in their executive room. The room is spacious, clean and nice decoration. The view is fantastic....you can enjoy the sea and sunset. They also provide espresso machine in the room. The location of hotel just close to the Pahlawan Mall (working distance through Hatten). The breakfast is superb with various choices of food. Absolutely will stay in this hotel again.

First time staying at this hotel in Malacca. There are pros and cons. Pros 1. Friendly staff 2. Nice clean room 3. Nice christmas eve buffet dinner but most of the foods were a bit cold even the foods were served at 7pm. 4. Great security. 5. Smooth check out procedure 6. Walkable to jonker street around 20mins and close to dataran pahlawan (10mins) Cons 1. Long check in waiting list but after talking to the staff that checked in that they were working non stop from 8am till 4pm++ during my check in. Can't blame the staff but a reminder to hotel management to increase the number of staff work during festive season to reduce the waiting time and for the welfare of the staff. 2. Swimming pool provided but some guests still ignore the swimming attire rule by wearing shirt and pant that totally not comply to the swimming pool attire. 3. No hand towels prepared at the hotel room 4. Wifi is a bit slow Overall, I will still recommend the hotel as I like the location that close to many tourist places.

Convenient and clean”
Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best that I‘ve eaten with freshly baked croissants, eggs to order etc. Near to many nice restaurants and short walking distance to mall. Staff were friendly and efficient. Only thing is that the fridge in both our rooms wasn’t working.

What a nice place”
This is a good hotel. Well appointed rooms, comfortable bed, great location (surrounded by eateries and massage establishments) just 5 mins walk from the mall. Good value for money. Secure multistorey carpark. Service is fine. Some of the downsides include the average quality of the breakfast and a simply awful wifi connection.

Family outing”
Went for a short trip with my parents and my auntie. Booked Novotel as I am an Accor member and always trusted the brands listed. Check-in was smooth and fast, the staff are polite. The request I put in was fulfilled, overall very pleased. The only thing I did not really like was the buffet breakfast, but again, breakfast in hotel usually didn't has a wow factor for me. Think Novotel would need to purchase or rollover their coffee mugs fast enough. I am lucky to have use mugs and the rest of the tourists were using soup bowls for coffee.

This hotel has everything one needs. Location, comfort and facilities especially for families. Posh hotel with nice ambience in the lobby... Staff gave out orange/apple juice while waiting for checkin. That was a nice gesture 👍🏼 Room was clean, bed was one of the most comfortable i have ever stayed in. love the fact that it was a smoke free hotel👍🏼 Also like that they have a kids play room. Breakfast was delicious too!! Location was good too... Dataran megamall is a walking distance and alot of eateries and cafes around the area. Without a doubt, Will definitely stay here again in Malacca! Thank you Novotel Malacca for the pleasant experience👍🏼

Value for money”
We stayed for 2 nights and the room was clean, the location was superbly located near to the Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade etc, only 5 mins walk. Friendly staff and the swimming pool was nice and airy. The only downside was the breakfirst as there was not many choices and the taste was just ok...I mean you don’t feel sorry for missing the breakfast as it was nothing special in term of choices and taste. As for the parking, there were ample of space but the process was a bit tedious where you park your car, go to the parking counter, ask for season pass by paying deposit RM30 (refundable) and you will have multiple entry pass. Without that you will have to pay everytime you are out of the facility which can be quite expensive. NEVER USE YOU TOUCH N GO CARD! Just proceed and apply for the season pass if you plan to go in and out frequently. Overall it was a good experience.

Room is clean and toilet is big too. I book 3 rooms. And the staff give me a connecting room. Good location too. Would be great if there more choices for buffet breakfast. Mine first choice of stay if I am back to MELAKA.

Comfortable and clean room ”
Bringing children out for travel is very sensitive on the cleanliness of the hotel room. Novotel is satisfied on my request. Staff is friendly too. But if you wanna check-in earlier, better think about it. Their check-in time is 3pm strict.

Great place to stay with older parents”
This was my second time staying in Novotel Malacca. Great place, lovely staff able to attend to me and my parents needs. The only issues I have was during breakfast, there were not enough staff, the noodle station was left unattended and coffee was not refilled at instance, have to wait for 30mins for them to refill. Overall, Novotel is nearby to Bandar Hilir and surround by malls around easy access.

Breakfast plenty of choices, friendly staff, got play station to play at family corner nearby lobby, my son love it. Room is big and clean. Worth the price. Parking no problem. Will definitely come again in future. Enjoyed the stay.

Booked the hotel at the very last min. Got the executive room for only SGD 65 and really satisfied with the room. From cleanliness to the location. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended. Walkable to halal eateries & pahlawan mega mall.

Excellent service and nice breakfast”
When we arrived there, there were long queue for three counter and it seem cannot move. They have system problem but supervisor came to resolve it and another staff notice i am in bad mood quickly transfer me to priority lane which only provide to their hotel card holder. Breakfast was good and have a lot choices especially i ate the most delicious blueberry puff pastry that i ever taste in my life.

We travel to Malaysia very often for both work and leisure and this is by far the best hotel we stayed in Malaysia! Eateries are just downstairs. Walking distance to Jonker St and some night markets. Simple breakfast was provided in our booking but it's ok cos we can save our stomach for the food out on the streets. Definitely will come bk here again!

Honest staff ”
Everything was awesome in this hotel. Surrounding lot of restaurant and café. I checked out at 11am and noticed my ipad was left in the room at 3pm. I immediately call them to check for me. Luckily they managed to keep my Ipad for me. Thanks to the honest team and I hope you guys can keep this up.

Almost perfect”
One of the best mid range hotels to stay at in Melaka. The rooms, car park and lift system are superior to (the hugely popular) Hatten Hotel’s. Location is great. The only downside is the very flat pilllows. If the management can provide good pillows, this would be the best place to stay at.
