They need to check first the aircon and lighting if it’s working or not before they let their guests stay. Their lights was not good, in the living area, lamp was broken and the lighting was too dim. On the bedroom area, there’s no enough lighting, only the 2 lamps were working, the light on the ceiling wasn’t. The AC only working on the living area. And think the door of the room needs to check or change because, ours were broken, i mean, theres a cracked along sides, you have to make force to lock the door. One thing more, the pillows and blanket were not clean. There was some hair sticks to the pillow and blanket. Thankfully, we bring our own blanket. Anyways, the hotel is cheap and good location.

Budget Option”
A local hotel that is priced accordingly. Room is fine, if a bit shabby around the edges. No hot water. Would normally be a problem; but did not bother complaining, as don't think I would be understood. Only stayed a few nights, when not many other options available.

Very good hotel with very bad staff”
The location is great, the price is great, the receptionists are great… the only thing that ruined my stay was their house keeping… I had to call them 5-6 times a day to make them come but still they won’t… very very bad service from the housekeeping, i stayed there more than 14 days because of the price and location but i had to clean the room by my self sometimes!!!!

تفاجأت في حمام الغرفة وجود شعر متساقط + منشفة الاستحمام مستخدمة ، فاضطريت أستخدم دعاسة الحمام للتجفيف بعد الاستحمام لكونها كانت نظيفة نظريا. بعد منتصف الليل تساقط علي جزء من سقف الحمام بسبب وجود تسربات من حمام الغرفة الموجودة فوقي ، و ما تم إصلاح المشكلة و لا إرسال فريق التنظيف و لا استبدال غرفتي أو ترقيتها. انتظرت طاقم خدمة الغرف إلى الساعة ٤ فجرا دون وصول أي أحد للتنظيف أو تقديم الخدمة المأمولة. تجربة مخيبة للآمال. I was surprised in the room bathroom with hair falling out + bath towel in use, so I had to use the bath mat to dry after shower because it was theoretically clean. After midnight, part of the bathroom ceiling fell on me due to leaks from the bathroom of the room above me, and the problem was not fixed, nor did the cleaning team send or replace or upgrade my room. I waited for the room service crew until 4am with no one coming to clean or provide the expected service. Disappointing experience.

It doesn’t deserve 4 star at all the room is old and over used furniture The door is wood and there’s crack in it The bathroom when I checked in was disaster and Clearly they didn’t clean it after the last customer it was really disgusting. Also I found around the room a lot of garbage from the previous customer they are not clean at all

Poor Service at the counter”
The room originally given was not having any towels soaps etc. in the bathroom. None of the electric sockets were working. Our phones ran out of battery. Upon complaint, the lady staff on the counter was very cooperative and promised to move us to another room. When we came after packing, her shift was over and the guy in her place was very rude and non cooperative. It took a long time for us to be moved to another room.

Poor Hotel”
I stayed for 10 days whilst on business travel in Jan 22 and I can safely say this is the worst hotel I have stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot of hotels). Countless issues and complaints, in summary: - upon checking into my room the room was dirty, wardrobe literally falling to pieces, stained carpet, curtains falling off, light bulbs not working, etc. - I had no towels when checking in. When I asked for a towel the housekeeping.looked surprised and eventually came with a bathrobe saying no towels available and they would bring tomorrow. They didn't! - Room not cleaned for 5 days. I complained after day 2, but nobody cleaned. Asked again day 4 but nobody. Eventually 5 day after numerous complaints I received some clean towels and room clean. This was the only clean during entire staying. - I overheard the housekeeping saying 'quarenteen'! I further discovered that many rooms on my floor were in fact guests in isolation. When I complained reception said not all rooms were, but some! When I asked why I was there, they said they had no other rooms when I booked and the online booking was accepted so had to put me somewhere?!?!!!! I was then told I could move rooms tomorrow ... Did this happen, no!!! - Gym is not a gym, but a room with some weights. Half the equipment is broken, including cross trainer, benches, etc. - All my complaints fell on deaf ears. I asked to see the Manager, but was 'not in today, but would contact me tomorrow'. Guess what ... He didn't! Overall, do not recommend this place to anyone even if on a tight budget. I only stayed as I got a tempting good deal, but was considering cutting my loses and checking out after day 3 of 10.

The rooms were very low lit and dirty, no essentials provided, even the bedsheets and pillow covers were not changed. Room not cleaned despite requests. Given the current covid situation - no sanitization provisions in place. - booked a delux room and suite.

When I arrive the hotel told me we can’t find your reservation and check with Agoda!!!!!!! Then after fight with reception and hotel manager they found room for me after 4 hours!!!! Room was not clean , no towel , light is very bad!!!! Actually it is bad experience in MENA hotel which I will never repeat

I was expected this hotel 4 star and it was good but the room a lots of lacking no refrigerator especially the electric circuit if you off the main light because you can’t sleep with light on then the plugging for charging the gadgets it’s off also. only to find out that is only one connection with the lights and plugging that is not good and very bad! So then you can not charged for the whole night because of one connection only..this is my first time as traveler I’d never experienced before like this kind of hotel room! For the first time I complain here in Agoda I’d never give a comment or complain before because i was satisfied but this mena hotel i can not recommend.

Bad Disappointing ”
When I arrived to check the receptionists Hakami and Amer did not find my reservation. They also mentioned that another traveler had the same in previous night and waited 2 hours but no result. They let him do new reservation directly also lower price and recommended me to do the same. I didn’t accept. I left my contact details and went for some time and came beck because this hotel doesn’t call me or answer their phones. The same results happened no reservation found. I requested the hotel email to confirm in writing. They confirmed receiving my email but refused to reply in writing !!!! I requested the contact for manager Elsayed or Elsaeed, the email in business card also bounced back but they received it !!!! and never replied!! I have been using Agoda for many years and still using it after and before this incident I travel a lot every month and every week. Mena Hotel Riyadh is the only hotel that did not find my reservation so everyone be careful. Regards.
