Exceptional”
Have stayed here before fantastic location close to Docks Liverpool 1 and Matthew St,was upgraded to a privilege room which had amazing view of Princes Dock.Staff friendly & helpful breakfast well organised so not too crowded at anyone time you get a half hour time slot. Some parts of hotel are quite tired but this is understandable for a large hotel in the present climate.we thought us was excellent value for money over a bank Hol & beatle week.

Great value for money”
Great value for money. I stayed the first night that hotels re opened to the public following the covid-19 lockdown. The signage was very clear for what to walk, how to keep socially distant etc. Hand sanitiser stations upon arrival. Staff was very friendly and thorough during check in. I asked for a specific room which they were able to do, which exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and well laid out, and toiletries were supplied. Views were spectacular. Great location- around 10 minutes to Liverpool 1 and the shops. Lots of coffee shops, a few bars and restaurants local. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to people.

Decent but opportunistic pricing!”
We recently stayed for just one night as we were watching the Liverpool FC match and this was the best properties remaining. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the room was clean with a comfortable bed and decent location within a short walk of many bars and restaurants. My only and significant gripe was the price, which was several times the normal room rate for a Sunday and I assume that the hotel feel it is within their rights to charge a demand vs supply price on game days when many extraordinary tourists are visiting the town. In this respect, this could possibly have been the most expensive room I have stayed in, despite the fact I have been to the USA, Asia, Africa, Australasia and South America during my past 20 years of travelling. While the hotel gets an OK, the opportunistic pricing felt desperate from a group as big as Mercure, where I have been an Accor member for a number of years.

Football stay over ”
Room nice and clean, comfortable bed, bathroom a small disappointment not alot of space. Was disturbed around 2am by someone banging on a door. Otherwise an ok stay a little overpriced compared to other hotels I've stayed in without breakfast included for that price.

Extortionate price for a room that was so small, bed was sub standard and pillows were hard”
Only thing I would score it on was the beautiful view

Small dated rooms”
Starting off with the good - the bed was lovely & comfy & we had a great sleep. However, the room is very small & dated. The 2 tables in the room we're extremely wobbly, couldn't put anything on them. When we asked for a couple of glasses for the room we got told the bar didn't open until 5pm. The iron board cover was paper thin. My other half had no area to except for the bathroom to do her hair & makeup. The basics let this place down. Godd lcoation, looks nice from the outside & the reception area but the room are in need of renovation.

Bedroom walls could do.with a touch up. View was nice in the morning looking out on mersey. They also have a good sized outer drinking area where there is lovely view of city and mersey seeing boats coming in and out.

great location”
Great location and we had fantastic views.. the staff are all polite and helpful. the breakfast was as you would expect, good variety and good quality produce. We only had some snacks from the bar but it was very nice. We stayed for my wife's birthday and the staff left some treats in the room and a card. a very nice touch, thank you.

Noisy, great location, facilities fair”
Pros: great location, 1 minute away from waterfront, great view but must specify during booking. Cons: noisy - can hear neighbouring room and the street eventhough we were at 6th floor, room & bathroom quite small, dirty bed linen, breakfast & food room service not great
