New hotel in Hanoi”
Meritel is just 5 months in operation when we stayed in 29th Mar 2023. Check-in at the couch is a smooth process with welcome drinks. The room is very clean and well decorated as I remarked the stay is to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great location, walking distance to lake, train street and old quarters. Highly recommended!

A merry time at Meritel”
Meritel Hanoi is a beautiful hotel within the Old Quarter to base yourself while in the city. Easy walking distance to everything. The service from the staff was excellent. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely rooms and very comfortable bed. I ate breakfast at the hotel one morning and was in buffet breakfast heaven, I certainly indulged in the variety of options available. The rooftop is an oasis amongst bustling Hanoi below with a pool and nice bar area. Great spot to stay!

Good facilities, good breakfasts, enjoyed the beautiful rooftop bar (and the cocktails), excellent service and friendliness from almost all staff, from housekeeping to restaurant to reception (a special mention of Sang, an energetic and willing staffer who seemed to pop up in various roles during my stay, always with the cheeriest of greetings - I dubbed him "the manager').

Great Hotel & Location”
In the heart of the Old Quarter. Walk to all the dining, party, and shopping spots with ease. The staff was great! Always greeted with a smile and interest in what we planned for the day, to which they would make suggestions and tips. The breakfast was fantastic and a great start to the day (go light though. There is so much great food in Ha Noi, you will want to try it all), The pool and rooftop bar was a nice rest from the hot afternoon sun. I would stay here again and recommend it to my frieds to stay while visiting.

We really enjoy our stay at this hotel during our business trip in Hanoi. My wife and I really enjoyed the wonderful breakfast that they had to offer, the exceptional service of the staff, and the center location that is very near to the.Hoan Kiem lake. We would stay here again, if we were to go back to Hanoi for the business.

I've been this hotel for one day and it was so nice to stay, especially the staffs. The next morning I needed to go Halong Bay and was waiting for them to pick up. I was worried as they might miss us. Then the staff of the reception asked me to get the phone number of the cruise and called for making sure to pick us up. It was so touching and very nice memory.

It’s a gem. So posh! Modern amenities and wonderful staff. Balcony was fantastic! Never seen a hotel balcony so large. Rooms were great and front staff were accommodating. But, dinner service was so slow. They seemed understaffed. Only 3 groups eating. It took over an hour to get our pho and small order. Breakfast service was amazing though!

A relatively small hotel. Good location. Nice facilities with a small ssimming pool and a rooftop bar where you can order both food and drinks. Breakfast was nice with lots of options. We were able to store luggage at the hotel while we went to Halong Bay and Sapa.

Firstly I would definitely recommend The Meritel hotel, in Hanoi. And I would stay there again and again providing the staff at the receptionist and the restaurant staff remain in tact. Let’s talk about the welcoming staff as I entered the hotel, I was greeted by the bell hop to quickly cross the street, while another attended to my luggage. I was given a cool drink an a chance to relax while they proceeded to check me in. Jeannie was on duty and attended to me with such respect and courtesy. She was exceptional she truly deserves a promotion. There was not a need that I had, that she was not willing to undertake with successful completion. A class in her department. Even the new girl went above to assist. From recommendations of restaurants all great choices, and giving excellent directions. Reception area went above and beyond. The spa was good for the value. Transportation from the hotel to airport excellent driver. Very courteous and assistance with my luggage on point. Vivian and her crew for bfast, simply delish. My green tea barista simply EXCELLENT. The rooms can do with a make over, very small and dated. House keeping was ok, but the hotel definitely needs to invest in some new linen’s. The towels has seen better days. The pool very nice, and the bar with staff great. All in all a beautiful stay at Meritel, I would return if only for the way the staff makes you feel. Which is simply terrific and awesome and knowing the receptionist got my back. Much thanks for a wonderful stay, I will be back. And my memory of my first stay in Hanoi was memorable because of the staff. Greatly appreciated your kindness and support. WendyLou Leslie
