Perfect Getaway Spot”
Perfect spot: nice rooms with comfortable beds and plenty of space, sandy beach right in front of the room, plenty of lounge chairs to enjoy the wonderful breeze and calming sounds of the beach, attached restaurant and bar with good food and friendly service, cheap motorbike rental at your front door, and all within close proximity to the major night clubs, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet tranquility of the outdoors (in order to recover from the morning hangover in peace lol – if that’s your thing). The owners were really friendly down to Earth people that made the stay a truly memorable experience. I combed every location of the island in my 3-days and couldn’t find any other hotel that could have given me that perfect Thailand island hopper experience. Took me quite a few months to get around to writing this review… I hardly ever write reviews (second one ever), but I felt this place was too good to keep to myself. Enjoy.

Lovely location! In my personal opinion just to expensive for what it was, which is just a slightly shabby beach hut. Cut my stay short and returned to the mainland had booked 6 nights, stayed 3. Very good photography that makes it look a lot better than what it is...

Clean, spacious, modern bungalows with a little patio facing the sea. Very helpful staff. Only downside is that there is a road going right in front of the resort, which can be noisy at times. Also, black-out curtains would be welcome

I was biten by a dog when i was in that island. The next day i had a long chat with the white man who runs the place. If you are a party animal and wants to be in a place where there are a lot of activities this is not for you. Far from every thing happening. But very close to the pier

Very basic, acceptable, but you can do better”
The convenience of the location is debatable. It's close to the main pier, and you can easily walk there. It's also close to the village. However, it's in the opposite direction from most of the beaches and action, so you may end up doing more walking than you'd like, unless you rent a scooter. It's a fairly quiet area. The bungalows are "on" the beach, but there is a small road in front with a fair amount of scooter traffic during the day. (I didn't hear much traffic or other noise at night.) The beach is OK, and you'll likely have it to yourself, but there are much better beaches elsewhere on the island. Inside, the bungalows were clean but very basic. Fridge, AC and WiFi were fine. No minibar or safe. There were gaps around the doors and windows, so I worried about mosquitoes, but I didn't get any bites. The doors didn't seem to lock very securely from the inside. The staff seemed friendly enough. Bottom line, this was acceptable but I think there are much nicer places to stay.

Good place in Koh Samet”
Had a good two days there. Beach directly opposite Cabin. Bar stayed open late into the night. Short walk to town shops, main pier, food , 7/11 etc. Enjoyable stay for us.

Cheap hotel with AC and near beach ”
No one reciption when arrived ! Had to wait for 20 min for arrival of guest services ! Also they took 500 bhat deposit for key ! Near beach and not far from main pier ! Room was small but cozy with good bed ! Limited thai tv channels ! Foul smell from toilet which made the whole trip unpleasant

Brilliant ”
Room's clean, made so you can go on any beach, easy to sweep sand out off. Great little cove just 10 minutes walk to main pier.. 15-20 minutes walk to main beach. Shops, bike rental all in in area.. i suggest rent off hotel. Staff fantastic English speaking. Beach bar and food brilliant, just chilled and no pressure.. will definitely stay again. If your a light sleeper then the road could be an issue.. i found it fine.
