Unique design”
We stayed at an Ox room on the top floor. That's why we had a big balcony which was great! The bed is big, the room is clean. The staff was so kind to let us leave our luggage there before checking in as we left for a motorbike trip around Mae Hong Son. If you stay here on Sundays, the Sunday night market is right in front of the hotel!

Rooster room so good decoration.”
This is my 3rd time for Mo rooms. I choose Deluxe room type for Rooster room and that was great ! Rooster room pretty shiny and soft style I love it ! One thing that I don’t like is about parking lot. There is no parking lot but I can park my car front of hotel on the street actually. Staffs very nice. There no doubt to come back next trip.

Great stay - I'll be back! ”
The location great. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The room and communal areas were beautiful. If there is one thing to improve I would say maybe my room (Tiger Room) would be better with frosted glass, because if you don't make sure the curtains are closed, all people passing by can see clearly into room (and bathroom!). But other than that, perfect! Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in CNX. :) 🙏 💯

Creative boutique hotel in Chiang Mai old town”
Still one of the most creative hotels in town. Very happy to stay here again after over 6 years. Select your room well as every room is different, according to the characteristics of the zodiac animal. Rooms are not spacious, but well appointed with great details. Location is great and you can walk to most old town venues, ie. temples, local shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, Kad Luang main market, river, etc.

This hotel would be nice as an Art Gallery but not as a place to stay in. Staff are very nice but the management of their services can be better. I hope they can improve their services in the future

Unique boutique accommodation”
unfortunately we only had the time to stay one night at this fantastic hotel. the staff were superb and ever so very helpful. it must be noted that mo rooms will not be everyone's cup of tea but for us it was sensational. it was for these differences compared to every other place that we selected to stay here and has probably got your attention to read these reviews. the place is right amongst everything we needed in chiang mai and manages to have such a laid back and relaxed feeling about it. we stayed in the goat(deluxe type room) which we were really happy about. the staff are great and they are always more than happy to show you each of the rooms to make your stay comfortable. make sure to take a dip in the pool to refresh yourself whilst knocking back some delicious cocktails during happy hour.

We were arranged the DOG room on the 3rd floor which wasn't that special compared to other 11 rooms of Mo Rooms. But we are find with it, given the fact that it's quiet, nice and clean. We also had a little balcony by our room, which was definitely a plus. But there was one thing that bothered us, and the staffs weren't handling it very well. I called the reception that we didn't see a hairdryer in our room after we checked-in. The staff replied she will send someone to bring one for us in a minute. But the staff who came just entered our room without invitation and did some ground search and left. 5 mins later, another staff came and did the same thing and insisted that there WAS a hairdryer in this room. I found it really annoying, insulting and unprofessional. Besides this unpleasant experience happened in the very beginning, we pretty much enjoyed our stay at Mo Rooms, and we might consider to come back if we ever visit Chiang Mai again.

Supercool hotel! but room not very functionable ”
This hotel is so different from any other hotel I stayed in. So different in fact, that the bathroom walls are see-through =\ We stayed 5 nights in this hotel only because we were tired of moving around and wanted to stay put for a good couple of days. The location is PERFECT - it is right outside of the tha phae gate, and all the tuk-tuk, taxi drivers knew where it was without hesitation. It is right across the street from a pharmacy and next to some really good coffee shops, massage parlors, etc. As for the room, we stayed in the Snake Room on the top floor. The aesthetic of the hotel is very cool - but the room itself is tinier than expected. The bathroom was very narrow and the bathroom walls were clear. So everytime one of us had to use the toilet or take a shower, the other would have to turn away. We did have the option of changing to another room, but we were just overcome by fatigue from our trip that we just never did. Breakfast was delicious, and staff was extremely sweet and attentive. I would stay in this hotel again, only if the other rooms had actual bathroom walls.

Boutique hotel at its finest”
Mo Rooms was a great respite for us as we travelled from Myanmar to Chiang Mai. It's location right outside the thae pae gate was great cos it means we could walk to the Sunday walking street and the nigh bazaar. Excellent silver shops right across the street and bookshop lane round a turn. Taste from Heaven is on the same side of the street for very good vegetarian food. Rooms are so interesting with only 12 rooms themed according to the Chinese horoscope. It seems that every design detail has been looked into at this boutique hotel. Breakfast was excellent with really good coffee (again, we came over from Myanmar, so we don't take freshly brewed coffee for granted). Staff was exceedingly helpful too. If I have to find something to complain about, it would be the mozzies at the pool area.

Zodiac inspired artsy rooms”
2 nights in Monkey room @ Mo Rooms, personally i felt it had the most interesting interior of the 12 rooms. I liked the interior and the convenient location of the hotel. The highlight of the room has be to its cave-like rattan bed, which is pretty comfortable. Cleanliness was fine, although i do have to mention that upon check in, there was a lingering sewage smell at the toilet area.. but went away after a couple of flushes (thank goodness). My only gripe was that the rooms lacked a few standard features, such as a wardrobe or at least somewhere to hang clothes and towels. Safe deposit boxes are only available at the reception downstairs. Overall i enjoyed my stay there and am very pleased with the amiable hotel staff. Note: Conveniently located near the night bazaar, worarot market. Minutes walk to the moat's main Thapae gate. Some may be comforted to find a familiar name like Starbucks right after the gate. Easy place for a first timer in Chiang Mai.
