Mon Cheri Cruise is so PERFECT in every aspect. I would surely recommend this cruise to everyone who wishes to spend memorable time in Ha Long Bay. 1. Really really nice, friendly, polite and helpful staff, all are so great that they make the trip so enjoyable. We particularly remember Miss Jenny for her cheerful tour guide service and all arrangement on cruise, Mr. Nahn for his interesting magic show. Miss Lan for her great service during all meals. Their service truly deserve many tips from the customers. (tips are all voluntary, don't worry - no one asked for any tips) 2. Rooms and facilities are all well-maintained and clean. Our room is Ocean suite with a balcony. Larger suite like this has a massage chair inside, we enjoyed the massage chair a lot. Balcony gives you a magnificent view in Ha Long Bay, so relaxing having a cup of coffee or a glass of cocktail there. 3. great food throughout the trip, especially the lunch buffet and Pho in the breakfast time! 100% wonderful!

Ship was really nice and clean as in pictures. We had bathtub and massage chair in our room and it was simply amazing, especially with the views. Food was really great. Lunch as buffet with plenty of choices. Dinner was like in luxury restaurant, 5 course menu, all meals were delicious. Early breakfast as buffet with possibility to make eggs any style. Late brunch before leaving with free drink. Drinks were little bit overpriced, but not that much as we expected. Each meal they also provided free water or sometimes juice so no need to worry about that. Activities were fun and well organized. Staff was nice and very friendly.

I finally chose the Mon Cheri and it was a great decision. This ship is beautiful with a staff that truly enjoys their work. Upon arrival you’re brought into the dining room and was assigned a table. I was a solo traveler and was lucky enough to sit beside two fellow Canadians. There are two options for their ship, 2 day one night which seems to be the most popular and 3 day 2 nights. Each choice comes with prescheduled activities which you can bypass if it’s not to your liking. Kayaking through caves, exploring mountain caves and on the two night option a visit to a village on bikes. This ship has several choices for accommodation. The prices vary from reasonable for a single to slightly excessive for the presidential suite (I took that one). One has to remember that all food and excursions are included in the cost and the food is extraordinary. They have a full spa or you can have an in room massage, there is a top floor bar to enjoy late into the evening. Wifi is good and included

We had a fantastic two days on the Mon Chéri cruise. Every part of the experience was well thought through to create the best customer experience. From pre cruise communication and transfer from Hanoi through to the excursions - we couldn’t fault anything. The staff were really friendly and attentive and the facilities were lovely. The barman (Mr Nahm)even entertained our teenagers with magic tricks and card games and I saw the staff taking care of another family’s baby so they could relax and eat. We loved the kayaking in the caves and tai chi at 6am on the top deck. An unforgettable two days. Definitely recommend.

We highly recommend the three day/two night trip! Great staff, delicious food, gorgeous views. The day trips are fun and well organized. The spa is lovely. We have to commend Mr Lam for his wonderful day tour, sense of humour and excellent customer care. He took care of my elderly mother so well and showed the rest of us a really great time. He made our trip! The room could have done with a little attention and care, the room smelled badly, the safe was missing, as was the fridge, and the bathroom light didn’t work. We wondered if maybe pirates had been in the room. The staff were very responsive and fixed most of the issues except for the bathroom which still smelled like a pirates den. Still well worth it!
