Location of the hotel was great & it’s walking distance from the beach. Breakfast 👎🏾”
Location was good & the room was clean. But room had a musky smell probably due to carpet. Breakfast could do with an improved & offering better choice for vegetarians..

Awful, noisy, pokey and unplesant ”
Images displayed for the room were misleading in terms of space and the bathroom. It's very pokey, tiny bathroom and shower, with very poor water pressure and had to run the shower for well over 5 minutes before the water started even getting warm. Extremely noisy room - I could hear everything in the rooms next to me, including the occupants conversations, coughs and what they were watching on TV, and the interleading door in the corridor slams loudly everytime someone walks through it, which can be heard from within my room each time. Even with the discount this room is not worth the price and is unpleasant.

Old hotel but value for money”
This hotel is old but clean and charming. Located in the heart of Bournemouth and easily access from CBD, beach and BIC. The staffs are warm, friendly and helpful. Short walk from BIC, bus stop and Bournemouth garden. Strategic and value for money !

Immaculately clean and friendly short stay hotel”
If you want luxury and five stars or a backpacker hotel look elsewhere. If you want a welcoming, very clean place with a super breakfast at sensible prices then The Best Western Montague is perfect. The rooms are modestly sized, the shower room ditto but they are fresh and welcoming. The little bar is fine and they serve food (I did not eat there) and the breakfast is first class..lovely selection. I've stayed several times and cannot fault it at the price. I will return next year. BB

Pros : free internet as in all Best Western in UK free parking although small : there was no more place for my car Cons : staff not very helpful - too cold and not enough professional (paybe seasonal or temp staff) rooms too small and bed not enough comfortable price too high for the value of this hotel In summary : good to have free internet and parking. However, rooms too small and staffs too cold. Too expensive for what the hotel can offer and despite the competition (large concentration of other hotels in the same area)

The hotel was within walking distance of Bournemouth town centre. Coming back slightly more difficult as there is quite a steep hill. Hotel was clean and very friendly Breakfast was excellent. All in all for a 3star hotel would highly recommend it.
