Nice hotel with great room”

This is my second time to Haiphong and was really impress by the hotel front and lobby. They can easily accommodate 10 cars parking there. The rooms were big, nice and clean. However, all the staff can only speak very little English and that make communication a bit difficult. The hotel is also near the Big C supermaket.

Good value hotel”

i stay in a lot of hotels in vn and this one was pretty good. good internet, good bed, decent sized room, great hot water and water pressure and decent service. also it is within walking distance of the local mall for a movie or some restaurants. if i come back to hai phong again i will defiantly be staying there.

Clean and Comfortable Hotel”

I had a pleasant stay in Monte Carlo Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and even offered to bring the breakfast to my room. However, the breakfast is nothing fantastic, only Vietnamese noodle or bread with egg. The hotel is quite near a two shopping mall and a few restaurant and cafe. They also provide personal hotel service. Very reasonal and comfortable hotel for the price.

the 1st time that i came to monte carlo haiphong, it was much better. the hotel need to be upgraded since it's getting old & old.

Beautiful Hotel & good location”

the hotel is very new and beautiful, with large lobby and parking space. the rooms are big, clean and very comfortable. the location are very good, near big c supermarket, shopping area and many eating outlet. however, the receptionist speak very little english but they are kind and helpful. they also provide in house taxi and is very nice and comfortable.

This is my second time staying in this hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious with wifi. The staff are friendly and some can also speaks English. The hotel also has their own hotel taxi which make it very convenient for traveller who needs daily transport. The hotel serve good breafast and is quite near to a big shopping centre.

people cannot speak english fluently but you can feel they tried their best.internet is fine. room condition is good as clean.I didnt find any bad. just you need a car to move around. the boy at the hotel will help you and does not cheat you for travel distance by the meter.

Easy access to the airport - but that's about it as far as location goes. Staff was very helpful with helping me figure out my taxi/ferry trip to Cat Ba and woman at the front desk was super friendly. She even sent up an awesme complimentary Vietnamese breakfast in the morning before my departure - it was great! Bathroom was not very clean - smelled weird and floor was wet when I arrived. Recommend only for short term or as a transition hotel between two places.

Very poor breakfast”

The hotel is quite far from the city center, but not very far from the airport. Unfortunately also far from railway station. The hotel was clean. But breakfast was really very poor. The staff was not speking English well.

Spacious Newly Remodeled Hotel”

My stay was relatively short (2 nights), but during that time I was constantly in and out of the hotel both day and night. The staff had some challenges with English, but were fluent enough to make for a pleasant stay.

Nice and spacious rooms, dodgy location”

the rooms were quite nice and generously laid out. the only downside to this hotel was its location which seemed rather dodgy.

You have to Taxi everywhere”

I arrived at night, 8pm. Wanted to wander down road and get dinner. Had to take "Courtesy" car to a Restaurant. Courtesy car was a taxi? There is nothing around this Hotel. Little or no English spoken.

location is bad. cannot reach any restaurant, entertainments in walking distance. Everywhere need a taxi. good for playing golf as it was close to the golf course. spent 4 night at this hotel, but the last 2 night could not sleep due to the rain dropping noise through windows gap. it is continuous noise as it was raining the whole night (the noise of raining drop like firework sounds at Lunar New Year for the whole night without stops! Bathroom was flooded after taking bath. the wardrobe was ready to fall down on me, whenever I tried to open it!!! Breakfast was poor selection, so I better went out for breakfast!

very disappointing to be sure at good room, I booked the one from the bigger rooms executive bud there was smoke smell and I have asked non-smoking room also the room conditions where not good, cigaret brun-spots and others.

Boring and dirty place”

When I came here for the VIP room I booked via Agoda, they gave me a normal room just been cleaned up but there was still dirty with dust, cockroaches and mosquitoes. I complained but they did not change the room

Hôtel confortable, propre et très acceuillant , le personnel est très disponible! l'hôtel est bien situé pour des petites virées dans le centre ville qui peut être accessible à pied! si vous aimez marcher !! ;-) le soir à 500m il y a un petit lac artificiel avec ballade et activités en plein air! (restauration..) rapport qualité prix confortable! attention le petit déjeuner est vietnamien, sinon prévoir un supplément, de plus le panier à provision présenté dans la chambre n'est pas gratis!!!! si on utilise on paye!!!! ah oui la langue de communication en dehors du vietnamien est l'anglais! bon séjour!!!
