Not so nice room”
We stayed here for 4 nights havin booked the cheaper rooms with a fan. But we didn't expect the room to be what it was. The bed was on the floor which I wasn't too bothered about until we had an attack of ants which they ate my back alive through the night. The toilet as well was a squat and drop which I think they should advertise or just change because it was disgusting. Even worse the shower was over the toilet. The whole experience ruined our stay in Koh mook. But it's probably our own fault for not getting an air con and staying in a bamboo hut with lots of creepy crawlies about. The room didn't feel clean but was tidy when we got in. It is quite noisy from the long tail boats starting up early in the morning. The sunrises on that side but sets on the Charlie beach side. The bar is cool as it looks over the sea, but never had food whenever we asked for something to eat. The other more expensive rooms looked nicer when we poked our head in but for the same price you could probably find somewhere a lot nicer on the island. The staff were so lovely and helpful trying to organise trips for us but then again the whole island would probably help you if they could sell you a trip.

You can expect a chicken party in the very early morning, I can't sleep well because the noise of the chicken and ships. But the piece is good and the room is Ok. You can get free WiFi at hotel's bar and the staff is friendly.

Mookanda resort in a few days”
I stayed in the bamboo hut. The mattress is hard and they only gave me the tiniest blanket - literally, barely big enough for one person, but it has plenty of charm and if you don't mind slumming it a bit, it's a pretty good deal on the islands, which tend to be way overpriced. I don't think I would choose to stay in the bamboo hut again though, but would rather pay the extra money to stay in a bungalow. My friends were in one and they liked it just fine. A huge step up for sure, with air conditioning, a real toilet, and an actual bathroom that isn't filled with bugs ;) It was fine for 2 nights though and the staff was awesome! Definitely recommend the trip to see the Emerald Cave and go snorkeling for only 400B with a group :D

recommend for budget travelers”
We had a great stay here. The location is really close to the pier, restaurants, and convenience stores but a bit of a walk from Charlie Beach. The bungalow was basic but very clean. We we're very happy with it, planned to stay there 2 nights and would have loved to stay there longer.

Nice garden but the bungalows are already a few years old which was clearly visibly and could be felt on the bed. The price was a bit "high" for that but spoken to other people it seemed to be the case in general on the island...staff was friendly and food and coffe good...

Well kept gardens”
This sits on the edge of Koh Mook village. After the rains it was difficult to access the town on foot so we had to pay 50 Bart per person to take a taxi the long way round. There was no laundry change or room cleaning as specified. There was no barbecue and the food was not particularly brilliant. Our daughters bungalow was totally infested with ants. Great views across the bay

Bungalow mit Blick ins Grüne”
Netter, einfacher Bungalow. Intaktes Moskitonetz, bequemes Doppelbett und eine Hängematte auf dem Balkon! Für den günstigsten Preis den wir vor Ort gezahlt haben,definitiv empfehlens wert. Keine Angst vor den Hunden die immer über das große Gelände laufen! Die sind wirklich sehr lieb und wollen unbedingt mit einem eine Runde auf dem Motorrolller fahren! ;)

Einfache Unterkunft, bei der Standard Bambushütte leider auch mit dem zuweilen unvermeidlichen Toilettenloch, aber es war alles ordentlich und die Betreiber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Einfach und rustikal für einen günstigen Preis ”
Leider gibt es nur einige kleine Getränke Auswahl in der Bar. Zum Essen geht man in eines der in wenigen Minuten zu erreichenden Restaurants. Die Bungalows sind einfach eingerichtet, unser hatte sogar einen Kühlschrank, den wir jedoch nicht benötigten, sowie ein Moskito Netz.

Wir hatten eine der schönsten Zeiten in Thailand hier in diesem resort, wenn wir wieder nach koh mook fahren dann wieder hier her! Die Angestellten waren super freundlich!

บรรยากาศดีมาก ห้องพักสะอาด สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกก็โอเค มีตู้เย็นด้วย หาดสวยน้ำทะเลก็สวย เจ้าของรีสอร์ทและพคนเที่ยวนั้นเป็นกนเองมากใจดี แต่ทางเข้ารีสอร์ทลำบากหน่อย ต้องลองไปพักดูรับรองประทับใจค่ะ

Mycket billigt boende men varken ön eller boendet något jag vill rekommendera”
Allmänt om ön så var det skräpigt lite överallt, det görs enskilda engagemang här och där där de samlar sopor men sen bränner de dom tyvärr så det är en doft av brända sopar på delar av ön som är mindre trevlig. Vi hade bokat 7 nätter men valde att boka om båtbiljetten och åkte efter bara två nätter! Funderade på alternativet att byta boende på ön vs att åka någon annan stans och kom fram till att vi ville hellre någon annan stans... Boendet är budget och utifrån vad man betalar så är det prisvärt men inget jag vill rekommendera och absolut inte för barnfamilj. Det är halvsmutsigt, trånga rum, mycket insekter och myggnätet som faktiskt ingår är ett måste att använda! Vi hade en glipa i myggnätet första natten och alla vaknade med mängder av myggbett. Om man ska lyfta fram något positivt på ön som vi hann se på två dagar är det stranden på södra sidan om piren och stranden på andra sidan ön på västra sidan. För att besöka dessa stränder om man gärna vill till denna ö så ta annat boende.
