An ideal place to get a cheap room or a bed in dormitory at 5 USD/bed with breakfast. Located in center Cau May, Sapa, just a short distance to reach to all must see places such as Catcat village, Muong Hoa valley, Dragon Mountain...Bus ticket & tour information are available. Friendly staff. Good wifi, I love this. Mrs Moon really a kind hearted owner. She arranged a trekking Sapa tour and also bus ticket round trip to Hagiang then Hanoi. Highly recommend.

I stay with my friend Evonne on 1st of Nov 2018. We want to thank Ms. Moon for taking us to the train station when we lost our way. Without her, we would not have the chance to go up the cable car and see the amazing view at the top of the mountain. Also, we thank you very much for arranging a bus and train ticket when Vietjet rescheduled our flight so suddenly. Without you, we won't be able to catch our flight. We enjoyed our stay very much even though it is short. My regret, we did not manage to explore Sapa town. We hope to come again to Sapa in the near future. We will book again with you.

Value for money ”
We arrived to the hotel in 6:30am and the hotel was closed. Waited til 7am and someone seemed like the security opened the door for us, he dosent speak good English but invited us to the common room for check in. Meanwhile, he lighted up the fireplace for us to get warm as it was so cold. However, the reception is still empty at 7:30am, so we asked another lady what time we can check-in and we were informed that the check-in time is 11am and I could wait to see if there's anyone check out early. We booked the delouxe room with balcony and expected that there will be a mountain view as I saw from Internet, but there is no view at all! Although there is a balcony but it's more like a platform with "building view" instead of "mountain view". Anyway, we didn't even go out to the platform. No hair dryer inside the room but can get it from the reception. Glad that there is a heater blanket under this cold weather as there is no heater inside the room.

cheap - get what you pay for”
A very good family run hotel....... for what you pay. It is in a nice part of town and has great views but it is starting to get a bit dated. There is only stairs there so you must be able to get up and down. Bed is rock solid and not good for the body. The hotel could benefit from a little bit of an upgrade. In saying that though the staff were amazing help with everything and even allowed an early check in. Would recommend if you are budget conscious or want your money to help a family business

Staff were friendly and were always eager to help. If you are struggling with the language there is always someone on hand who knows English. They are always keen for a chat and always remember who you are. Would definitely stay again. And the bedroom view was amazing!!

The personnel is friendly and helpful, and the views from the rooms are nice. The room however is super dirty and the sheets and towels used. I suppose there would be plenty of better rooms for the same price.

Keep away”
No heating in the Hotel, which is essential in the cold north of Sapa. When we asked if there was possible to get hearing Ms Moon told us; it’s cold inside since it cold outside. The heater was so bad, was a heat fan - also got heating blankets - they didn’t work. The windows was almost falling out, making it even colder inside (of course) and water was dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom.

Dear Madam I am so upset to know you felt not comfortable but the fact is you shared the dorm with other group of backpackers after a long day trekking with rain therefore the smell from their shoes, their clothing always exist. Sometimes problem arised because some people are sensitive to share the room with others. That will be a memorable experience for a traveler in Vietnam booking a dorm at price 6 USD with breakfast. I hope you a nice holiday in Vietnam. Beside that, Mountain View Sapa is always a open home for traveler (especially the backpackers as the price for the dorm acceptable). Le staff est gentil mais la propreté laisse à désirer. Le déjeuner est toujours là même chose. C'est super froid et humide dans l'hôtel et dans les chambres. Ça sent l'humidité et le lit est super inconfortable. Un vieux lit a ressort qu'on peut sentir a travers les draps. Nous avions une belle vue mais franchement il devrait y avoir des efforts faits au niveau de l'hygiène juger par vous même avec cette merveilleuse photo. 2 étoiles car l'eau chaude était parfaite dans la salle de bain et parce-que madame moon et sa famille sont très gentils et serviables.

하노이에서 22:00 PM 슬리핑 버스타고 한참을 달려 04:00 AM 싸파에 도착하여 6시까지 자는 시간.. 버스터미널에서 택시 잡아타고 호텔에 도착하였네요 슬리핑 버스이기는 하지만 버스타로 장시간 오니 잔거같지도 않고 너무 피곤하여 호텔에 남는방 있으면 얼리 체크인 가능하냐고 물어보니 예쁘장 하고 목소리 고운 여자분께서 알았다고 카를 주시더라고요 다행이 누워서 쉴수 있었습니다. 뷰도 좋고 공기가 너무 시원하네요 일하는 직원분들 다 친절해요 조식은 화려하지는 않지만 성의있게는 해줍니다. 쌀국수나 라면, 계란 후라이, 쌀바게트 빵 , 신선한 오이랑 토마토, 그리고 커피 이정도 먹었는데 직원분이 접시에 담아서 갖다주시고 더 필요하시면 말씀하세요 라고 친절하게 얘기해주시네요 호텔 바로앞에 오토바이 렌탈샵이 있는데 까무잡잡하고 젊고 입술이 도톰한 청년이 있어요. 핸썸한 스타일이고 영어를 잘해요 모터바이크(베트남식) 2일 빌렸는데 비도를 주면서 어느어느 코스로 가면 멋있고, 어느쪽에 식당들이 있고 자세하게 알려 줍니다. 오토바이는 1대당 하루 12만동에 기름 풀 8만동 받아요

돔 예약했다가(눕고싶지 않은 침대&시트 ㅠ 지하로 내려가고 창문도 없어 눅눅꿉꿉;;;) 이건 아니다 싶어 바로 추가금 지불하고 개인룸으로 변경했어요~ 3층 마운틴뷰라는데 그냥그래요. 창문넘어 가야 마운틴뷰 볼 수 있어요. 근데 창문열면 벌레 들어올거 같아서; 그리고 창문 4창중 2창이 띄엄띄엄 바깥에서 보이드라구요 ㅋㅋ 그래서 커튼 쳐놔야해요; ㅎㅎ그냥 시티뷰가 더 맞지 싶은 ㅎ
