We only intended to stay a few days here but after the first day we booked the next 10 days. I have traveled throughout the entire country of Thailand many years. This is the best hotel experience I have ever had by far. The hotel is new. Rooms are are clean, beautifully styled and spacious. Awesome shower ! We loved waking up to the river right outside the balcony and enjoyed the quiet surroundings. Great breakfast and restaurant. I simply cannot say enough about the employees. Everyone from the housekeepers to the front desk were more than friendly, attentive and professional. The manager went above and beyond to make sure the guests needs were met and were happy. With genuine concern he would walk around from morning to night speaking to every guest asking how they were and if they needed anything. We left feeling like family instead of guests. Look no further than this hotel !

Very satisfied with Blue Rabbit Hotel as its great value for money! I booked the family size room which have 4 beds. The size of the room is very spacious. There is one shower and two toilets. There are two televisions in the room ( one in the bed room and one in sitting area) Breakfast is included with the room and it is a big plus! Staffs are very polite and helpful. Two thumbs up!

Very clean and comfy hotel, room and bathroom are perfect (not all of them has a balcony, but there is a nice garden accessible along the river.) a bit away from chantaburi city center (less than 10min by taxi so OK!...) best is to have a motorbike or car as no food or drinks served in the evening at the hotel nor around.

This hotel is a good place to stay. It is the very new hotel and surrounded by nature. The room was cleaned and has all of the facilities that we wanted. Breakfast is good. All staff are helpful. The decoration is good, stylish and bright. However, the hotel is quite far from the main road. You must have a car to get there. I recommended this hotel.

we were looking for a place to relax and get away for the day and we were not disappointed. the room was very comfortable, the cable t.v. had great variety in the english channels, beds were comfortable. the fitness area was a little disappointing as the equipment and machines are a bit outdated but all in all it was a very nice hotel. i was very surprised that it rates as only 3 stars. i have been to 4 star hotels that could not compare in service, decor, and facilities. breakfast was very good and included your choice of fruit squeezed (extracted) depending on your choice of fruit and veges. all in all we recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again.

Only about 1km from the bus terminal, the hotel is well-situated and comfortable. The corridors to the rooms are open and pleasantly shaded by climbing plants. There are sparrows flitting about every morning and they can be a little noisy when in large numbers, but they are fun to watch and relatively non-intrusive. As the corridors are open, it's best to close the room doors quickly to prevent mosquitoes from coming in. Though there weren't many, we encountered one or two every now and then. Not unusual for a hotel so close to a river, of course. The room itself is spacious and comfortable, with a heavy table for writing and a comfortable chair to lean back in. There is a restaurant just beside the hotel that serves authentic local dishes and a noodle shop just a short 2-minute walk down the road that has excellent noodles. 7-Eleven is a bit more of a walk, past the post office, but it is along a road covered in street food stalls. Overall, highly recommended!

If you need to "get out of the city"; this is a very appropriate place. Quiet and very relaxing. But you really need to come with your own car as there is no nearby places to eat that are walking distance (nearest is a very nice old Thai style restaurant that is about 800 m walk). But the staff were really very kind and helpful (super excellent) as they were the the ones who drove us nightly near the Cathedral, which during the time of our stay, was having a food fair in celebration of Christmas. We suggested to the hotel that they should at least have an in-house tuktuk; like the hotels in Chiang Mai and other tourist-popular provinces. Chantaburi does not have much foreign tourists, ONE reason why we LIKE it!

This jhotel is located in the night life area of Juntaburi but it is not so noisy and disturb you in the night time. The hotel and room decoration were fantastic comparing with the amount of money taht we paid. The service of frontdesk was really nice and we spend only a couple minutes for checking in and out. The room was so comfortable and cozy for two of us. TV program was good for Thai but not for international guests. There is no elevator in this hotel and people who have a big bag need to consider. Breakfast was not shown in the coupon but there was a free breakfast including toasts and porridges which was so wonderful and I would suggest for everyone to try it. Finally, this hotel has a car parking area but it was a bit limited. FInally, I would recommend this hotel for everyone who have to stay in this city for personnel or business trip. It is one of a godd value hotel in Thailand.

We elected to stay there for the night on our way to Koh Chang. Centrally located, easy to access and park this seemed like the right call. While this place has seen better days and could use a revamp of fresh TLC, you can't complain as the rates are decents. Best to book on Agoda or Booking as they have the best rates. Also do note the hotel won't match Agoda's or Booking rates which is pretty dumb is you ask me. Hotel rates were on average 10 $ more. The room itself is your standard older 4 ish stars. It has some decent beds, the bathroom is your typical American kind. Shower is very powerful, i loved it. Amenities are basic but sufficient. I would have wished for a stocked up minibar rather than an empty mini fridge. Tv is ok, but all the English channels are in Thai. All they need to do is select the correct audio, but that might be too much to ask. Hotel is clean. View is great. I am posting a few pictures toguether with this report. perfect modern room . maybe bed a little bit hard . only 500 m from bus station . superb swimming pool of 25 m . only 2 english channels on tv . but probably the best hotel in town for a cheaP PRICE.

Came in to Chanthaburi for a very quick one night (24hrs) to meet some local friends. The only hotel I know that suits me is Tamajun Hotel. Same glorious view of the Chanthaburi river with the entire stretch of the Chanthaburi waterfront community at my doorstep. Wake up in the morning to have fresh hot breakfast from the many stalls selling local handmade, homemade delights. Sweets, treats or the whole meal. At night, whet your appetite as you walk past Steak In Time with fresh and hot BBQ chicken, pork or beef. If you prefer Thai food, many options are available from traditional to fusion. Coffee is best had at CAP. The baristas there will glady help you make your choice with the many blends and flavours available. At Tamajun, wine and dine the night away with a band that entertains with live music, music any way you want as they take requests if you rather hear a song you like. The main market is within walking distance and if you are coming to/fro the Chanthaburi bus station (from Bangkok, or Suvarnabhumi), your walk is approx 15-20mins. Stay for a night, or longer at Tamajun. Be greeted and served by very willing and friendly staff who do their very best to make your stay most memorable.

A family runs small hotel in villa type, just opened 2 years, it's good for a weekend hideaway for family with kids. 15 mins to downtown. Unfortunate, it also open for public for swim or sauna bath. We have found the crowds were noisy, rudness speaking and serious smoking. Although, nothing serious jeopardize to your family activities in the pool area, but we didn't feel comfort with noise disturbance plus stinky cigarette smells for sure. The Sranrom resort is supposed a great. place to stay, with peaceful surrounding, riverside view, spacious accomodation villa with parking lot, restaurant & accommodation in fairy pricing, inclusive of breakfasts, cleaniness in room and warmly service. If there didn't spoiled of the noise and cigarette ashes all around the resort, it is a gem. Suggestion: seperation of smoking area, more non smoking signages and outdoor ashtrays + trash bins.

If the room is more quiet from noisy outside, which is not that loud, this place will be the best.

Really nice place, big great rooms and clean. Really great and friendly staff. Only issue with this place for us was that it was located in the middle of nowhere.. you had to ask the staff to call a taxi if you wanted to go somewhere. And the taxidraivers could not speak english so it was quite difficuld to come back.

We booked the cheapest room in the list but Agoda called to informed us that the room was fully booked. So they have upgraded us to the double bed suite room (Thanks Agoda!!). The room was in the newest building of the resort. It has plenty of space although it has a big king size bed because it has nothing else except another small table and a small freezer which is good enough for our stay. The only thing to comment is the bed is hard (don't expect a soft bed). The location is a bit far from the city center and there is no public transport. You need a car to travel to the city center. Nothing else near the resort.

The hotel was very clean, big family room and a SUPER FRIENDLY owner who even drove us to the city centre twice instead of calling us a taxi. Besides the location the best hotel we stayed on our 5 weeks trip so far. Very recommend able.

Nice hostel, closed to night market, clean, bed are comfortable, and owsem staff, and best thing is, you will get welcome drink and ice cream. 1st time in mylife booking hostel will get this service..

Really nice cleaned Rooms, The best part was the Breakfast , we wanted to have vegetarian hotel staff asked for the preference while checking in and next morning we were served with so yummy vegetarian breakfast and damn good service. Highly recommended this place .

Only 30 min walked around their property and spend not too long in their room. Finally, decided to find another place. I recommend agoda should move this hotel out from the list.

wonderful stay, great value for money, nice and clean design room, the vegetation around the hotel is beautiful and so relaxing, nice surprise !

Stayed in one of the newer masonry bungalows, which was spacious and modern. Only fault with the design is the door to the bathroom is less that 1.8 metres high. Great for the average Thai but not for the average westerner. A conscious reminder to duck was needed! Staff were good but when we called for a more accurate location before arrival, neither staff we spoke to could tell the Soi number off the main road. Nevertheless they did have a decent size sign on the main road which made it easier to find. (Soi 7 for those that need directions). The address given by Agoda is not complete to be able to find without assistance.

very value for money at this price range (about 500-600 baht). similar quality hotels in the area would probably be 40-80% more. New and clean, with fresh and thick towels, clean sheets, big pillows, good wifi, strong water pressure in shower. All you need really for a night's stay. no breakfast provided but they provide free hot water, coffee, chocolate, instant cup noodles and porridge in the lobby. Bed is a little hard, but nothing too negative. Must have own transport, slightly out of the city centre, but lesser to drive when going out of the city to explore. They only allow (paid) extension of 1 & 2 hours for check out, no half day. Any more and will be considered a full day's payment. Which is a pity to me as all we wanted was a shower as we left chanthaburi in the evening. Just a note. Will surely stay here again if in the area.

Traveling as two couples during an Eastern Thailand road trip. Our stay was one night and it was the perfect location. Close to night life, food and the park. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel look new. the room very nice and clean. staff they are friendly and lovely. if i have to go to Chanthaburi i think i will stay in Plychan Hotel again.

I booked last minute and was disaponted to find how far away it was but that changed. Really lovely aunt who speaks no English but is the sweetest woman. It's not close to things at first I was upset about that till the wonderful serenity of the place took over. And you even have a tranquil view.. Only thing besides being far away is the water did not get very hot but the water pressure was terrific which in Thailand is hard to find. I will definatly come back.

All staff are very friendly, All rooms are clean, good smell, large. The location near the center & easy to find.

This hotel is perfectly situated in middle of the old city along the river. Great shops and restaurants are everywhere, only a few minutes walking distance away. You can even walk to Robinsons in 20 minutes, and there's an awesome market right next door. We felt safe in the area even walking late at night. The town shuts down early compared to other places we've been. The room was nice enough and fairly clean. The bed was rather hard and not great for sleeping. The shower drain in the bathroom was sloooow and you'd be standing in a puddle in a short time. Nothing majorly wrong. The staff was absent about half the time, which was fine since we didn't really need anything and we didn't ask anyone to clean the room. Fresh towels and sheets are available on the second floor if you want to grab them yourself. Entry at all hours wasn't a problem. There's a nice deck in the back, where we'd enjoy a beer late at night. Bring bug spray.
