The title should say it all: I'm a super fussy backpacker. I was dreading staying here after a few bad hostels and hotels but what a pleasant surprise! The private room we booked was super clean, well decorated and more like a resort room than a hostel room. Aircon worked well, bed was squeaky clean and shower was hot and powerful. Loved the common areas with all the different pools, and the restaurant was great value with good food - particularly liked the mexican food. The breakfast wasn't our favourite but better than most we got in Vietnam... The true differentiator here is the staff or ambassadors - they are passionate, fun and kind. Thanks so much to Andy and Christian (Hamburg Germany's best export!) for the great stay.

I was quite sceptical when I booked this place because it is ridiculously cheap. I wasn't expecting much but to be fair it's a pretty nice place. They have 2 pools, a restaurant and do a lot of activities and give free shots and stuff like that. Great place if you wanna party and meet people. The room are basic, but for the price it's more then OK. It's clean, I saw the cleaner in our room everyday. I think the only complaint I have is that the room was really bright early in the morning and the fact that the others were really loud but that's just the hostel life! There's a lot of nice places to eat next to the hostel, they organise "tour" if you want to explore the place. Would definitely recommend

Worth every pennies”
Got an upgrade to Muine Hill Bliss room. Room is clean, neat and well-organized. Staff is friendly and helpful. Love the way they do to protect the environment: no toiletries set up in-advance but upon request, no phone in room that guests need to pass by reception for every request (so that they can cut-off manpower), only 2 towels in room, refill water with your own bottle at reception (cheap price). Good food with so reasonable price. Happy hour and combo everyday.

I didn’t expect much from this hostel and I was greatly surprised! - Social : there’s a pool, a happy hour, beer pong every night and other games - The room at quiet because the pool is further away - If you take Futa bus, they have a free shuttle from their bus station to anywhere in Mui Ne, from the 5 foreigners, we all went to Mui Ne Backpackers. - There is 6 hotels/hostels and pools : you can choose villas, hotel, hostels, etc. Depending on your budget. Mui Ne Backpackers was further away in the road but closer to the pool while Mui Ne Hill Budget was closer to the road but further from the pool. - There’s a family selling fruits and food on the right before the main road. The lady sells amazing homemade food made from fresh ingredients - expect 30 min.+ wait for the food but it’s worth it, open late and at really good price!

Didn’t want to leave!”
Such a great experience here. The staff is excellent, very communicative and helpful to book tours, extend stay, book busses and and answer any questions. The hostel has really fun social activities, family dinner, game nights, flip cup, limbo, trivia etc. 3 pools, good food, and as a solo traveler I met a ton of nice people and made friends easily. It has a party vibe which normally isn’t my scene but here I quite enjoyed it. Cheap lodging, close to the beach, happy hour every night! What more could you ask for. Beds a little hard but other than that it was perfect!

Best Hostel Yet!”
We wouldn't usually stay at such a large, party orientated hostel but we had the best time! So incredibly clean, we amazing pools and bar areas. Mui ne itself there isn't much to see other than the tours and beach, so its nice to have somewhere nice to chill! Such a social hostel, spoke to loadsbof travellers here!!

The place is great. The private room is really nice - lots of space and clean. Really good facilities as well. The staff and the owner are helpful and kind. Even though I messed up my initial booking and arrived 3am they helped me get a room.

Exceptional”
Nice place. Our room was upgraded in villa although we booked in hotel. The room in villa is private and quiet. There is a pool, it’s such a beautiful place for both swimming and watching the stars. Staying in villa is the good choice for family’s vacation. Besides, there are other areas with different styles. Places for friend groups, with pool party and bar...and jacuzzi viewing to sea. Good price for food and drink. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic. Highly recommend this place.

The perfect place for backpackers ”
I highly recommend this place. The staff and the owners are so friendly and helpful. So many facilities ( swimming pool, jacuzzi , restaurant and bar ) and activities ( volleyball , beer pong , tours ...) which never make you bored! The food is delicious and cheap. The place to be !

Very good party hostel. Has good and not expensive private rooms. Facilities in the room and outside (pools, restaurant, bar). They organize trips and activities in the hostel every day. Very nice and helpful staff 👍

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Facilities are very good. I stayed at 4 ppl dorm. Very clean. Nice to have a pool and bar, entertainment programmes. Would recommend!

Very cheap”
My stay was average. The first 2 nights i stayed at the double standard room which was amazingly huge and super clean. On my last night I did the 4 mixed bed room. It was ok as I get to meet other travellers and travelled together afterwards. Everything was cheap here. Food was okay but not that great. Staff were all nice and welcoming. I actually expected some of them to be rude based from the previous reviews but all of them were really nice. The only thing I didnt like is the fact that the hostel is way up the hill and all my rooms were located at the 3rd floor which is a struggle especially if you bring a big luggage. But Mui Ne is amazing. I loved the city and the vibe.

Great room, horrible tour”
Our stay was great! The private rooms are super clean and big with huge showers. The hostel can be really social if you want, but can also be really private which is nice. Great book exchange that we took advantage of. Nearby kite surf spots and a few km away from a good surf spot. Only downside was our sunset sand dunes tour, the bus driver had us fearing for our lives he drove so aggressively and he tried to leave without passengers at each spot (even though they still had 10 minutes to return to the bus). He also was running a bunch of errands while driving us, seemed like a bit of a side hustle.

Party hostel”
The pools are a huuuge plus. But there isn’t anywhere to just hangout with chill music once the sun goes down. The whole pool area turns into a European techno bar and that bumps well past midnight. That being said the layout of the rooms shields them entirely from the music poolside so that’s nice. Comfy mattresses and a decent breakfast with cheap restaurants nearby
