What an unexpected delight it was to walk into the entrance of this opulent hotel in Mukdahan. The decor is authentic middle European very tastefully presented. The property has absolute frontage onto the Mekong River,and every room has uninterrupted views from their balconies. If your visit is a special occasion, the option of a corner suite is highly recommended. While its location is a just a couple of Kms south of the main town, for those without a car that may be a little inconvenient but the front desk can arrange a taxi and the fares are minimal. This is certainly a hotel we would recommend wholeheartedly.

This hotel is located on good location, that you can see good view of Thailand, Mekong River and Loas. It's located near Indochina Market, besides in front of the hotel, it has convenience store. If you want to eat dinner, I recommend a good taste and cheap restaurant on the 16th floor, where you can see a perfect view of Mukdahan, Mekong river and Loas, moreover this floor can move slowly around itself. However, I didn't impress about little menu of breakfast :(

I lived in Mukdahan for a year in 1969. I was in the U.S. Air Force and there was a radar site in Mukdahan. After waiting 44 years to return choosing this hotel was a great decision. A perfect location at a great price with a wonderful staff. My wife is Thai so an English speaking staff was not a requirement but some of the staff had decent English language skills. The best way to judge a hotel is how they handle problems. The second night a tour group checked in and had a party on the 6th floor right above our 5th floor room. I talked to the night manager and when he heard the noise he offered us another room on the second floor. He made the transition between rooms painless and gave us a bigger more expensive room at no charge. My wife fell in love with Mukdahan and wants to visit again on our next trip to Thailand and she said we will always stay at the Ricerfront Hotel. The breakfast was buffet was wonderful. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but great riverfront restaurants are a short walk away.

Easily to find the hotel I walked from the Mukdahan bus station to the hotel is not too far The hotel is new clean and comfortable stay with reasonable price but I have hardly to find the store and restaurants for my dinner you have to walk back to the bus station there are some restaurants there

We enjoyed our trip ...good for kids has big park for them to run around...free coffee...breakfast’s ok. It’s a little far but we had our own car so no problem about that it small town we can travel to everything.. We enjoyed the river views and quite..hotel no room service but u can order foods (provided by hotel staff ) very cheap and we ordered pizza..we would stay again 👍

Room was very tidy and good enough to fit 2 persons. Breakfast served both local and intercontinental style. This is a four-story building without elevators...

A real wonderful surprice. Spacy room, nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Bathroom a treat. The Bird Day Hotel is in class, with some of the top hotels in Mukdahan. It will not be the last time I stay at The Bird Day Hotel.

We had 2 spacious adjoining rooms for our family of five which were clean and serviced well during our three day stay. Although on the outskirts of Mukdahan city it is on a main thoroughfare and the downtown area is easily reached by local transport although this motel is more defined to capture through traffic . I would recommend this motel to tourers through Mukdahan who are willing to drive the extra 2km out of the city centre and enjoy the peaceful quiet

This hotel offers much for a few money. The rooms are big and it is very clean. The bathroom is clean and practical. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We will go back to this hotel when we're going to Mukdahan.

Why staying in Mukdahan? Because you have just arrived from Laos and on the next day, you take the bus to Bangkok. So where to spend the night? Close to the bus station so that you don't have to carry your heavy luggage, at a place that is valuable for money, comfortable, clean and run by a friendly staff. And so is the Submukda hotel.

My stay was surprisingly good! Surprising because the location is absolutely superb if you wish to cross into Laos from Thailand. After arriving by Mini bus from Udon Ratachani I was dropped directly to the Villa Thiwa Hotel. It was late at night, so I was very happy that the Owner was very pleasant & helpful. The Hotel is set in countryside & a great view in the early morning across the Thai countryside. The Room is well thought out & has everything you need. Check out in the morning was very quick & the Co-Owner arranged a meter-taxi which arrived very quickly to take me to the Thai border. Very enjoyable, I wills stay again.

Stayed both on my way to Laos and on my return. Well appointed room opened out onto lovely pool overlooking the Mekhong river. On;y two rooms so it's like staying at your own private villa. Hosts Don and Dang were friendly and attentive and shared local knowledge. Food was great - Voted best restaurant in Mukdahan for several years running. I would highly recommend Mukdahan Manor and will stay there again on my next trip through Mukdahan.

Passing through enroute to Laos for visa...was ok for a night... All the basics， with a few good restaurants very near. Good for the price...main attraction for me was proximity to the bus station， as needed to get first bus to Savannakhet (0630)

It's good for those who do not smoke because the hotel shows clear signs of "No Smoking". It is quiet and easy to get around Mukdahan city if you have a car. But the staff is always ready to give you information to go places. One of the staff members has good English. We stayed there two times and love this hotel.

This hotel was nicer than i expected. I was worried because the room was so cheap, but the hotel wasnt that bad. The bed was relatively soft, a lot softer than the bed at the other hotel we stayed at in mukdahan. The hotel is not new, but it is in pretty decent shape. My room had a nice view of the river. Not a four star by any means but would stay here again when i come back. I am pretty picky about hotels but i cant really think of anything to complain about. However, this hotel seems like it caters to large tour groups, you know the really annoying ones with those ridiculous big busses.

Hotel reviews are very subjective and difficult because everybody sees things differently. This hotel suits me because of the price, and I can overlook the dirty bathroom and light not working and the thin towels.Staff were responsive after overcoming the language barrier. The true test is- "would I stay there again?" The answer is yes Next time I am in Mukdahan,Iwould stay at this hotel. The only thing missing was a refrigerator which was provided after I asked.

This facility is remote, isolated. If you don't have transport forget it. It's over 15km from Mukdahan. The bungalow is very good, large, clean & well appointed. Bungalow is about 100m from the restaurant. Food is ok & beer is cold. Staff are friendly & courteous. I'd stay there again.

my stay at the baandala hotel was verry good. the rooms are new, a good cleaning personell, always at your service to help. the hotel is not so far from busstation, lothar market and mukdahan center. you can walk the distance of it, i think about 3-4 km.

Nice location away from road and spacious areas and room. Free breakfast was toast and coffee. Hotel construction is wierd with no confinement of noise between rooms and corridors. Can hear next door neighbor brush his teeth.

No tuk tuk nobody no informer on phone knew of the place so they took us to a more expensive place. Just been travelling 10hrs did not argue but not impressed
