I'd love to say the staffs were amazing friendly and helpful. The location was ok, close to Cai Dam market where sell seafood, fruits and stuffs..also tons of restaurants near by :) not totally centre but almost. The room and hotel was old, but clean and tidy. I wish the TV can use youtube for kidos :) then its better

2-days trips to Halong Bay”
Use Agoda or other booking services to book in advance because you'll get a better rate. The hotel's location is very close to the night market and Ha Long Pier/Port if you want a private tour of the Bay. If you have younger kids and like to visit amusement parks, this hotel is a little farther away (unless you have your transportation/hired a driver).

Room had nice view”
If you choose that option, room has nice view of Ha Long bay. Very busy with Vietnamese tourists, elevators slow and front desk clerks provide erroneous information (we asked about the Bay cruise which they were booking through the front desk). Also they turn off the air conditioning in the lobby at times--especially uncomfortable when waiting for our ride after checking out.

The staff is quite overload when there are too many guests coming. The staff in the cafe next door is kinda not happy. The equipment is clean and tidy. The light is not bright enough at night. The elevator is slow. The location is far away from the beach.

Not a 4 star hotel”
The rooms were large and comfortable, however there were no utensils in the kitchen. One of our rooms, the shower had not been installed yet. Both the jacuzziz were empty (not filled with water). The gym was not how it looked in the photos. There were only 4 outdated equipment. The hotel staff are quite cunning, the recommended us to buy tickets from them to go to Tuan Chau when it was practically closed. Would not recommend this hotel.

Good for one-night stays”
We stayed at this hotel when our cruise on Ha Long Bay was cancelled due to a nearby typhoon and would recommend it only for that purpose. The hotel does not live up to its 4 star status: stains on the carpet, noisy corridors, no wifi in the room, pool and gym of poor standards. Breakfast does not offer much for Western travellers. We would recommend this hotel in an emergency.

Crazy price/night for what you get. Very old hotel, smelly room, faulty air con, but nice staff... For exactly half the price the next day we stayed in another hotel, also 2 bedrooms, but much bigger.

Pros - lovely spacious room with great view. Cons - hotel is in poor condition. The pool area is not as nice as the pictures show (no way near). The staff are very unfriendly. The breakfast buffet is served cold, and it's the only hotel I've ever been to that charge for ice! ($4). Would not recommend this hotel chain.

The room was spacious but looks old and the carpet was smelly. Almost no nearby restaurant especially for lunch. The electricity was on an off, aircon was totally off since 4 am until we checked out.
