The room has a nice unblocked view of the entire bay. Facilities seem a bit dated but everything works fine and room is clean. The hotel is just opposite Sunworld and is about 10 mins walk to the night market. Sadly, during our visit, it's a bit quiet. Hope things get more lively soon!

Best location with best room”
The hotel is located in the very center part of city. Very easy to find good restaurants, good sites to visit and anything you want to do in your trip! All of them are within walking distance! The only thing I am not satisfied is that they can't let us check out a little bit later, or check in a little bit earlier...Even one hour is not acceptable....

Impersonal service standard ”
Location, facilities and cleanliness are all fine except for the attitude of the hotel staff especially at the reception, they were just like programmed robots and refused to do anything that had not been pre-programmed into their mind! For example they didn’t want to help us to call local transport service despite we have trouble to understand Vietnamese! Their excuse was that they didn’t want to assume the responsibility if anything went wrong! This is obviously nonsense! Other 5* hotels I have ever stayed never have such a strange culture!

Nice hotel , spacious room ”
Nice 5 star hotel . Spacious room . There is a highland coffee shop on the ground level . Opposite the hotel, there are many restaurants and food outlets . Staff - not so helpful We order room service breakfast which include pancake And they forgot to send the pancake . We called reception to inform the room service staff (as we don’t speak Vietnamese ) and the staff did not bother to check . After a second call then they replied saying they forgot about the pancake . Eventually they send some cupcakes in replacement of the pancake but it was one hour later . When we checked out the next day , we told the reception to put in the address into the handphone google map to the taxi driver to go to the cruise centre to take our coach bus to Hanoi . Imagine our frustration when the taxi driver send us to the wrong place n it was the receptionist who keyed in the wrong address . Luckily we were able to catch the coach back to Hanoi on time after we gave the correct address to the taxi driver . Overall hotel is nice but staff not so attentive .

Stayed for 1 night after we are done with the day cruise as we do not want to travel all the way back to Hanoi. Booked 2 rooms as there are 4 of us. Rooms facing the sea view are huge. Too huge until it feels very empty. Rooms look dated. It's kinda sad as it's December and there are not many tourists in Ha Long.

The location is superb, love the breakfast the beef stew is the winner on the buffet in my opinion. The room has a great view of Halong bay, however no bathrobes. Definitely one of the good hotels I have spent in Ha Long City.
