Room was nice, spacious and clean, comfortable bed and very helpfull personal. But the beach and sea were full of plastics and other garbagge. During the day beach is full of turists coming with organized tours and night life zero.

Fördelar receptionisten snackar bra engelska. Trevligt bemött. Läget är ju sjukt bra mitt på stranden relax ställe . Nackdel va att när vi betalade tog för lite betalt . Så när vi kom till nya hotellet ringde dem och ville att vi skulle komma och betala. Men resan ditt va större än det vi skulle betala så det löste sig med att de hämta upp pengarna på nya hotellet.

Best Location at Sao Beach”
Pro: We had a great bungalow directly at the beach, only 20m to the ocean. Price was good. The place looks nice and the staff keeps the area clean. The rooms were spacious and clean. They have many WiFi spots so you can have WiFi at the beach. You can order dinner from the rooms. Con: The WiFi was unstable and didnt work most of the day. The only stable WiFi was in the reception. The staff was not able to repair the other WiFi. The food was a bit pricy and for breakfast we got instant noodles. Some room facilities need a repair, e.g. the door lock was broken and the staff needed to enter from the window to open our room. At night all other shops/restaurants nearby are closed and have dogs that chase you and bark. On the second day, the staff did not tidy the rooms, just left fresh towels.

Crappy room, lack of service and expansive restaurant”
We stayed for 4 knights. The room was not properly cleaned when we got it (dust on top of shells, beside beds, etc.). The cleasning service was soo slow that they only managed to get to our room once dureing stay, and they didn't do a fantastic job too. The location is very nice right by the beach! The hotel has one restaurant with decent food. However very expansive (for the type of food, service, atmosphere). It's better to eat lunch at some other place on a Spa resort further down the beach (north), only 3min walk on beach. I would also recommende to stay at that place - looked a lot nicer. The hotel is pretty cheap, but I think it´s better to ad some money because this i low standard. Would not recommend this place!

Horrendous ”
The resort is full of day trippers, with 8-10 ships arriving every morning. The strangest and loudest of Vietnamese techno-music starts playing at 07:00-08:00am, and as a paying guest at the “resort”, you’re treated as second class. The beach was filthy, and there were syringes amongst every other kind of rubbish you can imagine. The restaurant closing times are completed inconsistent. You’re told they’ll close at 10:00pm; however, when the last “day trippers” leave for their return to the mainland, you’re told you have to order at 07:30pm, as the restaurant is suddenly closing. If you feel like some of the tasty-sounding western food from the unbelievably expensive menu: forget it. You’re not catered for at the moment. What was supposed to be a nice relaxing week’s holiday, turned out to be a nightmare.

Lovely rooms on a wonderful beach”
My Lan Guest House is not really a guest house anymore. It has appr. 15 one year old bungalow rooms which have the best standard we have seen in Vietnam! We do compare with budget hotels but anyhow surprisingly well equipped and big rooms. They are also more expensive than you expect so far away from the city. Still value for money. Bai Sao beach is also the best beach on Phu Quoc compared with Long beach and Ong Lan beach. White sand as long as you can see and few people. There is only one small neighbore hotel and maybe another hotel far away. In daytime local people come in buses spending there time on the lovely beach. There is plenty of space also for them and the hotel outdoor restaurant seems to have capacity for them all. In the evening however the hotel personell seems tired after the busy afternoon and you dont get any service in the restaurant. Luckily the neigbore hotel restaurant is open and good. The breakfast is simple but tasty. The hotel are also making money on the absense of taxis. “I´m sorry but we cant get a taxi for the moment. Our minibus can drive you to X for so and so much Dong.” This price is clearly more than a taxi would cost. As long as you dont want to go to the city every evening but spend your time on the lovely beach or in your well-equipped rooms and as long as you dont get bored with the neigbore restarant this is a very good choise.

Wonderful beach with few visitors”
my lan guest house is located on one of the best beaches of phu quoc island, bai sao beach. my lan lies almost at the center of a small inlet facing south; the green hills on the back makes it a natural shelter from the rest of the island. it's a great location if you're seeking some isolation from the other main beaches and resorts of phu quoc. there were few visitors during my stay, and most of them came from other resorts in the northern part of phu quoc.

Fantastic bungalowes right by the beach”
A fantastic place to stay! Bai Sao beach is The most beautiful beach ive ever seen, white beach and turquise water! The My Lan Bungalows are right On The beachfront, so The location couldnt be better! The restaurant is also On The beach with great both vietnamese and western food! The staff is fantastic, They arranged a beachbbq for us where The locals also joined. Best experience in Vietnam by far!!

Beautiful beach front guest house”
We stayed 2 nights at guest house, very thing was ok. Do not expect service and foods better. Do not compare a guest house with hotel 3 star or 4 star or resort. If love beautiful beach come here to enjoy day long with white sand, blue sea and more sun. We love Bai Sao beach - the best beach at Phu Quoc islands. Booked the fishing and snorkeling tour, it cost around 16usd/pax which was good.

Weekend getaway”
We were the only guests at the hotel for 2 out of 3 nights. The manager was very friendly and upgraded us to a air-conditioned room (we reserved one with a fan). It was easy to rent a motorbike and organize a snorkeling tour with a staff member that spoke excellent English. The hotel is really far from anything so we ate our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel restaurant. The seafood was good- had seafood hotpot a couple times. Breakfast choice was sufficient. The main reason we stayed at this hotel off the beaten track was due to reports of the beautiful white sand beach and crystal clear waters. Unfortunately, we did not find this beach to be the most beautiful on the island. In fact, Long Beach appeared cleaner. To credit the hotel, they did have a crew racking up garbage every morning. The problem was the busloads of tourists that came for the day and littered all over the place. The fact is, Vietnam has not yet managed to develop a litter conscious culture so no matter how hard the hotel tries to maintain it's property, there will always be plastic bags, beer cans, and diapers floating around in the water and laying on the white sand. It's a shame but if you don't expect to find a pristine beach like on some of the photos I've seen of Phu Quoc, you won't be disappointed. You just have to look past the rubbish.
