Great View with great service too”
My wife and I had a great time there. It was our Wedding Anniversary and I asked the manager via email to surprise my wife by placing petals on our bedroom. And they did! She was soo delighted for that surprise! As a traveller, this was my first time the management offered that without surcharge and responded to my request. The ocean view is fine. The hotel is just in front of the beach so you do not need to take a cab or walk too far for the beach. But what we attracted most is to go to the Jesus Christ Statue which is similar to the Rio Janiero in Brazil. It is just near to the hotel so no hassle for us. The room is clean, spacious and they have friendly staffs as well. I also admire their understanding since I went back there to the room since we thought we left our mobile phone. Funny part, I look over the entire room with the chambermaid and helped me out to find it. All the while It was in my wife's bag. So, to me, despite of it, they have been patient and tried their best to help me out. The pool is also nice though not really the best. Food is great too for a breakfast. We love the Pho noodles they prepare. Overall, I would love to go back there. hopefully with our kids since its also nice for kids as beach is nearby. :)

Nice hotel with a honest staff”
Stayed for 1 night. The junior suite I chose offers an excellent view of the sea. The room was huge with a king-sized bed and various drinks including wine, beer and whiskey. There were some negative points: the safety cabinet seems to be broken and the old shower room was not functioning, which was too bad for such an expensive room. I did not know that Agoda already charged me during online booking so upon check-out I paid my room charge to the hotel and left my bags at the front. After a few hours I came back and the hotel staff told me that I already paid to Agoda and they gave me my money back. Although I was surprised that the hotel staff did not find out at the beginning but I was impressive with their honesty. As a whole I was satisfied with my stay at My Le hotel

Location, location, location”
The My Le hotel is ideally situated along the main tourist beach, Bai Sau, or 'back beach'. It is not too close to the middle with the throngs of Vietnamese tourists, it is closer to the head of Vung Tau that winds round on the long road past the Jesus statue on the way to the ferry station. This is not a luxury hotel, but the location is its best selling point. Don't be fooled by the pics of the swimming pool, it is very small (you can hold your breath and swim one length to the other), but it is actually lovely at 6-7 pm after swimming in all the salty water while the sun goes down (a little brisk though). It does the job. The breakfast was simple, but acceptable. I opted for noodle soup and fruit mostly but there were a couple of other things and an egg station. The coffee, which so often is disgusting at hotel breakfasts, was wonderfully strong. I had at least 3 cups each morning (yes, sorry, that was me who made you keep having to fill up the jug). The room was clean and the bed very very comfortable. The staff at reception were lovely and smiley, the security guards were also very polite and sweet. The manager was a bit of a jobs' worth though. All in all, it could do with a bit of a face-lift, the gym was not even worth mentioning, it needs some paint, and the elevators smell of wet dog. I would stay here again though. Perfect location for me.

Enjoy the pool and the beach”
The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful at this large hotel right on the beach. Seaside views are fantastic and the pool (on its own second-floor deck) is clean and refreshing. The breakfast buffet is elaborate and tasty, though the flies and ants around it are off-putting. Wifi and room comfort are fine. There are some very basic local restaurants nearby, with fancier options one to several km away. (Plenty of taxis are always available on the beach road.) The Jesus statue is within walking distance. We were upgraded to a suite during our stay (with accompanying daily fresh fruit) and were very impressed---but the standard room isn't bad either.

When I requested an upgrade we were given a spacious ocean view suite at no extra cost. Then later when my 6 year old became sick, they went out of their way to make sure he got the best medical treatment in the area. Furthermore, if you surf then there's a nice peak just in front of the hotel. I'll definitely be back soon!

bad hotel with unfriendly staff”
i have stayed in a number of local hotels in vung tau, but was by far the worst. its a state own company and staff does not welcome you at all. they are unfriendly and not helpful doing only the minimum required with the worst attitude. the hotel looks good on the pictures but in reality very sad. the rooms are mouldy, towels seem dirty, wifi was not working, breakfast was closed before 9am (but anyway not good), etc... one advise: dont put any of the drinks displayed in the room into the empty fridge unless you really want to drink it. i put in a can of beer which i itended to drink at a later stage. in the end i didnt, but i was charged for it on check. staff claimed that since it was cooled down it cannot be sold anymore. unfortunately i was in a rush to catch the boat so i had no choice but to pay for the beed i didnt drink. there is also a construction site on the beach right opposite which does not allow you direct beach access when crossing the road.

i stayed 3 nights. beach are spreading just beyond the wide road. the traffic are much milder than hochininh. you can enjoy cheap and good meals along the road. be sure you have to pay 30,000vnd when you borrow beach chair and parasol. the hotel room is wide enough and comfortable. but sometimes sea wind is very strong so if you drying your clothes at balcony, they will be salty wet.

The hotel itself was OK if you were not going to spend a lot of time there. Not many Westerners on that side (back beach) so nobody including the staff spoke any English. Breakfast was very ordinary and everything that was supposed to be hot was cold. So my advise is order eggs as they are cooked as you like. Wifi is really good. Pool ok but sunbeds are just wood so really uncomfortable. If you want any restaurants you will need to get a taxi over to the front beach

Great location on the beach”
The hotel was fine, it had quite a few insects. It was very close to the beach and lots of little restaurants. There are lots of Vietnamese people on holiday, we were the only western people on the beach. The staff were very helpful especially the duty manager who could not do enough to help us.
