Standard hotel - clean and quiet”
Stayed at NT Lanta with 2 friends. They don't have a triple room so it was quite tight adding a cot (very uncomfortable). But the room was clean, great air con, fridge, big bathroom. Water pressure was terrible, unlike anything I've experienced before. Pool was awesome (although easily full as not many pool chairs). Close to the beach and main street (5 min walk). Good standard hotel, nothing over the top here.

Lovely budget resort ”
Firstly - the pictures are not showing the reality. They had to be taken before tsunami (we think). Otherwise we loved the stay. It is still lovely, much more trees and palms than on the pics, that means you get a shade around the pool in the afternoon, which is not a bad thing. Water in a pool is clean and in the morning quite refreshing, in the afternoon not as much as it gets warm. Room is cleanish... Could be better, could be worse. Many windows, which was nice. One of the more comfortable beds we experienced on our 4 months trip around SE Asia - stay here was relaxing and sleeping time, which worked well as it was quiet and cozy. Aircon worked well (but it wasn't really good for regulating the strength of the fan - was blowing a lot). There is a fridge and boiling container (so you can make yourself a tea, coffee or noodles :)) Shower pressure is on and off - didn't enjoyed that one as much, and the drainage got quite smelly after 3 days of our stay. It was always in the evening and got better in the morning, we believe it was depending on the tides (high tide = big smell). Many huge mosquitoes in the bathroom (easy to kill them though - hard to miss those monsters 🙈😂). Rocky beach each only 3 mins walk and 5 more mins to the lovely Long Beach (a bit dirty though - maybe because of the low season - no one cares), but I met only 3 people in 1 hour on that beach which was perfect. 7/11 only 4 mins walk. Very cheap local kitchen across the street. And some others on the 7/11 direction. We got SCAMED at the Tourist Place straight across the street from 7/11. And we were not the only one. Don't book or rent anything from there. Police will never come to help you - you have to go to them at the ferry terminal and still they are useless. Manager of the resort was kind of trying to help us (but it felt he was more on the other side the on ours. When you get a bike ALWAYS check the tires after 3 mins drive - we got scamed twice in 10 days - always

Amazing, great deal, safe for female travellers”
My friend and I stayed here for 3 days 2 nights and thought it was a great deal. Just a 5 minute walk through a pretty flower tunnel to the beach. The chalets are clean and extremely spacious and not claustrophobic at all. Floors and toilets are clean and dry. Windows are of plenty and the wooden balcony was a great place to just chill at night or to dry your wet swimwear. Each chalet is overlooking the pool which has a baby pool and a deep end. Service was really good. As two female travelers, it is quite safe and convenient, though it can be quite dark at night. To find the hotel, there'll be a sign right before/near the famous restaurant called Red Snapper. Near to 7-Eleven and pharmacies and local eateries (if you're keen on trying local authentic thai food). Overall, good stay :)

Everything was perfect.resort built to excellent standard bungalows are so romantic.pool is clean and plenty of k.only a handful of bungalows on resort so it never gets busy.Less than 2min walk to beach via a private footpath.can,t recommend this resort highly enough excellent value.

Chilled and relaxed, pleasant ”
We only booked two nights at NT LANTA and ended up staying 6! We loved ko lanta as an island and found it a peaceful break after leaving the hussle of phi phi. The resort is small with a lovely pool ideal for couples wanting easy access to bars, restaurants and activities but somewhere quiet to get a good nights sleep! The room was a good size cleaned daily and right next to the beach however the rooms are basic and probably should have been a bit cheaper, the breakfast is extremely basic we decided to cancel breakfast and found a two amazing French breakfast venue across the road with great wifi (the living room) where the breakfast is brilliant at the same costs as hotels! Staff were friendly and always about if you needed anything, overall highly recommended for basic peaceful central acomodation.

Nice hotel, but lack of service and facilities”
nice pool and basic, clean rooms with airconditioning, fride and tv. hot water, but shower pretty week. there is a bar next to the pool, but all you can get from the bar is beer and coke. not even water! reception was nearly almost empty, so if you had something to ask from the staff, you had to wait a long time to see anyone. we liked the klong dao beach much better than the pra ae (long) beach, so for us the location was not so good.

Good value bungalow, near beach and restaurants”
We originally booked 4 nights here in December 2013, but ended up staying for 10 nights. Why? Great value, close to beach (2 minute walk), very close to good restaurants (our two faves were Patty's Secret Garden and May's Kitchen), and right next to the main emergency clinic on the island. This is not a fancy place -- bad water pressure in shower, bathroom is really basic and could be updated, wifi didn't reach our room. That said, we loved how quaint the place was, how kind the staff was (they cleaned our room everyday!), and how close we were to all the restaurants and the beach. I definitely recommend this place, but don't expect the Ritz.

very nice staff, decent hotel, room is very clean, lovely decoration, very nice pool and good location even though not right at the beach but reachable by walk. Restaurants and bar can be found very near. Calm and good for relaxing.

Very nice”
Very nice people managing this place. When our taxi never showed to take us to the ferry, the manager took us in his truck. Its not on the beach but its a short walk to the beach. If you want to be on the beach you could try Castaways which is nearby but you will pay a lot more. I would go back to NT.

near the beach”
located at the end of long beach, 2 minutes walk to the beach from the hotel but theres a lot of rocks and if its low tide it is unswimmable so you have to walk further down a little bit then you will enjoy the beach more. the hotel staff speak very basic english but they are very helpful and friendly. i didnt really like long beach that much but i do like klong dao beach better.

the rooms were quite nice. great a/c, the pool was very clean and comfortable. there was a bit of a language barrier with the staff, but they were very polite and helpful when possible. the hotel is minutes from the long beach, which is a decent beach, but the ones in the south were much nicer.

200m to the beach”
Close to the beach. Breakfast is not good. Pool is great. Hotel atmoshpehre is really nice. It's beach is a little bit rocky. If you don't want to travel to other beaches, better stay on another bay.

Nice setting, but could be improved”
These are nice bungalows in a nice garden setting with a pool, not far from the beach. On the negative side, I had to wait half an hour at the front desk before someone came to check me in, and the AC and the kettle did not work.
