Find hotels near Naiyang Beach in Phuket, Thailand

We had booked at a horrible 3* in Kata for the last 3 nights of our Thailand trip. On a whim we bit the bullet and booked at the Slate for our last night to try save the trip. So glad we did. Wasn't a cheap exercise but they allowed us a late checkout at 9pm so we could shower before heading to airport. This resort is immaculate. 3 stunning pools. Right on Naiyang beach, so much better than Kata, Karon or Patong. Airport is 10 minutes away although you wouldn't know. 5 restaurants, one of which has you pontooned across to the tables. However, it comes at a cost. But if you don't feel like eating there are local restaurants just outside. Lots of activities offered.

Naiyang Beach is a great area, very close to the airport and not close to the horrors of Patong, but still has a town nearby. The only downside to this hotel is that the food, drinks and activities are very expensive, and are really pushed by the staff. However, there is a fantastic restaurant right next door in Naiyang Park, and a tonne of restaurants down the road about 100 meters that sit on Naiyang beach (though these vary in quality) go next door for beautiful Thai food in a lovely setting. For activities best not to book through the hotel but go down the road and haggle with the tour operators directly.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel with our 3 month old baby. We booked the pool access room and it was really beautiful. The cleanliness was 10/10 and the room layout was spacious and cozy at the same time. The pool was very clean and child friendly. We had meals at big fish restaurant as well as Andaman kitchen and everything we had was delicious! Breakfast buffet has a lot of variety and there is no hustle and bustle (despite being at full capacity) unlike other 5 star hotels. The best part of our stay was the staff, every single person we encountered was kind, warm and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. We were nervous traveling with our baby but the staff made everything so easy for us. Special shout out to Jenny and Mod as well as the sous Chef at big fish restaurant. The only negative comment I have would be the price of activities provided by the hotel, the transport charges were a little too steep and despite the hotel spa rates being in comparison to other 5 star hotels, the actual spa experience was not on par with their rates. The massages should be worth the amount charged but it was very ordinary fell flat. Despite that I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends and family.

We have stayed at Naiyang beach resort a number of times and it is always a pleasure and a fabulous place to stay after a long flight, being only 10 minutes from the airport. The staff are lovely, the rooms comfortable, the gardens lush and spectacular, across the road from a beautiful beach. We stayed at 4 different places on this holiday and the breakfast at Naiyang was definitely the best. Sometimes the organised transfer driver doesnt show up at the airport but a simple phonecall and they're there is 10 minutes. Naiyang beach resort is certainly excellent value for money. The cost comes if you are staying for a longer period and need transport for shopping or visiting other tourist attractions on the island. Naiyang beach along with all others on Phuket is changing with the removal of beachside stalls, shops, vendors etc which was happening while we were there so it's unclear how this will change the dining and shopping opportunities. Nevertheless it is a beautiful and quiet location and a great place to stay going to or from the aiport.

I had a great stay at Ideo! Little did I know, the beach was right down the walkway near the Naiyang resort. No need to travel to the town to get a massage as they have the massage parlour there for cheap. There's also tasty and cheap local food either on the street or restaurant once you take the walkway to through the resort. I do recommend renting a motor bike if you can. Transportation was expensive on my opinion compared to other places since it's near the airport. It shouldn't cost more than 350-400baht to get to Ideo. Make sure you take a meter taxi to the hotel. It's literally 7 minutes away. The hotel was nice, clean, very accompanying and cheap for its great service. I definitely would come here again!

A transit hotel for me which is closer to the Airport. Very friendly and helpful Lady who manages everything from check-in to the small convenience store next door. Room is clean and exactly what you see is what you get from the website's photos. No frills. Located 5 minutes walk to the Naiyang Beach, less crowded and peaceful beach. There's no direct sea view. The only feedback I can share is that there is some sound/noise made throughout certain period of the day/night which I guess from the water pressure pump and washing machines when they're being used. So quiet surrounding that you could hear a pin drop if you know what I mean. 1 way taxi fare to airport will cost you about 200baht in less than 7 minutes ride, anything more than paying 200baht is considered tip. Let me summarise the taxi fares for your reference, per trip per vehicle/car 4 seaters (price is always negotiable): Airport to Naiyang Beach= 200baht Naiyang Beach to Kata Beach= 1000baht Kata Beach to Patong Beach= 500baht Patong Beach to Naiyang Beach= 800 baht or 1000baht to airport Return to stay: 7/10

It was nice, especially the location and the staff! Some smaller issues were a bit disturbing: some loose hanging wires in the room, the towel hanger in the bathroom that was loose and the sharp points from the screws through the door show that there should be more care. Also some buttons of the RC for the airco did not work (OK - I repaired it for free!) Such easy to fix things should be taken care of always to give travelers the best experience.

I won't to go swimming at the beach 6/7 times a day hence I booked this nice small yet well set out clean room..staff helpfull. .WiFi good. .room clean..bad nice ..fridge excellant Thanks

This small hotel is right on the Nai Yang Beach. Three superb beach cafes are next door ~ The Beach Club, Mama Nang, and Phen's. There are several massage shops close by. The small walking street has a few cafes and the relocated Kobi Bar and Wats Bar and is 2 minutes away. Nai Yang Beach is a good beach for swimming and tops for kite surfing. Nai Yang is a very pleasant and relaxing Beach community. Downsides are the beach is cluttered with trash (Thailand is a 3rd World Country) and the bathroom in the room is small. The shower is not enclosed so your entire bathroom floor will be wet. Not that big a deal. I paid $30 per night thru Agoda Booking. Money is paid at the Sea View Place front desk. Not much English spoken, but enough to check in. So... well worth the money, mainly due to location, location, location.

I would definately stay here again. It is 1.3km walking from the beach and the owner will happily give you a ride if you want. The walk is fine though. I loved Charly and his wife. I was picked up at 430am from the airport and greeted with a smile, and checked straight into my room. I love the Naiyang area of Phuket, it is definately my favourite area in Phuket. Lovely beach and relaxed vibe.

I really enjoyed my time there ! The place is quiet, bungalows are cleans, they have air conditionner .... people who live their, are just amazing ! Very helpful .... always here if you need something ! I recommend this place, its 5 min ( motorbike ) from Naiyang Beach, very good price for the service and the quality of the room !

The location was very good for going to the airport in the morning, and it wasn't too far to walk to the beach (we did take a cab back). The pictures were deceiving as the hotel was under construction and not nearly as modern as the pictures led us to believe. Overall, good value and would stay there again. Room was clean and the staff was helpful and very friendly.

We only stayed here 1 night before our return flight to USA. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was great, and just steps to an AMAZING beach!!! The whole area of Naiyang, and the Sinarath national forest is a true gem in Phuket. A far different experience to the busy tourist traps like Patong!!!

We loved staying at Kingsacre. Glen and his wife were very accommodating to all our needs, we were upgraded to the luxury on suite and had a very enjoyable, relaxing and fun time. Glen not only was he an excellent host, he was also very funny and entertaining, we couldn't wait to hear the next stories. The full English breakfast was perfection, including fruit, toast, cereal, juice, tea and coffee. This is a really lovely and well designed hotel , the owners have built this hotel resort from scratch so a lot of love has gone into this project and equally they treat their guests with just as much love. We had an enjoyable 2 days of peace and relaxation, however there is the beach and various shops and restaurants located within a 10 minute walking distance. We dined at number 4 restaurant, it was good food for the price. Very down to earth, chilled and a relaxing restaurant. Highly recommend a stay at Kingsacre, you will not be disappointed. These guys go above and beyond to accomodate

my flight was late at night and i planned to go to phi phi on the next day so i just picked any hotel that was close to the airport. it turn out to be a good choice. resort staffs were so nice and helpful, they came to pick me up from the airport in such a short notice (i called them when i arrived). i found that it was really peaceful resort when i woke up in the morning. l'esprit de naiyang was just opened so everything are new and charming. their pool villas were beautiful and the pool was extra long. i stayed in a deluxe sky room but will definitely book a pool villa next time, may be when i get back from phi phi. the only cons was that you have to cross a small canal by resort’s boat to get to naiyang beach but it was a quiet and beautiful part of it.

You have to climb steep and slippery stairs (especially during rain)to reach a nice and clean room. There is a water heater provided but neither coffee nor tea be found. Before you walk to the beach, find out about the tide and get their phone number - otherwise you have to take a taxi (300 thb). There is no breakfast provided near by, means you should buy my some food in advance (fridge) or pass through "The Imperial" and walk 20 min. to Naiyang Beach.

I stayed at the Naiyang Boutique Resort for three weeks, this being my second year with them..the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were always cleaned to a high standard every day ... If there was a small issue it was dealt with immediately....the breakfast was very good, equal to any of the restuarants on the beach and cheaper! They have opened an evening bar since last year...Jakobs Bar...very friendly and less expensive than bars at the beach...every little helps.. I have made friends there and will certainly go again, it certainly added to my holiday experience...

please note this review is for ruan mai beach *not* the other rooms (they are both in the same listing to confuse you, 2 different resorts!) expensive for what it is by thai standards, but cheap for phuket - if you're the type of traveller who has just been or plans on staying in baht a night beach bungalows, then this is a great hi or bye to the land of smiles to bookend your trip. previous reviewers noted the difficulty of finding the place so please pay attention: the ruan mai beach bungalow rooms are located right on nai yang beach, literally, you don't need to wear shoes to wander down the garden path and the resort opens directly to beach access, it's ace for the price & location and compared to the other resorts in this price range nearby. ask the taxi driver to take you to nai yang - get to dewa phuket resort and turn left, it's about 50metres up the road or so, after the national park food stalls. i've added it to google maps so you can find it more easily :)) anyway, the ruan mai beach is a tiny slip of a resort with about a dozen bamboo bungalow rooms totally out of place in phuket these days - but it works! you have just a short step to cheap national park on the one side, or to expensive farang restaurants for the russian package tourists on the other. the beach is lovely and great for a morning swim before you hop on a plane! these are not the most secure of bungalows and the step *is* ridiculous and potentially dangerous for oldies down to the bathroom. but for backpackers, no dramas. there were a lot of dogs barking (night before full moon maybe why?) but otherwise we had a quiet time and had a nice dinner on the beach nearby. good wifi too. we loved it but then we were well aware what to expect and it wasn't so hard to find because we had some idea where to go from previous reviews.

naiyang beach is the best, most are white people, good for reat and relax, and the beach is clean and cool, good for lying on the beach or go swimming!

We only stayed here for one night as a stop off for our journey to Ko Samui! The woman was so lovely and made sure we had enough toilet roll, coffee and water etc! Bed was comfy and sheets were clean! Walking distance to the beach where there are plenty of restaurants to eat in. Enjoyed our stay thank you!

Great accommodation. Tons of space. Living room with TV! And an amazing restaurant right next door!
