Find hotels near Nawarat in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Suggest to rename hotel to 137 Heaven. Peaceful, peaceful, peaceful. We booked the pool villa and although probably not the best pool the rest of the accommodation was simply divine. The staff were unbelievably attentive and observant, particularly the personal butler. The food at the restaurant was the best we have eaten in Thailand. I know 137 Pillars isn't the cheapest place in Thailand and you should expect more if you pay more but how often are you disappointed because your expectations have not been met? On this occasion and for our expectation levels (which we consider to be reasonable) we can not fault the staff or the standard of the hotel for completely meeting and surpassing our expectations. Chiang Mai was lovely, but once you've done it, you've done it ... too much else to see, too little time to do it!

the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the nawarat bridge. the bridge is only a 5 minute walk from the night market, so you are close to everything. the staff were really helpful and the place is absolutely spotless. when i return to chiang mai i will definitely stay here again.

This is a new hotel and definitely deserves more raves for its excellence! I stayed here for a night because I have an early bus to catch the next morning. The arcade bus terminal is about 15 min by foot, and probably only 5 min by car. If you have an early bus to catch, I'll suggest telling the hotel staff in advance so they can arrange transport for you. We couldn't find any transport available in the morning so we decided to walk instead. About 3 minutes later, the hotel staff ran out and chased after us! It turned out he managed to find a driver to fetch us for free! I was so touched by his effort in helping us, the eagerness to help and literally running the extra mile for us. Thank you so much!! :) In terms of cleanliness, this hostel is excellent too. It is very new so the place is well maintained. We had such good sleep that night. There's also a small balcony for you to air your clothes if needed. The hotel is also just beside the newest shopping mall, CentralFestival. Overall, we had such a good stay in the hotel, and the service is excellent which made the stay even more memorable. Thank you to all the staff in Nap in Fest! Keep it up and I'll definitely stay in this place again!

I can honestly say without a doubt one of the best experiences in any hotel I have stayed at in Asia. The staff were friendly and super attentive to our needs. They were courteous and friendly at every interaction we had with them. They have a cute little coffee shop that sells also boutique dog treats which was a nice little bonus. They also have multiple dogs that live on premises that made it even more memorable ( me and my fiancé are huge dog lovers). I would honestly plan a trip just to go back Chiang Mai to stay at this hotel and have the chance to explore an amazing city once more. 5 stars for this little boutique hotel!

Alright, initially I was extremely upset when I arrived and saw that town was far on the map staff said about 1 hour. Turns out this was a language barrier issue, if you walk to the bus station (4min walk) you can take the red bus into town for about 20B and takes about 5-6min you may just have to wait a bit for the red bus to get min 5 ppl. It will be 120B if you want the red bus for yourself. NOTE: if you arrive by bus do NOT take a tuk tuk to the hotel, it is just a couple mins walk from the bus stAtion. I had no idea where the hotel was and the driver wouldn't exactly tell me and I had just come off a 7hr bus ride so I just wanted to get there. Even though I beat down the price I still felt stupid for taking the tuk tuk because of how close it was (if you want exact directions from bus station you can shoot me a message). If you have heavy luggage and can't walk it don't pay more than about 30B. I hired a bike and saw a great deal of Chiang Mai in a day, it was awesome! Ok back to hotel, the staff is GREAT, especially front desk M and Mai their English isn't the best but they really do what they can to help. M even walked with me around the neighbourhood to show me nearby points of interest. Modern comfortable room, not very large but descent (small budget hotel but slightly nicer than your typical budget hotel) and an impressive tv channel list (SPORTS! news kids and movie channels) compared to everywhere else I've stay in thai Close to the hotel, about two min walk there is a shopping plaza with great coffee shops (like 4) good food a grocery mc Donald's subway etc I do recommend this hotel but only for a couple days stay at most

I booked this place for 4 nights after being told by an australian met in Malaysia and who stayed at Eco Resort for 2.5 weeks. The moment you step on the ground, you feel how quiet this place is. There is vegetation all around. And, when you walk towards the back, you almost drop dead when you see the amazing pool. They put me in a room in the dorm building just on the left of the reception. That room had 2 bunk beds. 2 guys were already there. It did not please me too much since the rooms are very very small and I had to occupy one of the upper beds. I went back to the reception and asked for another room but I kindly had to insist. I finally got a room in the back building, right by the pool. I really liked that room wich had a bunk bed. I repeat, the rooms are very small so I paid the extra to be alone. I could only do it for 3 nights since room was booked for the 4th night. On the fourth night, I had to move to the room next to mine and share my room with a guy who was already there for over 2 months. A big group of teenager invaded the place and from an oasis, the place turned into a summer camp. I decided then to leave for 2 nights until they were gone. The pool is awesome. The resort is super clean. The breakfast buffet is delicious but don't show up too late because the food gets cold. Coffee is very good as well. The immediate area does not have to much to offer as foodwise but walk to the main street on the left when you exit the resort and you'll find good restaurants with cheap food. Much cheaper than in old city. There is also a 7 Eleven. Wifi is good but often, you get disconnected. Works everywhere, even all around the pool. The staff is polite, friendly but limited english is spoken. Ironically, when I checked out, there was a seminar in the conference room in order to recruit english teachers for Thailand.

Staffs are very helpful & thoughfull although they don't speak very good English. 5mins walk to the bus terminal and we can store our luggage at the hotel till we are back from Pai & Chiang Rai. Room is very clean and spacious. The bad point is should have lift in the hotel .

Only stayed for 1 night. The room is clean and quiet new. The shower is ok. BUT no drinking water. The best is the location. It is very close to the Arcade station. You can reach Arcade within 10 minute by walk. I choosed this hotel bcoz I had to catch the bus to depart Chiangmai and do not want to hasten in the early morning.

I stayed here for a month while I took a course nearby. The location was great for my needs but is about a ten-minute walk or a 60ish baht Grab into old city. There are plenty of cheap and delicious restaurants/food stands nearby and the 24hr 7-11 around the corner was super convenient. (Ask about a hot water kettle for your room!) The room and entire hotel were impeccably cleaned each day. The staff are all exceedingly kind and helpful. The laundry facilities were good and cheaper than those at my friend's hostels(30baht wash, 50baht dry-but you can easily dry things on the balcony). The pool leaves a little to be desired but nice to have the option there on a hot day. There are multiple pharmacies down the road, a hospital nearby and a great little massage place(Himawari) around the corner, coffee and bubble tea.... This location had everything I needed. This hotel and location truly allow one to live like a local, especially during a long stay. Highly, highly recommended.

From a previous reviewer: "smartly placed at the city centre" ??? hardly! pretty much out on the outskirts, actually. Location "excellent" for us, but of course, not for everyone. For the money, yes... negative details include the shower water heater that didn't work... and (as another reviewer mentioned) lack of immediately available hot water for, say, coffee - but we asked for an electric kettle, and got it... on the positive side, very clean, new even, but again, some of the new details of the bathroom were not well done, broken already... no problem with the mattress, as is often the problem elsewhere... a/c worked fine... There was a bit of confusion about who was responsible for the booking, whether it was agoda or Zen Rooms or the hotel itself... a very small amount of money was involved, but the problem was not the money, just what was right or wrong about the booking... Overall, very good! and by pure happenstance, had a nice chat with the owner, friendly...

So the perfect apartment, so clean and so convenient, so perfect equipment, do not want to go out to play, how to say, everything is new, clean and tidy so you don't want to dirty the landlord, high quality, attentive and enthusiastic, in air conditioning have been prepared, washing powder detergent ready. Instant noodles tea candle you can think of the dishes are ready, even umbrellas are ready, ready to map magazine, in full is to enjoy the night view of Chiang Mai, see, see the whole town, the language is pale, indescribable beauty. Also, the price is cheap, don't consider the traffic, gas station car are next to the supermarket.

The rooms are decent and big and the proximity to the bus station is great! But what really sets this place apart is the friendly informal casual chill easy-going just all-around nice service! We were actually pretty much just on our own, but small touches made our stay comfy and relaxing! It's not in the middle of the action, but if you want to be close to the bus station as you're coming or going, or if you rent a motorbike/car and don't mind a quick drive into town, I'd highly recommend a stay here!

We were checking in quite late but the staff were around for us to call and give us the key. Main thing is it's within the walking distance since we needed to catch the bus around 6 in the morning.

Great value for the money, very friendly staff. Big, modern and clean rooms! Good deal, if the 10 minutes walk to the central doesnt matter! I was totally happy with my decision to come here, so that i even extend my stay.

Took sometime to find the hotel the first time. Staffs at the hotel were very friendly. The room was very clean and spacious. Love the simple design of the room. About 30mins walk to Tha Phae Gate but can easily reach there by taking the red taxi. Would return to Jaonaay in the future!

Stayed here on 27 - 30 December 2018. Room were clean and had a private garden. Staff at this hotel were very helpful since the day we checked in right up to the day we checked out. They always had smiles on their faces any time of the day.. I would most certainly stay here if ever im in Chiang Mai again.
