Good place to stay if you have limited time and want to explore Ninh Binh but also near to train/bus”
Owner was very helpful, has bicycles (including cheap chinese mountain bike, not just push bike) for exploring Ninh Binh. I was worried it would be too far to cycle but actually if you are in good shape, it is very convenient. I cycled all the way to Bich Dong, Tam Coc, Hua mu, Trang An and back in one day. The owner was kind enough to let me shower and hang around until my night train that evening! From the hotel only a 20,000 dong grab ride to train station and 5 minutes. So, I would suggest to anyone with tight timeline to stay in city center rather than out in Tam Coc or Trang An. Hotel breakfast was nice, fresh fruit nice bread and omelette. Room comfortable, and quiet!

Great Affordable Hotel”
My family and i stayed here for two nights and were very pleased with how clean and comfortable the rooms were. The staff was very helpful in explaining what there was to do and see in Ninh Binh, and even had scooters to rent for about $7.50 a day. The breakfast was simple but well done, considering how cheap the rooms are. I am very pleased and will stay at this hotel again the next time i visit Ninh Binh.

Very Caring Staff”
The staff was very caring and helped us guide through our stay here. They helped us rent a motorcycle, to book bus to halong bay and explained us with a map of ninh binh to visit the places. They even prepared early morning breakfast for us since we had to leave early on the last day. Very clean and cozy hotel. Definitely recommended in Ninh Binh.

Very good base for exploring the Province”
We chose Ngoc Anh 2 based on reviews and it was very good - friendly staff organised our car & driver for the tours each day. Rooms very clean, and breakfast freshly made - eggs, bread, coffee, fruit. They pick up and drop off at the railway station if requested.

A god send after sierra homestay”
I wrote a review which was intended for sierra homestay and submitted it for Ngoc Anh. This place was great after staying one night at Sierra homestay. The staff spoke perfect english and were so helpful in arranging things for us. Massive rooms. It is in the city so the view was of the street.

Stunning views”
We chose this hotel knowing full well that it was away from the center of Ninh Binh. The views from our room were truly amazing and the staff are sweet But that was it. Negatives: none of the staff spoke English. All previous reviews said they spoke good english but actually what they do is use google translate which is fine except when it actually does not work! We were later told that it is their son who speaks English but he was gone the day we arrived. The motorbikes did not work. We tried the bicycles and the brakes kept failing. Another traveller said she used the motorbike and then it died on her and she had to drag it all the way back to the hostel. Food is not amazing and the father comes over to chat whilst blowing cigarette smoke while you ate. We left after one nights stay.

Good service, elevator and motorbike rental at the hotel.”
The room was very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. You can rent a motorbike from the reception for a reasonable price. I stayed one night and I found the location good. It is in a walking distance from a market and restaurants. I did not go for the nightlife but I think there were plenty of karaoke bars in the next street. The hotel has an elevator which is a plus. The only negative thing I can say is that the room door was very thin and you could clearly hear anything from the stairwell. That said, I can say that the hotel was quet and I was not disturbed. Thanks.

Excellent hotel!”
We were so impressed with this hotel for the price. Huge room (fitted 4 beds) & bathroom, the bed & pillows were the best we had in our entire Vietnam trip (8 hotels), nice soft doona. Room was immaculately clean. Breakfast choice was good & amount of food plentiful. Staff were genuinely friendly & very welcoming. A good choice of restaurants nearby. You won't be disappointed if you book this hotel! Manager was excellent!!

Super helpful manager”
Not what I was expecting but great hotel. On motorcycles that were parked inside reception at night. Had a tyre problem that local Honda dealer were useless in dealing with. Just wanted rid of us and sent us to another shop who were even more useless. The manager cycled down with me to two other shops and we had it fixed in an hour. Great room and great breakfast too as we'll as helpful advice on where to go and what to see. Was sorry to move on.

amazing hotel, amazing staff, great value!”
This was hands down our favorite hotel during our 3 months in SE Asia, and one of the very few we'd stay at again or recommend to friends. The staff were so helpful, but not pushy. We did a one-day bike tour with one of the hotel employees to see Tam Coc and some other local sites, it was just great. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The food was very good. Overall, this was probably the best value we found during our trip.

this is a good hotel, certainly in comparison to the price, well located in the centre of town. Delightful staff, very helpful, managed to arrange all our trips, train tickets etc, Rooms well equiped, breakfast good. The place to stay.

Great hotel in Ninh Binh”
We stayed 3nights in this fairly new hotel. Very nice, on the main street, a bit noisy in the morning if you face the road, which are the nicer rooms, but we had no trouble sleeping. Good breakfast in the morning. They also provide tour services and rent very good and new looking bikes. They also provide lots of info on what to see and how to get there. We had hired our own tourguide ahead of time, so we did not use their services. But the owner was extremely friendly and appeared very helpful.

Really great simple hotel with lots of amenities. Room was really huge of triple. Mr Phuong is great. Took good care of us, arranging tours and transport and free send off to the train station. Location is great and has good restaurants around.

Owner is very helpful. Will pick you up from the trainstation. Organize car, bicycle or motorcycle. Great breakfast. Hotel has only 12 rooms, very cozyand quiet. Chookies resteraunt is across the street.

It was a welcoming sight after our 5 hours bus journey from halong bay. The man at the reception was very friendly & spoke good english. Room was very clean & spacious enough for my 2 kids & us. Breakfast was like home-made, simple & nice. Will definitely return

Didnt expect much beforehand but Phuong went beyond my expectations for customer service. He was very attentive and helpful. I didn't have any issues while staying there but if I did i am pretty confident he would of gone above and beyond to help. Breakfast was good and fresh. He also provides private car services for a reasonable price. I recommend this place.
