The room is always nice and clean And the breakfast for salad bar, omelet and coco crunch are so good👍 but for bakery please make the bread more softer because the taste is still a bit hard to eat🙃

Fabulous Hotel and very beautiful nice & Clean But little Far from Haram (Kaba) Bus Service is Good as well but again for families keep in mind to walk a minimum of 15-20 minutes to Masjid Al Haram. Finally I Recommend this for those who are fit and can walk.

Nice, modern and convenient hotel. Location: Not so great. Far from the Alharam Almakki but shuttles are available although not consistent with time. Drop off and pickup may vary if the road is closed by police specially on Fridays. Make sure to double check with the bus driver. The hotel staff won't be helpful. Room: really nice setup and comfy bed. One thing I hated was the bad smell of drainage in the washroom. There no caps on top of them and the smell can get really stinky. Staff: depends some are really professional and have really good customer service skills. Others lack both. Specially reception employees.

Property is new and the rooms are nice although quite small. However, guest service is very poor. There is an active shuttle bus to Haram but it drops you faraway from the gate at Gaza Bus station (they can't stop another place) so it is not convenient location-wise. Also breakfast is relatively expensive. Finally it seems that all rooms have the toilets in line with Qibla which is a big mistake. خدمة العملاء سيئة جدا ولا يوجد استجابة لأي طلب تقدمه. أعتقد أن الإدارة والموظفين يحتاجون للمزيد من التدريب. انصدمت عندما رفضوا تمديد وقت المغادرة لساعة واحدة فقط بحجة أن الإدارة أعطت تعليمات مشددة بهذا الشأن :)

Needs improvements ”
The hotel was very good in terms of cleanliness and location. But I guess since it was new services were lacking. Good breakfast and dinner. Besides the services we encountered two problems in the room. The cupboard door came off its hinges and almost fell on us. The WC is in the same direction of Qibla, it should be in another direction.

everything is good except a very bad communication between stuff specially front office and house keeping house keeping not speak Arabic nor English I have triple room but they insist it's double room and refuse to prepare sofa for my daughter I note to front office 3 times and duty manager but no response I'm very Sade of Neglecting from stuff Thank you Dr.Hazem Mahdally

PLEASE READ THIS!!! DO NOT BOOK THIS ZERO STAR HOTEL!!!”
As an avid hotel stayer whose stayed in multiple five star hotels all across the world, this Thakker City Novotel is the WORST! From the moment we checked in, it was PROBLEM AFTER PROBLEM. First of all the hotel is set up in 3 different towers, if you need anything like reception, food anything, you’ll have to walk over to tower two. Tower 1 and Tower 3 consist of bare minimum hardly functioning rooms, with faulty air conditioners, over flowing showers with faulty slopes and barely enough space to sit down. Even in tower 2, you’ll feel the difference between staying in five star and staying in ZERO STARS WHICH NOVOTEL THAKKER CITY BRANCH IS. They do not have any updated charger ports for iPhone or android users, so be prepared to have zero charge. The water bottles they give can be finished in 2 sips, seriously. They refuse to give more. The front desk, reception and any staff or personnel are USELESS, you can’t ask any questions because they never have answers. They only speak Arabic & struggle with even basic English which is not accommodating to foreigners who mostly speak English. It is also very far from the Haram, and though they offer bus service it’s only hourly and it drops you off at Al Ghaza Bus Station, which to the Haram is a 35 minute walk, uphill through the bridge which is chaotic and impossible. I think the worst part is that they create their own falsified reviews saying that they are an amazing hotel. Because it’s really clearly the opposite. Thakker City is also devoloping in and of itself so the whole area is hilly terrain, unable to walk and no easy taxi or Uber service there. There is also no restaurant emergency grocery, nothing. So if you were to buy food or lunch you’d have to go to Masjid Haram area anyways. They say they are in their soft launch, however their is no such exception when it comes to business. Should you decide to open, open with a hard launch, one where your business of accommodating people is ready to go. It’s not a video

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay at Makkah for days. Although the place is not that too accessible from Al Haram, they have shuttle buses that will deliver and pick you up which is available every 1-2 hours.
