Standard hotel no frills but friendly service ”

The front desk service was excellent. Tourist maps provided, information on Nottingham. Bar staff friendly and excellent service. Room was clean and tidy, comfortable bed. The hotel itself is looking a little tired. Location between Nottingham and Derby and closeness to M1 makes it ideal for a stopover. I have no complaints.

First time at Novotel hotel very impressed with room. Staff friendly. general facilities good. only negative was being ignored for about 5 minutes by staff in restaurant before being seated-after which service and food were good

Convenient location at a good price”

My partner and I needed somehwere to stop close to an event we were going to in the evening near to M1 J25. The Novotel was ideal, with a good room at a sensible price. We only needed the room, and didn't make use of the bar or restaurant.

Nice hotel”

Booked this hotel for £40 for 1 night. Only used room, no facilities or food as was only staying late evening and leaving early following morning, room fantastic for price

Refurbished--the icing on the cake”

It was just as comfortable as always, with a warm welcome at reception, friendly staff, soya milk and vegan food available. and a real modern tastefully decorated room including fridge.

One night stop would stay again”

Great location public rooms bar etc are to a high standard the beds are very comfortable are the decor really goid with the helpful staff they have would defiantly stop again

Brilliant, will definitely return”

Cons: nothing Pros: we checked in fairly late and the receptionist was polite, our room was immaculate, bed was so comfy, shower and bathroom was 10/10, loved it there!

Clean but tired”

Given the circumstances with covid19 I did expect changes, which was fine. Good to see screens up at reception, hand sanatiser at crucial points, lifts etc. Room was clean, bed comfy, shower bathroom was nice. Air con didn't work. Woke around 5am thinking someone was in shower room. The running of water was so loud I actually got up to double check! Thankfully must have been adjoining room or above but was ridiculously loud. Breakfast was included but not told what to expect other than take a plate and head back to room to eat when arriving. Went down at 7:30am nobody in sight, all closed other than a box a cereal, 3 bowls of the usual cereal and jug of milk. Some bread ends in a basket to help yourself. Now I get with government guide lines etc no buffet the usual hotel breakfast days are gone but unsure of how it's ok still have to share cereal mix, share the same milk jug and rumugae through a bread bin?!? So breakfast was skipped. Quick 1 night stop. That's all.

We found the hotel great for our needs. Easy access, simple to drive to, well connected for the attractions we wanted. Staff we very friendly and made us feel really welcome too.

Very helpful staff”

Service in the restaurant was very slow, and the food was not that good. However, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel rooms were clean but the bathroom needed updating. Overall, good value for money.

Other than a terrible STENCH in corridors all was fine”

The Hotel really must get rid of Stench , the smell made us feel ill, I gather from speaking to staff members it has been going on for over 3 weeks!!!!

Novotel Nottingham”

Perlu dilengkapi dengan kipas di musim panas. Aircon tidak berfungsi. Perlu penunjuk arah atau signboard yang jelas untuk sampai ke hotel ini bagi mereka yang pertama kali hendak sampai kerana lokasinya terletak di selekoh. Bilik air dan toilet bowl adalah berasingan, sedikit sebanyak ianya adalah menyusahkan.
