Pros: 1.)Since the hotel is located at ampang road, it is convenient if you're looking to travel to klcc or kl area. 2.) We booked the 1 bedroom premier apartment for 3 nights. The room is spacious. Bed is comfy, toilet is clean and comes with bathtub. The view from the room is great. 3.) Pool size is decent and water seems warm even though on rainy weather. Not sure if it is heated. Didn't manage to try the gym though. 4.) Complimentary breakfast comes with adequate selection. Great view overlooking the pool when dining. 5.) Staffs are polite and helpful. 6.) Overall great value compared to other similar choices in the area. Cons(Not really cons but can be improved) : 1.) Parking is at basement lv2 where there's only walk up stairs. Advice to drop luggage at main lobby 1st before proceeding to carpark. 2.) Breakfast quality has dropped since the last time I have been here. Recommend changing more varieties everyday.

Impeccable services!!! Nothing to complaint. Really worth of money 1. STAFF -Staff is very nice. from reception to restaurant, and housekeeping. they fulfill my request very fast 2. ROOM -Room very huge!! got 2 TV in one apartment, one in living room. another one in the bedroom. toilet very huge! bathtub very huge! got rain shower completed with toiletries. the matteress and pillow also super comfortable.my baby sleep tak nak bangun ! 3. CLEANLINESS - Spotless clean!! cadar and everthing very clean and comfortable! Provide sabun cuci pinggan some more 4. EQUIPMENT - Apartment completed with rice cooker and oven. very good for family with baby like me! 5. OVERALL WORTH OF MONEY

Great stay at nice & cozy hotel at the heart of Kuala Lumpur”
Really a great stay at this hotel, the room was big and comfortable.One Bedroom Apartment is so suitable for us. Separate living room and bedroom. Two air-conditions and cooling enough. A small kitchen with fork and spoon, rice cooker, toaster, plates,glasses, mini fridge (inside cabinet) and filtered water. Very clean and new furniture. Bed & pillows are comfy as ever. Large toilet.Oakwood Hotel and Residence Kuala Lumpur definitely offers simplicity and modern comforts that is definitely good value.We were pleasantly surprised at how friendly and professional the staff.Credit to very friendly staff guy name Yong Nan.Overall good value for money and good service. Will come back again!

Excellent hotel. Old building refurbished into sparkling new hotel. Close to KL city centre. Next to 7 Eleven, Domino's Pizza, few western restaurants, and Arab restaurant. Parking available at the basement. Swift check in process. Great view of KL city. I stayed in 1 bedroom suite. It was nice, clean and spacious. 2 TVs with lots of channels. Spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room complete with safe box, iron & ironing board, bathrobes, toothbrush, hairdryer, microwave oven, mini fridge, dining plates, utensils, cups and glasses. The only downside is the congested main road. It was a challenge getting into the main road. However, I will definitely come again.

Nothing bad I want to say about this hotel except you’re gonna love it. If you drive a car the parking at the basement is secured and free you need to validate the ticket. Staff is really helpful and friendly very efficient checkin/out. But the room, its a studio basically so you have a living room and a bedroom. The studio is clean with good facilities. There’s 2 TV. There’s bathtub. And the hotel is in the heart of KL, near KLCC. So pretty much very convenient. I’ve been here 4 times and its always a pleasure to stay

Great Quality for Not Many Bucks”
It was amazing, the difference of paying $15 more than my previous down town room. The room was spacious with a lounge and kitchen. Every minutiae had been thought of from a new iron and ironing board to an oven/microwave. The bed was like a soft cloud. The sofa was brand new and the place was as polished as a show room for an upmarket condo. Room service was fast and the food great with local and international offerings. The gym was fine. The restaurant area needs some more organisation. It was empty. I sat in one section and was asked to move as it was closed. I sat in another section and was told if I wanted happy hour beers I'd have to sit outside by the pool bar. Although staff were friendly and chicken wings were great. I would recommend their Tea Time special assortment. I would stay here again!

Everything about our 3 days 2 nights stay was amazing..Check in was a breeze & the room was just fantastic!The place is clean & well kept..The amenities provided was sufficient.Breakfast was a spread & the pool was too enticing we had to have a dip on the last morning.I just couldn't find anything to complain about our stay..Even parking was no problem.Our 1st time stay here & definitely not a last..I would highly recommend this property,no doubt about that!

I stay at this hotel just for one day, but the service are perfect. The price, facilities and even the place are static its not far from shopping place & easy to find food. Actually, I've made the wrong booking at first, I take the double single bed but then I only need to add RM 50 to have queen bed. Its not that expensive. What I've been shocked the room I get I have bathub, I thought they don't have it , can see the pool (oh their swimming pool I love it ) And to all the staff thankyou even I didn't managed to deco for my wedding anniversary but you guys superb preparing all the balloons and give the complimentary cake. I love this hotel, for sure will stay there again. Have a wonderful blessed life everyone ❤️

Come during CNY Festival. Everything was okay. Spacious room clean n tidy (apt 1 room) completed with some electrical equipment etc; iron with board,hairdryer, microwave, toaster. good breakfast n nice pool. Pool just infront of the cafe. Free parking .will come again. Thank Oakwood Hotel.

At first I don't expect much...and last minute booking..but the rooms equipped with high quality and branded furniture, TV and bathroom equipment..the staffs are also very helpful., even with high number of visitors at that time...the only drawback is they can only provide 1 card due to high visitors...and the elevator needs he card to go up...but the staff are helpful to help if we need to go upstairs with their help...pool is also very good...best to go afternoon,,as the sun facing at the other side (less heat)...they implemented very good SOP limiting no of visitors at pool...also cudos to them for having Earth Hour implementation!

Located along Jalan Ampang, the hotel is near the major shopping area via a short trip by Grab (10 ringgit). Well-equipped, the room is spacious, clean and includes all that a traveller needs. The swimming pool is managed well. There's ample parking. For the price it is a real steal!

Room and toilet very clean! Easy to get public transport (we use rapid kl bus) from hotel to klcc. The staff is very polite and main thing is this hotel offer late check out until 2pm! WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO STAY AT OAKWOOD HOTEL AND RESIDENCE KL :)

Room is spacious and clean. Food is delicious but variety of food can be improve . Need to put more staff in dining area during peak hour (breakfast) since only 1 person in-charged for overall (counter, top-up food, table& floor cleaning). Overall highly recommended!!

I've stayed few times at Oakwood, everything's great. Friendly staffs overall, great location! (especially for tourists, nearby KLCC and other attractions), we didn't drive and use Grab most of the time, and everything is cheap (even in RM rate), value for money, hotel room with basic amenities, fair range of breakfast. Will choose Oakwood again for next visit.
