You want find something better for the same price. The room is clean and the beds ok. The common area is super nice to meet people or just chill if you want. They have Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) classes and cooking classes for free. Staff is nice and friendly. Nice food options around, not so far from Khao San but far enough to not be noisy/touristic. Really recommend and I'll come back on my next stay in BKK.

Big an clean room. Good space to chill out, air conditioner in the room night and morning. Kitchen available. All the bathrooms are downstairs(but is not a big deal), close to the reception. Excelente Wi-Fi. They do laundry and keep your big backpack there if you decide to travel Thailand for a wile.

Great Staff! Moo is the man!”
The staff here is awesome, they make sure you have a good time, specifically Moo is the best. He is a hilarious and very friendly Thai guy and he actually saved my life during my stay. I had lost my debit card the day before I checked in and he loaned me some money so I could stay at the hostel and have some money for food until I was able to replace my card and pay him back. I definitely recommend this hostel, had a great time while here.

I booked this hostel for waiting my boyfriend , so that I stayed alone for one night , girls who work here are really friendly , we didn’t spend too much time together but I feel intimate with them . Really cute and warm-hearted. After check out , I even put my boyfriend’s luggage in here (because we really don’t have anywhere else to place). I highly recommend this place, and to be honest, I will book to stay every time that I get to Bangkok . Seriously! Looking forward to stay with you again .

Exceptional”
I should have stayed just one night in this hostel, but the staff were so nice and friendly that I stayed 2 more. I've even learned how to cook some thaï dishes and we made a barbecue all together. It was very quiet but that's not a bad thing at all. I would recommend this place to everybody who wants to feel at home. And it's not too far away from the backpacker neighborhood. I hope I will come back there at the end of my trip. Thank you for everything :)

The first time I went there, I told them I was coming back, and now it's the 4th time. The place is very good, but the best there is Moo, the guy in reception. Homes are made by people, and thanks to him, this is one of my homes. Maybe without him I won't come back there

Little oasis on the middle of Bangkok”
I always go to Oh Compound Hostel for the first few days of my travel. Its in the center, clean, chill, not a lot of noise, 7/11 shops in 2 minute radius, and the garden is very relaxing. Always a lots of other tourists there to share their experiences and suggest cool places to visit. Suggestion: I would have liked to see a little "Where to eat, where to shop, where are the main boat and bus lines, how to het to the airport and train station the quickest" map, in case there is a person who is totally new to the city and the hostel is not so full.

This has been the best Hostel I stayed in over 2 months in South East Asia. The staff were so warm, the facilities exactly as required and the location perfect! I booked two nights and stayed five and I'll be coming back again for sure.

Amazing experience for low money ”
Amazing little hostel with big outdoor area and super chill staff! Great place for meeting people and hanging out. Unbeatable for the price. Planning on coming back on the end of my travels!

Good place away from all the noise. ”
Good place to chill. The courtyard is comfortable to hang out and meet the other guests. They have a kitchen equipped with a microwave oven. So basically guests can cook rice and do some simple dishes. There is a bbq pit as well. 7/11 and the nearby freshmart sell a few groceries so guests can have a get together. The old lady out on the alley way sells a pack of charcoal for 25 bath each. There's cushions and rugs at the reception room where guests can hang out and enjoy the complimentary Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is fast at this hostel. They offer free thai boxing and cooking classes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's complimentary tee and coffee too. The beds are comfortable and without any bedbugs. I recommend this place and will definitely stay there again.

For me perfect. Not into the kaosan trouble and noise but fairly close. Great backyard place, awesom tree and atmosphere. Mu is the best receptionist ever, if u feel the vibe. mu is just all time there and doing everything to make u feel welcome. allow him also resting - he does a great job all day long, every day of the week. luv ya :* <3

Met some really dope people here, staff was cool af, location is cool, its hard to find at first but some locals helped me find it. Its in alley with some great food near by so you get a real experience. Only thing is the sheets were kind of worn, but I personally didn't mind much. Also they had some problems with the showers during my stay, but they tried their best to get them fixed.

Home away from home”
Arrived early morning. Even though it was too early for checking in, I was greeted very warmly by Sally, offered shower, fresh coffee and a place to sleep untill my bed became available. I booked a bed in a female dorm by mistake and Moo smoothly solved this problem. Superb customer service!
